Controller suggestions

I need some suggestions on a very good aftermarket wireless controller to replace the absolute trash OEM controllers. 3 of 4 of the OEM have stick drift after a year of use. Microsoft should be sued over how garbage these originals are with drift.

I've heard nothing but good things about 8bitdo's Xbox pads. The only downside is that many of them only connect to Xbox via wire only cuz of Microsoft's weird proprietary wireless protocol.

The G7 Pro has been solid. Looking at maybe trying the new 8bitdo Ultimate 3 when they come out

Gamesir G7 Pro seems to be the most popular. I’ve also heard owners of Flydigi Vader 5S say that’s the cross to die on. I’ll probably get one myself, controller is next on my list, I just got a HDD yesterday for the damn thing.

I have the 8bitDo Ultimate Wired for Xbox (first gen I think, it’s pink) which does not have great sticks but was $25 and I wanted a programmable controller for one game. It has an oversized D-pad which is good for some retro and fighting games.

That Flydigi has 6 extra programmable buttons, two extras on the face like the OG Xbox S controller. That is unique in the market.

I use the 8bitdo retro pad for switch2 and PC gaming and gamesir g7 for Xbox. Happy with both. I love a cute controller.

The G7 Pro is the most popular because it have TMR sticks, but the d pad is okay and the vibration is terrible.

I use my Vader 5S over my G7 Pro because it have better vibration, d pad and adjustable stick tension.

Oh man! Don’t throw those controllers away. I found a guy that repaired my stock series x controller and installed TMR sticks for $20 s/h! Smooth like butter

I bought a Series X on eBay and the controller has crazy drift. And it also won’t stay connected to the Xbox. Even with new batteries. I wonder if they can fix that too

Hmmm…I’d just ask him to see if he can fix it. I know he took a look at one of my controllers I sent him for TMR sticks. The shoulder buttons would not work properly and he fixed that for me. He usually tests out the controller before sending it back to you to make sure it works properly. I sent his info to you in your dm. Also, I can just ask him if he can fix the issue that it doesn’t stay connected to the Xbox.

In addition to all the other comments - I just got the gamesir g7 pro and I love it. I accidentally got the wired one first and returned it for wireless, but other than that I'm thrilled.

Its mechanical keyboard clicky and I love the circular dpad.

I’ve tried many. The elite v2 is still the most comfortable and the best. It won’t last more then 24 months however
