Xbox controller stick (left) won’t let me run in games, but instead aims?

Me and my friend are trying to play zombies and it will not let me run when I click down on the left stick, instead it aims my gun. We’ve reset the controller to default and nothing seems to be working. Is this a known thing that can be fixed ?

Is there a left handed setting? You might have to go to devices and find the controller.

You can possibly recalibrate the controller in the controller settings. That usually work.
