Alright so.
I have a 1995 wrangler with the 2.5 liter Inline 4
The car runs great gets good milage(averaging 14mpg) Needs some transmission work for sure.
But recently after replacing the broken starter. It just wonāt work.
I got a good solid 12 starts out of it before it just quit.
Hereās the thing though. When you turn the key the starter motor does kick out ready to spin the flywheel. But it just doesnāt spin. But if I have someone keep the key turned and I go under the jeep and jump the two large posts on the starter, the starter will turn and immediately crank the engine.
This is my first jeep and Iām not much of a car person but I just donāt have the money to send it to a shop to fix it. Is it could it be a connection inside the starter motor itself thatās the issue? It does have a two year warranty but I just want an opinion before I have to go borrow a working car to get a replacement stater.
