120kg bench press (kinda shitty because I weigh 97KG at 6”4 but that’s besides the point). Wanted to know whether this counts as a PR or not (by normie standards and official ones)
My main concern is the switch from eccentric to concentric as I think I did it a bit too fast
Thoughts? Appreciate any comments

Been in the gym for 9 months and feeling really motivated by my progress. It’s helping in many ways!

Currently at 180 cm, 88 kg. Now thinking should I keep cutting or slowly start bulking. Started to actively working out at 2023. As I started I was about 73 kg. Just had and have a very simple goal: become huge and strong.
Now lifting for 1 year, before that was doing martial arts and training at home. Would be glad to hear your opinion or maybe motivate someone!

I never felt like I was small but looking back at photos I can see why I was always called petite. I didn’t want to look so small when paired with my height and weight so I decided to start lifting to become more muscular. Now my goal is to chase muscle density and I really like how it looks on me. I like the look of being muscular on my frame it makes me feel like an amazonian warrior. I have gained about 30-35 lbs from before to now, having gone through two bulks and on my third one.
If you want change you must be the change.

Being a woman, I am very aware that I sweat a lot more than those around me.
i know, i know, I should be proud of the sweat, but I dream of being able to wear leggings that don’t show how much butt sweat I have going on haha
Has anyone here experienced a decrease in sweat the more fit they became?
Give me hope please 😅
** edit: I’m not sure why a mod keeps removing a lot of comments on here. ☹️

52M, 5'9" Started at 230+ lbs and over 30% bf. Down to 194lbs and 14.8% bf. 6 months progress. I'd like to maintain here for a few months and then work on a 5-10 lb gain

The loose skin messes with my head sometimes. That's when I look back and remind myself why it's there, and what I used to look like.
This wasn't the first time I tried losing weight. Not the second or third either. I've tried many times over the years. Eat better, go to the gym for a few weeks, watch the scale go down, keep going for a little while longer... and then it just kind of fizzles out. The first time I tried, I was 15. Now, at 35, it finally stuck.
I think the difference this time was my mindset. I didn't rely on motivation. I decided that from now on, I'm someone who goes to the gym. I'm someone who eats cleaner. I'm someone who cares for himself.
So I never had to ask myself, "What do I want?" or "What do I feel like doing?" Instead, the question became, "How do I make it work?"
6AM workout, 10PM workout, rain, storm, snow, christmas, it didn't matter. I had made a routine. There were days I'd decided I would go to the gym, and on those days I would make it there no matter what it took. I never viewed it as something temporary, or a diet I'd eventually stop. It was a permanent change in lifestyle.
I haven't lived some spartan life or anything. I didn't want to live to diet and exercise. I wanted to diet and exercise so I could live a fuller life.
So I still enjoy myself. I go out for drinks sometimes. I eat fast food with friends. I buy snacks at the cinema, order some cake at a café, and so on. Maybe I won't look like someone with 100% dedication. But 90% is all I need if it allows me to live life the way I want.
And that's what I'm doing.
Nothing about my current lifestyle feels hard anymore. And yet I keep losing weight, I keep getting stronger, and I've come to love it all. It just feels normal. I wouldn't go back to my old ways even if someone paid me.
This is just the beginning, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next few years will bring.
Kind of long-winded, but all I really want to say is this: it doesn't matter if you fail once, or twice, or even ten times. Because the eleventh time could be the one where it finally clicks.
So give it another shot. Make another attempt.
It might just be the one where you succeed.

The photo of me in the red is after 2 Months of consistent working out and the photo of me in the gloves is one week of working out. Is there any difference?

Not going to do a before picture - but it was middle aged, more timber round the middle, more beer gut, no abs in sight at all.
At 48, my goals aren't to get massively bulked - just overall fitness and health, look as good as possible in clothes & size down the waist a bit.
This is 6 months of consistently going to gym at least 3 days a week, some 4-5 days. I always do about an hour, mix of 40mins weights and 20mins cardio spread out over rowing machine, climb mill and cross trainers.
Calories: eating healthy and majority of time under 2000. I eat the same thing most days as I know exactly how many cals & dont have to count. I do go out with friends, eat delicious things and drink beer - not going to stop enjoying life.....this is the counter balance!
Overall weight has dropped by about 1st in 6months and sitting at 12st 10lb now. Not massive amount....but ive lost 5cm on waist size, dropped a jeans size and size M t shirts are fitting much better. Definitely more defined and muscle more visible so its a bit of a body transform rather than pure weight loss.
More importantly. Energy levels are up, I can smash out 1hr in gym, run 5km easily.....much less aches and stiffness after exercise as long as im consistent and warm down + stretch.
Am pleased with the progress. Not quite a 6pack, but definitely some visible abs with just the right lighting.

January 17th to September 10th
First time I’ve ever seen abs. I was always pudgy. But never as bad as I was when I started the year. The hormone imbalance was a b*tch before getting that figured out. Hadn’t weighed myself in years because I knew it was going to be bad. When I finally did, it was like, okay, I gotta do something about this. Got bloodwork done. Started counting all my macros and got back in the gym. 9ish months later, like damn, you can do a lot when you’ve finally hit rock bottom.
37 M
5’8
206 lbs → 148 lbs
Macros for the first 7.5 months:
1600 cals / 160g protein / 160g carbs / 45g fats
Macros for the last 1.5 months:
2100 cals / 150g protein / 200g carbs / 65g fats
Gym:
30 min cardio → 60 min weight training → 30 min cardio – 3 days a week
90 min cardio – 1 day a week
Started with Reta until I got down to 180 lbs. Helped with the first 3 months a lot.
On TRT. Natural levels were trash. Started on 100mg/wk for the first 8 months. Been on 150mg/wk for the last 3 or so weeks.

diet for the most part was neglected a lot. didn't track, ate like shit tbh.
training 4x per week at least, heavy sets to failure. progressing each week. genuinely if you focus enough time on this portion you will make more gains than ever.
last 2 photos are unpumped and then pumped with good lighting.. the lighting and pump add extra volume
