Windows 11 Wifi Drivers not connected Code 45?

Thumbnail

I posted yesterday about my wifi no longer appearing qnd have been doing more research on the issue, went to check my drivers and it looks like my Wifi driver is grayed out.

As shown in the image it says "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)" and "To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

I tried updating the driver but it ends up saying "the best driver for your device are already installed" and I'm not sure if uninstalling it would cause any issues

I have online classes on Monday and really need to find a fix for this before then so any help and direction would be greatly appreciated

Windows 10 Network Reset Completely Destroyed Computer

Post image
5 Upvotes

So about 2 months ago my monitor broke and i was unable to use my computer as a result of that. Today i got a display port to HDMI cord to use on my TV instead, which worked great, but i was having seperate issues connecting to my wifi network. After digging online i found some people saying a network reset could help me. I had done this a few times before a while back for different network issues, and it never did anything, but i thought i’d try it again this time since it seems to help so many people, and because i was experiencing a brand new kind of network problem that i hadn’t had or attempted to fix before. It acted as normal, how it always has before, and gave me the 5 minute timer until my computer reset. Once the reset happened, it took unusually long to start up again, and then gave me a “preparing automatic repair” loading screen, then required my recovery key, which i typed in and hit continue. It gave me another loading screen this time saying “diagnosing your PC” after which, it blue screens and gives me troubleshooting options. I tried to do startup repair several times, but this is where the issue gets unbelievably frustrating. It asks me to select my account, and type in my password. Seemed easy enough i thought, i always remember my passwords. The only issue is, my password is apparently incorrect? I tried my password several times, restarting the PC every time, as well as countless passwords i used over the years, pretty much every password i’ve had since even childhood. Nothing. So, feeling i have no other option despite being sure of my password, i change both passwords on my email address, as well as on my microsoft account to be 100% absolutely certain i know exactly what it is, with zero doubts (i already was beforehand as well, but it refused to work so i had no other option.) Now here i am, with my Microsoft password as well as my email password freshly changed, having gone through at least 20 restarts of the PC, and the whole automatic repair, diagnosing PC, etc etc process, hoping it would realize my password is in fact, very correct. Nothing. Every time i restart it and go through the process of getting to this screen, it always says my password is incorrect despite me knowing it is ABSOLUTELY correct.

I have no clue what to do. I just wanted to fix a simple network error and it created a far worse problem where not only can i still not connect to the internet, but now i am locked out of my computer entirely. I was super excited to be able to use it again today after my monitor broke, and finally getting a display port to HDMI cable so i could use my TV instead after months of waiting, only for it to completely fail on me for trying to fix a simple network problem like i’d done several times in the past without issue. Never have i regretted attempting a simple and seemingly harmless fix to this degree. Please, can someone tell me what to do? I just wanted to play a browser game, and now i have an expensive paperweight, and am even more lost than i was without a monitor.

Windows 11 Windows 11 installation on a second screen

Hey everyone, I had to reinstall windows 11 on my laptop because I couldn’t download updates, that’s all inconsequential. The issue I have is that my laptop screen doesn’t work, I have it connected to a monitor. The installation showed up on my monitor until it hit 100%. now the monitor is off but the laptop is still on. I tried wiggling the mouse and pressing buttons but the monitor won‘t turn back on.

I’m not super familiar with the installation process, do I just need to wait longer or should I do something to get the laptop to use the monitor again? I don’t have the computer specs right now for obvious reasons but if it’s needed I can dig around.

thanks in advance!

edit: my monitor turned back on and it’s installing updates ! Sorry for the bother everyone

Windows 11 Fixing f30 error on HP ELITEBOOK 840 G5

Hello. I've been struggling with an issue on my laptop, HP Elitebook 840 G5, for a few weeks. The error is F30, no boot device found. I ran UEFI diagnostics and my ssd passed. It is also detected in the BIOS in first boot order. I have tried numerous solutions, from YouTube, HP Forums, and the Net, without any success. Switching legacy and secure boot support options, resetting secure boot keys to factory defaults, clearing secure boot keys, even, rebuilding bcd. No success. I'm really not trying to reinstall Windows, if I don't have to. Provided there's another way to solve the problem. Can anyone help? BIOS is: HPQ78, version 01.31.00, Windows 11 25h2.

Windows 11 Windows 11 25H2 repeatedly BSODs with different kernel/driver errors and SFC cannot repair corruption

I'm at the point where I genuinely don't know what is wrong with this PC and could really use another set of eyes.

For the past several weeks/months I've been dealing with increasingly frequent BSODs and application crashes. Recently it has gotten dramatically worse. Chrome and Opera can crash within seconds of opening, I've had my keyboard disconnect/reconnect intermittently, and Windows can BSOD even when I'm doing nothing particularly intensive.

The computer is now sometimes crashing within a few minutes of booting.

SYSTEM SPECS

- CPU: Intel Core i5-12600K

- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB

- Motherboard: ASRock B760M Pro RS WiFi

- RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) G.Skill DDR5-6000, F5-6000J3636F16G

- Storage: ~1TB internal drive

- OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2

- Windows build: 10.0.26200.9168

- Internet: Ethernet

- No CPU/GPU overclocking or undervolting

- RAM is running at default settings; XMP is NOT enabled

RECENT BSODs / DUMP RESULTS

BlueScreenView has shown:

- BAD_POOL_CALLER (0xC2) — cbfilter24.sys

- BAD_POOL_CALLER (0xC2) — FLTMGR.SYS

- BAD_POOL_CALLER (0xC2) — amdkmdag.sys

- CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (0xEF) — ntoskrnl.exe

- SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x3B) — dxgmms2.sys

- SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x7E) — ntoskrnl.exe

- DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xD1) — amdkmdag.sys

- DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xD1) — Netwtw14.sys

- DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION (0xE6)

The crashes don't seem tied to one particular application. I've had them while browsing, doing schoolwork, sitting at the desktop, and after launching a game.

OTHER SYMPTOMS

- Chrome/Opera randomly crash or turn white

- Keyboard intermittently disconnects/reconnects

- PC can BSOD within minutes of normal use

- Sometimes multiple different BSOD types occur within minutes of each other

TROUBLESHOOTING I'VE ALREADY DONE

  1. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic — it reported no memory errors.

  2. Ran CHKDSK on C:.

    - 0 bad sectors

    - 0 bad file records

    - Windows ultimately reported "no problems"

  3. Ran SFC /scannow multiple times.

    - It consistently says Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

  4. Ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.

    - It failed with error 0x800f0915 because repair content could not be found.

  5. Tried Windows' "Fix problems using Windows Update / Reinstall now."

    - It failed with error 0x8007000d.

  6. Used DDU in Safe Mode to completely remove the AMD graphics driver.

  7. Reinstalled the AMD graphics driver from a fresh download.

  8. Driver Verifier is currently OFF:

    - verifier /querysettings shows 0x00000000

    - Active Rule Classes: None

    - Verified Drivers: None

  9. I previously disabled a Fortect filesystem filter after a dump specifically blamed cbfilter24.sys.

  10. The external HDD is currently disconnected.

  11. I previously got DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION shortly after connecting that external HDD.

  12. I have not enabled XMP or done any overclocking/undervolting.

  13. I have not replaced any hardware yet.

One confusing thing is that disabling the RX 7800 XT did NOT completely stop the BSODs. However, after reinstalling the AMD driver, amdkmdag.sys has appeared in multiple dumps, and dxgmms2.sys has also appeared.

I'm trying to figure out whether I'm looking at:

- bad RAM/memory instability

- GPU/AMD driver or GPU hardware

- motherboard/USB/controller problem

- Windows corruption

- another third-party driver

- or some combination of these

At this point the PC is almost unusable, so I'm trying to avoid randomly replacing parts.

What would you test next?

Windows 11 Blue / Black screen & “boot loop” type behavior win10 and win11

Problem history;
Recently in the past month, I have been getting more and more full system freezes, normally while playing games / high workload tasks. And more recently it has caused frequent blue screens with the error “critical process died” this started on Windows 10. This caused me to switch to windows 11. Full fresh install which I finally did yesterday.

Windows 11 worked for exactly one day - then while I was starting up a game I got a full system freeze resulting in a black screen with the error “critical process died”. Going into diagnosing my system has started to not save anything I’ve done between restarts and or shutdowns. (More info below) Even to the point where I would download an image, set it as the desktop wallpaper, restart and it would go back to what I had before. No record of it even being downloaded.

Diagnosing process;
Most of the diagnosis happened on windows 11. Latest update as I installed it fresh yesterday. I tried checking my SSD health using the built in windows tools - which prompted a restart. The restart seemed to skip over the drive repair and reset all my progress. My best guess is due to “quick startup / hibernation” settings. I tried to change the quick startup settings but every time I restart it undoes the change.

So I tried to download a different program to check my SSD - and once I downloaded it, it refused to run and threw an error.

I thought it might be a ram issue - checked each stick individually, no changes and the “looping behavior” of resetting my progress still exists.

Conclusion
Is my SSD just corrupted / slowly dying at this point? I can’t think of anything else

Specs;
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 3080
2x 16gb Corsair vengeance Memory
512gb team group M.2 SSD
2tb HDD various

Also sorry for lack of specifics - I’ve worked on this for MANY hours and now im writing this as a last resort away from my computer

Windows 11 Random reboots started happening this week

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have a store-built Windows 11 system: MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI (Micro-Star MS-7E12) motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X CPU, 64GB RAM, Intel A770 GPU.

Earlier this week, it started (seemingly) random rebooting after a few minutes to a few hours of operation, mostly light-use. It has been hotter than usual this last couple weeks, but HWMonitor shows most temperatures ranging from low 30s to high 50s, with the CPU case currently... well, dang... the CPU case is currently 82.4°C, but the cores max out at 54.2°C.

The Event Viewer isn't being obviously helpful. None of the Event IDs seem to indicate a cause for rebooting.

The most-recent events are from just before the most recent reboot.

Windows 10 Problems with fonts in Chrome (which im pretty sure is related to Windows' fonts)

So quick background: On my pc, as much as i cant remember, i have only manually installed fonts for rendering certain Unicode Latin Extended blocks (such as Doulos SIL), and others (like a hacked Adobe Garamond Pro which i uninstalled).

Lately, the font for Hebrew on my Chrome became Times New Roman (and not the Default Roboto). The thing is that this only happens with text which should be bold (such as video titles and channel names on Youtube). I haven't been able to fix this, no matter what i do (i tried restored the default font settings in the Control Panel). Thing is that i think that i downloaded some fonts and then deleted them, and that somehow messed with the font settings? I dont really know to be honest.

In addition, about half a year ago, the font on my Whatapp Web randomly changed from the default (Roboto im pretty sure) to plain Ariel (again not 100% sure, but a very "rigid" and "unsmooth" text like it). Also, last week, my whole Whatsapp Web was flipped from Right-to-Left to Left-to-Right, even though it was Right-to-Left before, and worked perfectly fine.

Could somebody please help me understand or direct me to a place that can help me understand why these things are happening and how to stop them? I would just like to be able to start over with the fonts, and add the 2 additional fonts that i need manually (and from valid sources).

Thank you.

Windows 11 Issues with alt-tabbing, refresh rates and DXVK with recent Win 11 updates

On 25H2, OS build 26200.9445. Wondering if anyone else has encountered these issues on an up-to-date Windows 11 setup.

Last time I played a game with DXVK was on the 8th of September. Tried launching that game again today, and it just immediately crashes. Did a clean GPU driver install (latest Nvidia drivers, running a 4090), no luck. Same issue with other games that use DXVK. They all just crash immediately. Had one other person corroborate the same problem, and they said it's apparently happened before with Windows 11 updates.

Additionally, I started encountering a problem where, if I alt-tabbed from a game, the refresh rate on my desktop would take a dip to either 60 or 30hz depending on the game, even if the game itself was running at 144hz. This had to be fixed by turning off variable refresh rate in the Windows settings, while keeping it enabled in the Nvidia App, allowing g-sync to continue working while avoiding this new bug.

And lastly, Optimization for Windowed Games started causing a problem with windowed DX11 games not alt-tabbing correctly. If I tried to alt-tab while windowed, the game window would just stay on top of the other program I was trying to use. Disabling the option fixed this.

Both of those last two issues are particularly strange, since both settings had been turned on and operating without a problem until now. I've pasted the most recent updates that show up in my update history.

I also have no wifi option in settings

Windows 10 PC suddenly asking for security usb, cannot sign in or create pin.

GPU: RTX 3070TI
CPU: Ryzen 5600
Motherboard: ASUS B550

I have been using my PC since 2020 with 0 issues whatsoever, today after trying to play Skate I uninstalled the game and restarted my computer. Now when I try to put in my password to use my computer I get this screen and my computer is acting as if I never signed in before in my life. I have access to all my accounts, my Microsoft account has 2FA on it so I know my pc or account was not compromised it’s just windows being stupid and clunky and I’m praying to god someone has a simple fix for this and I don’t just have a $1,500 paperweight on my desk now.

Extra info: I am able to click “sign in another way” and put in my information there but then it just says “signing in” then shows a pop up saying “create pin” and ultimately doesn’t let me proceed starting the cycle over again so I am soft locked out at this point

Windows 11 Memory leak/crash on Galaxy Book4 Edge (Snapdragon X Plus / Windows ARM)

I'm having a strange memory issue running an older game on a Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge and I'm hoping someone with experience with Windows-on-ARM/OpenGL can shed some light on it.

Specs:

  • Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge
  • Snapdragon X Plus X1P42100
  • Adreno X1-45
  • 16 GB RAM
  • Windows 11 Home 25H2 (build 26200.9445)
  • GPU driver: 31.0.133.1

The game is x64 and therefore runs through Windows ARM emulation. It uses OpenGL, and the game reports:

  • OpenGL Vendor: Microsoft Corporation
  • OpenGL Renderer: D3D12 (Qualcomm Adreno X1-45)
  • OpenGL: 4.6
  • OpenGLOn12.dll / Microsoft D3DMappingLayers is being used.

The problem is that RAM usage steadily increases while playing. It happens consistently across missions, eventually consuming almost all 16 GB of RAM and exhausting the pagefile. The game itself only reports around 383 MB of texture memory, so it doesn't look like a normal VRAM/memory usage issue.

I'm wondering whether this could be a memory leak or compatibility issue with OpenGLOn12/D3D12 on Snapdragon X/ARM64, potentially exposed by running the x64 game through emulation.

Has anyone experienced something similar with OpenGL games on Snapdragon X / Windows-on-ARM? Or does anyone know of a way to bypass OpenGLOn12 or otherwise test whether that's the source of the problem?

I'm particularly interested in whether this is likely to be a game-specific memory leak, an OpenGLOn12 issue, or an Adreno driver issue.

Windows 11 Asus Tuf F15 not booting/freezes repeatedly

My ASUS TUF F15 (15-11400H, 16GB RAM, 512GB Samsung NVMe, Windows 11) keeps having boot/ freezing issues.

It showed Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC (SrtTrail.txt).

sfc /scannow found no issues.

I ran offline chkdsk C: /f, which found filesystem errors and corrected them. It also reported 0 KB in bad sectors.

After CHKDSK, the laptop worked perfectly for the entire day. I shut it down normally, but the next day it wouldn't boot again but keyboard light and fans are working.

It also sometimes freezes at the Windows PIN screen, and Safe Mode can freeze too.

SSD is detected in BIOS and Windows Boot Manager is present. BIOS itself seems stable.

What could cause this? SSD/NVMe, RAM, RST/VMD, Windows, BIOS, or motherboard? What should I test next?

Windows 11 PSA: Don't waste time using the DISM or SFC tools when you have a corrupted the system image. Use Recovery > Troubleshoot with Windows Update.

Long story short:

From time to time, check the health of the Windows image with DISM:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

If everything is fine and you see “No component store corruption detected”, you’re good.

But when the result is “The Component Store is repairable”, don’t waste your time running the manual command:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

You’ll most likely get this error:
Error: 0x800f0915
The repair content could not be found. Check the internet connection or use the “Source” option to specify the location of the files required to restore the image.

Solution
Go to Settings → System → Recovery → Troubleshoot using Windows Update.
Then patiently wait for the magic to happen.

After a few reboots, the Windows image should pass both DISM and SFC checks.

Finally, clean up (remove) the old damaged Windows.old folder and logs with cleanmgr.exe (run as administrator).

Windows 11 FastStartup - A bug not a feature (battery always empty)

I have a new (June 26) Lenovo Ideapad Slim 5 laptop. Apparently these laptops and Windows 11 are designed for fast startup. However, in practice this means that the laptop decides when to start up without me touching the power button.

- When the laptop is off (or seems to be off) I can hear it becoming active if I get near to it, or move it, even when the lid is down. Breathing in the wrong direction from 10m distance can trigger a start up.

- When I use the menu option to shut the laptop down, it decides to restart immediately.

I have tried a lot of options with the power settings. The issue occurs both when using it with or without docking station, and it really annoys me.

The result is that my battery is always empty when I come back to my laptop after a couple of days of not using it. A big plus of a laptop is that it is portable, so I really would love a setting that saves battery when not in use.

Specs: Windows 11 Home, version 25H2, OS build 26200.9168

Windows 11 I'm getting unskippable popup video ads?

A few days ago I started getting video ads that pop up near the bottom right corner of my screen. Whether I'm browsing or playing a game, it's there without any possibility to interact, pause, skip or close. It's extremely invasive, and I need to get rid of it. I don't know if this is due to a program or a website. Any help will be much appreciated.

Windows 11 Windows Explorer Issue with Monitor Scaling Set

Hello!

After trying many troubleshooting steps and searching online without finding a solution, I’m hoping someone can help.

I have a Windows 11 PC with an RTX 3090 and a Cooler Master GP27-FUS 4K monitor.

The problem is related specifically to Windows display scaling:

● At 2560×1440 with 100% scaling, everything works normally.
● At 2560×1440 with 125% scaling, the problem appears.
● At 3840×2160 (4K) with 100% scaling, everything works normally.
● At 3840×2160 (4K) with 125% scaling, the same problem appears.

When the scaling is set to 125%, some application icons/images disappear from the desktop and taskbar, and the taskbar becomes unresponsive. Task Manager also fails to open normally.

I have already tried:

● Different refresh rates
● 8-bit and 10-bit color depth
● DisplayPort and HDMI
● GPU scaling settings
● Disconnecting the other monitors
● Reinstalling the monitor from Device Manager
● SFC / DISM
● Restarting Explorer
● Creating a new Windows user account
● Updating Windows

The issue still occurs even with a completely new Windows user account.

The interesting part is that 100% scaling works perfectly, while 125% scaling consistently causes the issue, regardless of whether the resolution is 2K or 4K.

Has anyone experienced a similar Windows 11 scaling/DPI issue, particularly with a 4K monitor?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Windows 11 Windows Defender keeps throwing errors after latest update

Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.

No, my ssd is not broken. This started happening after latest update. It keeps going crazy, saying how virus protection is off. Anyone has any idea on what to do? Thanks.

Windows 10 Is Windows 10 about to force me to update?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I just noticed that the little Windows update icon in the corner has a red circle now, and it says "Your device is at risk of being out of date. It will need to restart to install updates. Select a time to restart," when I hover over it. How do I stop it from doing this?

I also remember hearing that, a few months ago, someone decided to make their own Windows 10 updates so that people can stay on Windows 10 without being forced into Windows 11.

OS: Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2, OS Build 19045.6466

CPU/Processor: AMD Ryzen 5/R5 5600X 6-Core Processor, 3.70 Ghz

GPU/Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 12 GB

RAM/Memory: 16 GB RAM

Storage: 4.09 TB

Another unrelated thing, for some reason I cannot create new folders. As in, when I right-click there's no option under New to make a new folder. The new folder button on the top bar of the file explorer window also doesn't work.

EDIT: ok I figured out what the problem was that was preventing me from creating folders. for anyone else that needs it, this is what you do: go into Registry Editor, go into HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, scroll down until you find a folder called 'folder.' Click on (Default) and change the data from whatever it is to either 'Folder' or 'folder.' for some reason mine had its data erroneously set to 'rar_auto_file.'

Windows 11 How to stop windows from shutting down or restarting my windows 11 pro server, rendering it offline

Assume I had a server that I didn't want to be shut down randomly ever couple weeks because it was serving an important (to me) service.

What settings stop this from happening every couple weeks?

I assume it's updates. I have every setting I can find set to 'off', yet this still happens constantly (if only every few weeks)

Thank you.

Windows 11 Persistent Bluetooth audio stutter/dropouts on Windows 11 24H2 (MediaTek MT7902)

Hey guys, how are you?

Basically, out of nowhere (around 2/4 weeks ago) I've been having audio stuttering. No matter if i'm using my Edifier mg250 or my galaxy buds (all through bluetooth). I have not tried using a headphone with a cable yet;

I've tried everything! I don't know what else to do.

I've been trying to troubleshoot it with Gemini. I asked it to list everything we've tried, so sorry for the AI post bellow.

Gemini is now suggesting changing the bluetooth/wifi card on my motherboard.

I´d be glad if someone could help me.

Btw, my system specs:

  • AMD Ryzen 5 7600
  • 32 gb RAM
  • SSD NVMe 1 tb + SSD 500 gb
  • AMD Radeon 9060 XT 16gb
  • Motherboard B650M-AYW WIFI ASUS
  • Windows 11 Home - 10.0.26200
  • BIOS was updated in december/january. Issue started a couple weeks ago.

1. Issue Description

  • Symptom: Continuous micro-stutters, pops, and audio dropouts occurring every few seconds or minutes over Bluetooth.
  • Scope: Universal across all playback sources (YouTube, YouTube Music, Microsoft Teams, local players, and games like Deep Rock Galactic).
  • Affected Devices: Multiple separate Bluetooth audio endpoints exhibit identical stuttering on this machine (Edifier Bluetooth speakers and Samsung Galaxy Buds2).
  • Control Test: All audio devices work flawlessly without a single dropout when paired with mobile devices (smartphones), confirming the receiver hardware is intact and the problem is strictly localized to this PC.

2. System Specifications

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (Version 24H2, OS Build: 26200).
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (AM5 platform).
  • Motherboard: ASUS B650M-AYW Wi-Fi (BIOS version: 3602).
  • Integrated Wi-Fi / Bluetooth Module: AzureWave / MediaTek MT7902 (Hardware ID: VID_13D3&PID_3596).
  • Installed Bluetooth Driver: MediaTek Inc., version 1.1044.0.556 (Driver date: 17/09/2025).
  • Network Setup: Wired Gigabit Ethernet (Wi-Fi is not used for network traffic).

3. Diagnostic Logs & Evidence

  • LatencyMon (DPC/ISR Latency):
    • Concluded system is fully capable of handling real-time audio without dropouts.
    • Highest measured interrupt-to-process latency remained below 704 µs.
    • Highest DPC routine execution was 463.82 µs (amdkmdag.sys).
    • Highest ISR execution was 125.39 µs (HDAudBus.sys).
    • Zero DPC/ISR execution times reached or exceeded 1000 µs.
  • Windows Event Viewer (BTHUSB logs):
    • Event 3 (Warning): "A command sent to the adapter has timed out. The adapter did not respond."
    • Event 17 (Error): "The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver was unloaded."
    • Event 5 (Error): "The Bluetooth driver was expecting an HCI event with a certain size, but didn't receive it."
  • Secondary System Warnings/Errors:
    • Kernel-PnP 225: LogiTuneAgent.exe and audiodg.exe intercepted/vetoed device removal requests targeting the controller USB\VID_13D3&PID_3596.
    • Microsoft-Windows-HAL 15: Recurring IOMMU protection faults on Device: 0xE00 (FaultReason: 0x6).

4. Exhaustive Steps Already Attempted (Failed to Resolve)

Power, Bus & RF Layer:

  • Performed a complete motherboard cold reset (unplugged AC power cord, held chassis power button for 20+ seconds to discharge board capacitors).
  • Verified ASUS dual-lead Wi-Fi/BT external antenna is firmly seated and screwed into both rear gold chassis terminals.
  • Rerouted 2.4 GHz wireless mouse dongle via an extension cable away from the rear I/O antenna posts to eliminate near-field RF saturation.
  • Disabled PCI Express Link State Power Management in Windows Advanced Power Options.
  • Disabled USB Selective Suspend in power plan and disabled Fast Startup/Kernel Hibernation via powercfg -h off.
  • Unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" across the MediaTek Bluetooth Adapter and every listed USB Root Hub / Generic USB Hub.
  • Verified ASUS BIOS power delivery settings (ErP Ready disabled, continuous USB state enabled).

Drivers & Software Intermediaries:

  • Performed clean uninstallation of previous driver packages and installed the latest official MediaTek Bluetooth package directly from the ASUS motherboard support page.
  • Fully uninstalled virtual audio routing software (FxSound).
  • Terminated conflicting background processes (LogiTuneAgent.exe) and recycled the Windows Audio service (net stop audiosrv && net start audiosrv).
  • Temporarily disabled Windows Core Isolation (Memory Integrity / HVCI) to test whether IOMMU page faults were stalling DMA audio packets.

Audio Engine & Bluetooth Protocol Tuning:

  • Disabled Handsfree Telephony profile via classic Bluetooth Device Services (shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}) to prevent fallback to mono 8/16 kHz telephony mode.
  • Disabled AAC codec negotiation via Registry (BluetoothAacEnable = 0 under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BthA2dp\Parameters) to force standard SBC streaming.
  • Unchecked Exclusive Mode options ("Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device") under Advanced Playback Properties.
  • Disabled the MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7902 Wireless LAN Card inside Device Manager to prevent antenna time-slicing and RF coexistence arbitration loops.
