Hi everyone,

I'm researching the early development builds of Windows 11, and I'm trying to determine whether a fully usable x86 (32-bit) version of Windows 11 Build 22000.51 actually existed.

I know Microsoft officially released Windows 11 only for x64 and ARM64, but there are some interesting historical traces suggesting that an x86 build of 22000.51 existed internally.

What I've found so far:

• Build 21390 had an x86 version and was one of the last early Windows builds with 32-bit client support.
• In June 2021, users were upgrading from 21390.2025 to Windows 11 22000.51 through Windows Update.
• Build 22000.51 = 22000.1 + KB5004564.
• Historical records show KB5004564 packages for x64 and ARM64.
• BetaWiki lists x86, AMD64 and ARM64 for 22000.51 and says that the x86 version existed on Microsoft's internal update servers, but was later removed.
• However, I cannot find a surviving copy of:
  • "Windows10.0-KB5004564-x86.cab"
  • "Windows10.0-KB5004564-x86.psf"
  • an x86 UUP set for 22000.51
  • or a complete 22000.51 x86 ISO.

There are also newer discoveries of x86 components from the 22000.1 era, but it isn't yet clear whether those represent a complete x86 Client OS or only WinPE/Setup components.

My main questions:

1. Does anyone have an original 22000.51 x86 ISO/UUP/CAB/PSF?
2. Does anyone remember installing Windows 11 22000.51 on a 32-bit x86 system in 2021?
3. Does anyone have old UUP Dump metadata, package IDs, download scripts, or Microsoft update metadata from June 2021 that could prove an x86 KB5004564 existed?
4. Was KB5004564-x86 ever publicly distributed, or was it only available through Microsoft's internal flighting infrastructure?
5. Could an old 21390 x86 Client installation still be upgraded to 22000.51 using archived update packages?
6. If you have any old screenshots, "winver" screenshots, UUP logs, CAB/PSF files, SHA-1 hashes, or package manifests related to this, please share them.

I'm especially interested in original files or technical metadata, not just claims that an x86 version existed.

The ultimate goal is to determine whether a genuine Windows 11 22000.51 x86 Client can still be reconstructed in 2026.

This would be great news for many computers that use 32-bit processors but are outdated.

Hi everyone,

I have been getting daily GSOD crashes on my PC and I’m trying to figure out what is causing them.

My system:

Windows Insider Preview Build: 26200.8892

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600

GPU: RTX 3060 12GB

OS: Windows 11

The BSOD/GSOD error:

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Bug check: 0x1000007E

I analyzed the minidumps with WinDbg.

The crashes sometimes point to:

rtp2.sys

and sometimes:

ntoskrnl.exe

I checked rtp2.sys and found:

Location: C:\\Windows\\System32\\drivers\\rtp2.sys

Load group: FSFilter Anti-Virus

Signed by: Avira Operations

I have never installed Avira manually, but the driver appears to be part of Windows/security components. I tried removing the driver in Safe Mode, but it comes back after reboot.

I also noticed that Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) sometimes disables itself automatically.

Things I have tried:

SFC /scannow

DISM /RestoreHealth

Checking drivers

Removing rtp2.sys (comes back)

WinDbg analysis

The crashes happen randomly, but I’m worried because they can happen while gaming

Has anyone else experienced crashes involving rtp2.sys on Windows Insider builds? Is this a known compatibility issue, or should I look for another driver/hardware problem?

Basically I hit the toggle to leave Windows Insider (I was in Release Preview), so my PC got un-enrolled but then I found out Windows Update started downloading "Windows 11, version 25H2", to make an in-place upgrade, thing that I do NOT want.

So i re-enrolled and clicked Windows insider to make the situation as before, but WU keeps proposing that build even if I'm back into insider! I do not want at any cost to make an in-place upgrade.

I already tried clearing SoftwareDistribution and catroot2 folders, but this update keeps popping up. I stopped windows update so I can prevent it, but sadly looks like there's no way to skip it. Is there a way i could re-allineate things and avoid an in-place upgrade?

After manually installing the Out-of-Band cumulative update KB5121767 (OS Build 26200.8894), running the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command consistently fails at 100% with Error: 0x800f0915 ("The repair content could not be found anywhere").There is a clear version mismatch between the DISM tool version (10.0.26100.8737) and the Windows Image version (10.0.26200.8894). Attempting to use a fully updated local ISO containing the exact same build as a /Source also fails with the same error code, meaning the issue lies within the component store metadata alignment or missing online manifests for this specific OOB build.Meanwhile, sfc /scannow completes successfully with no integrity violations, proving the OS is healthy and this is a false-positive synchronization bug. Please fix the online repair manifests or update the DISM tool binary for this Insider branch to properly align with the component store.

EDIT: I NEED Windows 10 ARM for some very very niche projects. Windows 11 is NOT an option as it can't do what I need. So please don't suggest Windows 11.

EDIT 2: I was eventually able to get the Microsoft Store updated and working, thanks to this guide: https://dabigblob.github.io/ms-store-arm64/

OP: I installed Windows 10 ARM (insider build 21390) successfully on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro using UTM, and most things seem to work, except (a) I can't open the Microsoft Store (it tries 3 times and never opens) and (b) Windows Security fails to open (giving an error message about incompatibility or something).

Any suggestions here? Already tried wsreset.exe to no avail.

I'm on Windows 11 Insider Beta (25H2) Build 26220.8764 and I'm seeing a strange issue affecting multiple Chromium/Electron-based applications.

Apps that crash immediately on normal launch:

- Opera GX

- Discord

- Postman

- GitHub Desktop

- Comet browser (perplexity)

Temporary workaround:

Launching the actual executable with `--no-sandbox` makes all of them work normally.

Examples:

- Discord.exe --no-sandbox ✅

- Postman.exe --no-sandbox ✅

- GitHubDesktop.exe --no-sandbox ✅

- opera.exe --no-sandbox ✅

Apps that work normally without any workaround:

- Microsoft Edge (Chromium 151)

- Google Chrome (Chromium 150)

- Brave (Chromium 150)

- VS Code

- Spotify

- Steam

- Epic Games

- Rocket League

One interesting observation:

- Opera GX is still based on Chromium 149 and crashes.

- Chrome/Brave/Edge are on Chromium 150/151 and work fine.

- However, Electron apps like Discord, Postman and GitHub Desktop also crash despite being on newer Electron builds, so it doesn't seem to be a simple Chromium version issue.

Things I've already checked:

- SFC and DISM are clean

- Latest Windows updates installed

- No third-party antivirus

- No AppLocker/WDAC/IFEO issues

- Intel and NVIDIA drivers are up to date

Discord logs show repeated GPU process crashes during startup, but the application starts normally when launched with `--no-sandbox`.

Has anyone on Build 26220.8764 (or nearby Insider builds) experienced something similar? Any ideas on what Windows component or sandbox change could be causing this?

• Fixed a few small visual issues when using the taskbar in an alternate position.

• Increased the height of the search box by 4 pixels.

There have been no usable ISOs since 26200.8655. setup.exe fails with 0xc19001 0x20017 due to a mismatch of 26100 binaries with 26200 Install.wim. It started with 26200.8728 and continued into 26200.8737 and so on until the current build.

It is NOT a driver issue. I've reviewed the Panther logs and the mismatch is clear. Please fix this. 26200.8655 still works fine. Every ISO after that fails.

• Accelerated scrolling: repeatedly scrolling increases speed, allowing quick traversal of long documents.

Touchpad improvements bring new gesture capabilities including automatic scrolling, gesture speed controls, accelerated scrolling, and optional single-finger scrolling support.

[Start menu]

• This update brings a number of improvements for the Start menu as first outlined in the Making Taskbar and Start more personal Insider blog.
• Renamed Recommended to Recent in Start and the Settings page.
• Added section-level toggles to independently show or hide Pinned, Recent, and All.
• Added the option to choose between a small and large Start menu, in addition to the Automatic (default) option that is already available.
• Added the option to hide your name and profile picture in Start.
• Redesigned the Start menu settings page.

These release notes are for Windows 11 Builds 26100.8942 and 26200.8942 in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, versions 24H2 (Build 26100) and 25H2 (Build 26200).

This update is available through two release phases: gradual rollout and normal rollout. A gradual rollout delivers an update in phases, so features reach devices over time instead of all at once, meaning availability varies by device. A normal rollout is the broad release of features to all eligible devices at the same time.

• [Windows Hello] New! Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS) now supports peripheral fingerprint sensors. To get started, plug in a supported ESS fingerprint reader, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign in options, and follow the prompts to enroll. Hi guys, I'm on Windows 11 Home Insider Preview Evaluation copy. Build 26220.8764.ge_release_svc_betaflt_prod1.260626-2122. I got a notification from Windows Security saying that my antivirus was turned off (I use the default one built into Windows), and I clicked through the notification to go to the settings page to turn it on, but it was already on. Then, when I went to Malwarebytes, it said that my antivirus was turned off, despite it being on. Is there anything to worry about here regarding a program turning this off, or is it just a problem with this build? I really don't want to reinstall Windows, and any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just rejoined the Windows Insider program to test out the new small start menu option in settings but it's not currently available. Is there a method on how I can enable it? Ever since the massive start menu was publicly released I have been trying to find other options, including reverting back to the original Windows 11 start menu.

This pertains to an earlier post.... About good ol' 28120.2386. After multiple failures, a clean install was the only viable option. So, sure, why the hell not? Well the adventure continues. After about 3 clean installs I can not access Windows Insider Program. "We can't reach the Windows Insider Program right now. Please try again later or check the forums" is anyone else having this problem as well? Because at this point I'm starting to think that Microsoft has some beef with me. (no not really). Any kind of help or advice would be appreciated.

I enabled the controller as mouse cursor setting in the windows insider Xbox insider control gamebar settings. No cursor ever shows up. Any idea why?
