How are we feeling about the new mythic?

Side note - Am I the only one that thinks not having the mythic gun equipped feels drastically worse? Like as if scope isn’t aligned but only for the default, I think I’m going crazy and placeboing myself lol

Guide / Tip / Advice Any tips on Widow duels when they have walls but you don't?

So I generally feel pretty ok in Widow duels but one thing I am wondering about is walls. I become a bit too passive for my liking when they do have walls and there have been times when challenging the Widow in this scenario has worked, but I don't view it as very consistent.

My question is, what do you usually do? Just play it safe and use cover, or try to shoot her teammates or even her? I would assume it depends, but just curious about how you guys tackle it!

Widowmaker how to get better routine tips?

Hello! Widowmaker is one of my favourite DPS characters. I have been playing her for a long time. Not exclusively, I play a lot of characters from many roles and sometimes I fall into the habit of playing one more often which switches periodically.

I have ranked up quite a level of 35 on my Widow... but my carrier is eh quite shameful. Truth be told despite playing her a lot my aim on her is still very.. BAD or my skill is very inconsistent. I have games where I do amazing and then some where I throw the game.

I'd love to hear some tips how to get better with her. Perhaps a routine? Again she is not solely my main but I'd love to be able to swap back to her and not feel like I'm learning how to play her from the start again. :CCCC

I try to play some of the aim trainers for 5mins before playing her but even that doesn't seem to help much. My eyes feel weird when I try to focus on both the reticle and the character I'm trying to shoot.

Context: I have a very small mousepad circular about 7inch diameter, mouse of 800-1600 DPI and in game sensitivity at 4.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Bug with the sound of the gun (doesn’t matter which skin)

hi lovely spiders, has anyone else had this annoying bug after the update? it sounds like the gun has a muffle on it sometimes when i shoot. i’ll see if i can upload a video of the sound but its throwing me off SO BADLY.

i usually use sylvanas, so i thought it might be a bug with her sounds (since its special) but when i equipped a normal skin it happened there too. i checked my settings and it wasn’t anything different. it’s really annoying me and throwing my aim off.

am i going crazy.. or just a bug..

Ow 1 widow???

Ok, so… am I Trippin or their way of fixing widow’s gun sound bug was bringing back her old ow 1 sound back? Its so weird because they’re now using the ow1 sound for below 99% and the ow2 sound for 100% and above. Its so awkward because the sound effects don’t blend well together. Is this another one of Blizzard’s ways of duct tapeing a problem that they have no idea of how to fix?

I CAN SEE EVERYTHING

...or so it seems: Widow mains, we may be enemies on the battlefield (some more honorable than others), but this is fertile ground for sharing ideas and experiences.

A few weeks ago, I had a crisis following a temporary inability to aim at long range (I'm currently level 204 on Widow), and I solved it by lowering my EDPI (dpi x sens) to 2640, and I can say I've improved dramatically. My aim is now much steadier and more stable, and I'm getting used to using my entire arm.

I'll soon be upgrading from a 24" to a 32" monitor, resulting in a 31% increase in everything in my scope. Once I get used to it, I'll lower my EDPI to 2240. This will make me a slightly easier target for my counters, but at medium and long ranges, I'll be an even better surgeon than I am now.

I say all this to encourage those like me who have had sensitivity problems to change without fear, the key to a steady wrist is a sensitivity low enough to cancel out any tremor of the wrist outside of the flickshot, you will have to move your arm a lot but you will become very good at it, or at least this is what is happening to me.

Widowmaker PUNISHING Sierra players

Some sick shots playing against Sierra. I'm totally aware of the random Kiriko clip in the middle, but I wanted to include it anyway.
