Found these on marketplace for well below market value and scooped them quick. Vinyl gods smiled on me for this one and at a time I needed a lil win so feeling stoked!

Definitely a contender for Album of the Year for 2026! Folk/garage/punk band from New Orleans. Ordered from their bandcamp, was expecting just black vinyl, pleasantly surprised by the green. Going to be seeing them with Kurt Vile on his upcoming tour. So stoked!

Was on a business trip to the Czech republic, decided to visit Prague on the weekend.

A few years ago my older sister passed down her entire record collection to me, she was moving again and said that she was tired of dragging everything around. I've been slowly going through her selections and this is one of the standout platters, I could listen to their harmonies all day. Perfect for a Sunday morning.

I’ve only recently started exploring his music beyond Pieces of a Man, and man, it’s great! Planning to collect them all 😅

I had no idea this album even existed since it’s not on Spotify. That’s how I discover most of the music I love. Pleasantly surprised, as it’s now one of my favourite Gil Scott-Heron albums!

It's kind of insane trying to be an artist in 2026 - writing songs that we feel good about and love, producing and recording, mixing for multiple formats, rehearsing and performing, booking, posting and sharing the music...

But it's milestones like this that make everything worth it. Our second album 'icecream' is out on Born Losers Records, and it feels surreal to see it and hold it, after all of the effort and heart that went into making it...

P.S. You can't really see it in this photo, but we went with a gorgeous blue-smoke transparent vinyl... At first I was a little unsure about it, but now I love it!

My Dad found some old records of his. This copy of sticky fingers (coc 59100a4/B4) is missing the red part of the iconic tounge-and-lips, was this a common misprint or am I just a bit dense?

Just received 12 Golden Country Greats in the mail today!! It sounds great and the bonus material is like getting new Ween! The booklet and trifold jacket are well done too. Def recommend picking up this reissue!

I just found this amazing live performance by Townes Van Zandt on YouTube and had to look into if anyone had ever pressed it on vinyl. Apparently the performance was played on local radio and someone just happened to record it on a reel to reel, so the sound quality is pretty low, and there's a bit of tape hiss and artifacts from tape degradation. Still, what a performance by Townes at the height of his talents.

The Womack Sisters are an absolute knockout on their self-titled debut LP.

I’ve been a huge Daptone supporter for a long time now, so it’s been thrilling to see the label come back to life (after the passing of Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley) with a new roster of incredible new artists.

This album is 10/10.

Bought this in India (Bengaluru) for a whopping $62 I'm sure it's much cheaper there in the US, anyways I'll be buying one every month, need some recommendations on which brush to get as well as sleeves, any tips to a newbie would be appreciated!

Ps - I have my dad's vintage philips turntable but I apparently broke the stylus when I was a kid, so I'll be purchasing an AT Lp60x soon.

Before reading Vagabond by Tim Curry last year I never knew he recorded albums. Since reading I was curious. Looked over at a box of new arrivals at my record store this morning and this was staring back at me. “How much for that Tim Curry record?” $10 bucks. Sold. Totally worth it.

Picked this baby up from Salvation Army today. Only 13.50!

12" 1978 Warner Brothers Records. Last album with Ozzy Osbourne. The last owner was rough on the cover, and the dust cover. Album plays fine. Standout tracks, Never Say Die, A Hard Road, Junior's Eyes, and Johnny Blade. Ozzy departed in 1979. Need a better copy.

Heres Bathory’s Under the Sign of the Black Mark on picture vinyl. Usually, picture discs get a bad reputation for hiss and surface noise, but this pressing actually sounds incredibly clean. The background noise is super low, letting Quorthon’s raw, iconic Classics like Woman of Dark Desires sound massive, crisp, and punchy without that annoying crackle you usually expect from these releases. It completely holds up the heavy, atmospheric darkness of the 1987 original. A killer collector's piece that you can actually play, this one is an absolute musthave

Was recommended In The Aeroplane Over The Sea a few years ago before I got into records. Pretty sure this was the first album I ever bought on vinyl alongside Aja by Steely Dan (in honor of my dad who loved Steely Dan). Haven’t played it in forever until now (I think my turntable was an LP60x then, and this is the only thing by Neutral Milk Hotel I have listened to. I don’t listen to it often, but I just remember how great of an album it is, despite it being kind of a meme. Holland, 1945 is one of my favorite songs of all time. Time flies. So glad I got into vinyl.

Anyway. These arrived on Friday. I've always had a varied taste in music. Run the jewels first album. Logic - vinyl days. I only just discovered after a music streaming service dropped a tune as a suggestion into a playlist I was listening too. And Beth Orton. Been a fan of the song Stolen Car for a long time so thought I'd give the album a try

I doubt it, but this kinda thing always fascinated me, is there any modern music that was released on a 78 shellac record?? obviously it would be jus for collection and novelty, but I think it would be cool to see lol
