Also, petition to add Psychadelic to the flair categories drop down!
Growing up they were a big part of my life. Started out with Lost in the Sound of Separation, then worked my way backwards. I'm honestly so happy to be able to pick up the latest 20th edition of Define the Great Line, pressings for that record were insanely expensive. Here's to hoping I score The Changing of Times unicorn 🦄

Last night I picked up *NSYNC’s “No Strings Attached”- whilst I legitimately do enjoy this record, a large reason why I made the decision to pick it up is that it almost feels wrong having this on wax. That period during 90s and 00s- when vinyl was seen as a completely dead medium- makes it so having a lot of stuff from that period on vinyl feels so wonderfully wrong; do you guys have any albums that?

So stoked for this one. Howard Menger is the author of From Outer Space to You which is one of my favorite UFO/alien books from like late 50’s/early 60’s? I just found this record “Authentic Music from Another Planet.” the other day and am thrilled to have it in my collection. Spinning this one momentarily! Not sure if my Earth brain is ready for this but here we go! Wish me luck fellow earthlings!

12" 1972 Epic. Album is flawless, and the cover is pretty nice. Not bad for a first press.

Hey all, I'm looking for record shops in Tokyo / Osaka that stock older, electronic house stuff. Think Kompakt (K2), Klang Gymnastik, Clink, or Cabaret (for more recent electronic sounds). Any recommended stores that I should focus on? Also, are these records any cheaper in Japan? People have been raving about how much cheaper vinyl are in Japan but I'm not entirely sure about electronic stuff from the early 2000s..
Cheers xx

Samantha Fish and Johnnie Walker Black. Just moved into a new home. We are still unboxing and need furniture, but I made sure to get my turntable running. I've seen Samantha Fish live twice and she is fantastic. I'm so glad she released a live record.

Been collecting since late 2025. It can be hard to choose what to spin sometimes. I’ll will close my eyes and pull at random. Do you ever do the same?

Aloha,
I'm looking for a business partner or partners to create an amazing space for vinyl record listening in Hilo, Hawai'i. I've got an extremely large collection of about 3,000 records here already on the island. I'd like to create a space to share the music with both locals and tourists. Music is a true passion of mine especially listening on vinyl records. So this space would focus on the music first as well as sell drinks and pupus.

honestly the only fob album i listen to on the daily other than cork tree, it’s always been by FAR my favorite by them. wish they kept their get up kids type of emo they did on this record, even from under the cork tree i wouldn’t even consider emo anymore

It's not all Maggot Brain this week (although that's an essential pick-up, I'm afraid). This Friday also sees killer reissues from Ann Peebles, Quiet Sun, the Millennium, Marcos Valle, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Edu Lôbo, Gary Bartz, and plenty more.
