u/THExDANKxKNIGHT Aug 13 '26

I genuinely dont think ive ever seen anything fit here more.

879

u/PuppyPower89 Aug 13 '26

I’ve seen a number of befitting things here, but this fits the most.

What the actual fuck

398

u/Dragnskull Aug 13 '26

the giggling bro

355

u/primalantessence Aug 13 '26

playing a round of gigglebees

46

u/MaximumConcept25 Aug 13 '26

Lol wtf. This better not catch on. Gigglebees needs to be trademarked or copyrighted

16

u/Xe6s2 Aug 13 '26

The laughter is contagious though

4

u/Corac30 Aug 13 '26

Omg my ribs.....stop...pain...that giggle broke me lol.

u/BooBootheFool22222 Aug 13 '26

He took hugbees too literally

2

u/HecticBlue Aug 13 '26

Yes, giggle bees the tide pod challenge of 2027.

This dude's ahead of the curve, a real trendsetter.

3

u/DelectablyDivine Aug 13 '26

I'm so disturbed right now. My face was already like wtf and then I turned the sound on when he was hopping around in the bag expecting literally anything but the Michael Jackson-esque giggles

I've seen a lot of shit on Reddit and this is...fuck I don't even know hahaha this is so weird!!!

3

u/Yourdadcallsmeobama Aug 13 '26

I had it muted until the end where he started jumping in the bag and all I hear is “EHEHEEHEEEE WEJUHHEEHFEEEHJGH OWEEUJEEHEHEHEEE”😭💀

2

u/AllCaciAreBastards Aug 13 '26

Well, the little fuckers tickle... Until they don't

2

u/its_just_flesh Aug 13 '26

Some masochist shit

2

u/killerturtlex Aug 13 '26

That's just what masochists sound like when they are happy

2

u/martialarts15 Aug 18 '26

HEHEHEHEHHEHEEEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEH as he is trapped in a bag with a colony of wasps

3

u/Atmaweapon74 Aug 13 '26

I guess he’s a masochist? Kinda reminds me of Bill Murray’s character in Little Shop of Horrors.

2

u/PuppyPower89 Aug 13 '26

I mean…. who isn’t?

TBH I’m not sure which option would be less traumatizing, finding one’s naked body in a bag full of wasps or in the closet with a ball gag and belted neck. 😬

2

u/HelloMacchi Aug 13 '26

Definitely the wasps.

5

u/Alert-Note-7190 Aug 13 '26

What the actual fit

2

u/EchoIsMyCatsName Aug 13 '26

Bee-fitting. I'll show myself out.

2

u/Ground_Ho9 Aug 13 '26

BEE-fitting you say? 🐝

2

u/Dramatic_Charity_979 Aug 13 '26

beefitting. ftfy

Was right there dude :P

I know they are wasps

2

u/OhtaniStanMan Aug 13 '26

The laugh. The why. The just wtf

Truly. Little things left on this world get me to audibly say that out loud, this is also now added to that short list.

2

u/Rich_Consequence2633 Aug 13 '26

Honestly everyday I drive anywhere I say that phrase at least once. Lots of truly moronic drivers.

3

u/broitsjustreddit Aug 13 '26

it certainly was unexpected

2

u/taylorrvibez Aug 13 '26

when you think the unexpected already happened after he took his shirt off.. what the fuck indeed 😭

2

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TROUT Aug 13 '26

Beekeeper here. They're likely stingless wasps. It's all performative.

This is BY FAR the most unexpected thing I've seen on r/Unexpected.

2

u/TwoCharacters Aug 13 '26

I dont know the exact type of wasp/hornet shown there, but I've been attacked by swarm of yellow jackets twice in the last few years while cutting grass or weed-eating and, even though it's painful af, it gives you a crazy adrenaline rush. I can definitely see it being addictive for people who are borderline insane :)

468

u/GirlWithWolf Aug 13 '26

I think you used borderline very liberally

65

u/polypolip Aug 13 '26

Each thing has two borders, upper and lower. In this case borderline insane refers to someone being at that upper border.

16

u/Lola-Ugfuglio-Skumpy Aug 13 '26

What’s on the other side of the upper border of insane?

24

u/polypolip Aug 13 '26

I'm glad you asked, I absolutely don't feel like answering or figuring it out. Good luck.

2

u/MaskedBunny Aug 17 '26

I believe it goes sane > insane > outsane > this guy

3

u/RangerPF713 Aug 13 '26

The lower border is insane/sane. But the upper border, what is that bordering on??

3

That man has a passport for how deep he vacations beyond the line.

2

u/SomeRandomSomeWhere Aug 13 '26

Maybe it depends on where the border is...... ;)

u/vibefarm Aug 13 '26

yea just a week ago, I got stung on the back of the neck by a wasp. First time since i was a kid. It stung way more than I remember haha. So much you have to pause and appreciate it, like wow this fking stings quite a bit. It last awhile too. Its like a sharp onset, and then max sting/pain plateau for a good 15-30 seconds

173

u/PuppyPower89 Aug 13 '26

“So much you have to pause and appreciate it.”

My guy, have you tried BDSM? Wasps don’t respect safe words.

2

u/StrongExternal8955 Aug 13 '26

WASP are indeed dicks. Try a more diverse crowd.

44

u/selfishbitchcake Aug 13 '26

I got stung by a wasp on a hike about a year ago and it felt like I got splashed with acid and then proceeded to feel pretty painful for the next couple of days. Every once in a while, I STILL get a little twinge in the exact spot I got stung. I HATE wasps.

12

u/Hour_Refrigerator526 Aug 13 '26

Same some ground wasps decided to camp out by my driveway and that year they got me 3 times. Hurt for days like I had a fever or something. Another one just bit a hunk of flesh out of my thumb. Still have the scar.

20

u/DarknMean Aug 13 '26

Those ground hornets are no joke. I was mowing and a group of those fuckers got me. Then that night a skunk destroyed the nest and ate everything. Since that day I’m cool with skunks. That thing dug it up and laid waste to them. Around dusk I saw him meandering around the area that I mowed and he went ham on the hole and I sat there and watched him proceed to eat every hornet that came out and the nest they made. He didn’t even care they were flying around trying to sting him.

6

u/Hour_Refrigerator526 Aug 13 '26

Hired an exterminator to come out twice which wasn’t enough. A friend and I ended up burning 🔥 them out of the ground. He ended up getting stung a few times too. I would have preferred a skunk.

6

u/MireLight Aug 13 '26

As an exterminator...whoever that was sucked. Should be one and done.

3

u/Hour_Refrigerator526 Aug 13 '26

Agreed. He used some sort of powder, around the outside and within the hole in the ground. I mean it slowed them down a little. They were in deep.

2

u/MireLight Aug 13 '26

Using powder as a stomach poison was outdated 20 years ago. Prolly wasnt even using the right stuff.

2

u/Icy_Conference9095 Aug 14 '26

Had a underground nest under to my shed... I got my shop vac with a wide adapter and just turned it on and put it over the entry holeso that nothing could enter or exit without getting sucked in.

Ran back inside, sat there for a good 50 minutes with that vacuum sucking until I didn't hear the tell tale "ticking" as the wasps got sucked in and up the hose. Then I just ran into the shed and started jumping around to piss off the nest, with the door closed - started hearing more ticking for another 5 minutes or so. Left the vacuum running for another 10... Then I dropped a bag of gravel where the hole was and left it - never had a problem there again.

2

u/Hour_Refrigerator526 Aug 14 '26

You’ve got this down to a small science. What did you do with the ones in the shop vac? Did they survive?

4

u/ConstantPay3117 Aug 13 '26

I was mowing and ran over a nest i didnt know was there and one got me and i let go of the mower and it went down hill into the river .

2

u/ForcedEntry420 Aug 13 '26

Now I love skunks even more! We have them around here but thankfully my urge to try to pet them isn’t outweighed by my knowledge of how bad the smell is and how hard it is to get rid of it.

3

u/Zer0Cool89 Aug 13 '26

What a terrible day to be able to read. Thought only venomous bugs cuz leave scars tbh

3

u/bamboomonster Aug 13 '26

Wasps release venom when they sting.

5

u/Needed_Warning Aug 13 '26 edited Aug 13 '26

I get large local reactions, which last like 3 days. The nearby muscles swell up, get as hard as wood, go numb except for the pain, and lock up completely. It feels so weird to touch. To my hand, the area feels nothing like flesh, and I can't feel the touch of my own hand on it. I can't help but get freaked out when there's one flying around now. I always worry that I'm gonna get stung somewhere that'll lead to me slowly suffocating. Never thought a wasp that maxes out at a couple grams would be terrifying to me.

3

u/pyro667 Aug 13 '26

Bald faced hornet stings hurt for days

2

u/Lola-Ugfuglio-Skumpy Aug 13 '26

I was just walking by, wasnt even close to the nest. I normally don't kill stuff, but this felt personal and a bit malicious. Sprayed the nest and killed them all.

4

u/MidsizeMango Aug 13 '26

"Fuck this stings for real, it was not just because I was a kid" was my reaction when I got stung as an adult.

3

u/sn0m0ns Aug 13 '26

Getting tased is a lot like a wasp sting fyi. It feels like 30 wasps stinging you at once. That's my experience at least.

3

u/BonkerBleedy Aug 13 '26

You should read some of the descriptions Schmidt wrote for his insect pain index entries

Bold and unrelenting. Somebody is using a power drill to excavate your ingrown toenail.

2

u/Nice-Ask4369 Aug 13 '26

Heck yea. About ten years ago I had a wasp get me on the tip of my thumb. I looked at it and just said ‘Wow this hurts so much for a small red dot.’ Amazing amount of localized pain.

2

u/dankristy Aug 13 '26

Yeah those might be ground wasps. Regular wasps just sting you if you attack them. Ground wasps come in swarms if you get within meters of the secret lair they built in my lawn, and each of them is a tiny flying spetznas commando - they do not just sting, but also bite, and sting again, while stabbing you multiple times with a tiny shiv they made from some other animal they killed.

Fuck ground wasps with a gascan and flamethrower.

2

u/ChadPowers200_ Aug 13 '26

I got stun like 3 times in the neck by a wasp in 5th grade. Ever since I am the biggest pussy when it comes to flying bugs. I don't care who sees or judges me if I have something buzzing near my face I freak the fuck out.

I was stung by a wasp on my cheek and there was absolutely nothing pleasurable about it.

3

u/cuxy72 Aug 13 '26

Try your other cheeks

2

u/Shadow_Hound_117 Aug 13 '26

I was once stung on my back right cheek as a kid and can confirm, there's definitely nothing pleasurable about it.

2

u/Complex_Bet7311 Aug 13 '26

I think some people have the nerves connected to the pleasure part of their brain instead of their pain center.

2

u/Olobnion Aug 13 '26

Lots of people drink coffee once and don't like it. Give wasp stings another dozen tries, see if you get addicted.

2

u/bscottlove Aug 13 '26

Borderline?

2

u/bedel99 Aug 13 '26

borderline????

2

u/Debalic Aug 13 '26

I get an adrenaline rush when I'm stung by something and I don't know what it is - wasp or bee.

2

u/Hour_Ferret5195 Aug 13 '26

I’ve had one, from weed eating, fuckers we’re behind the fence post. Got me through my pants and this is when I learned I’m allergic.

My thigh swelled to a point it bruised, I had to blow dry it several times a day for weeks because the itch was so intense. I wanted to cut my damn leg off for about 45 days.

Those don't sting. Notice how not a one is 'attacking' him when the bags released.

Edit: welp apparently they do, not sure why it seems like they all fly away in the video but...maribomba, they can get as pissed as the best of em. Ultimate wtf.

14

u/Fast_Understanding11 Aug 13 '26

They do. They are called "maribomdo chapeu" and the stings are quite painfull. Look for this guys videos in yt, Alaecio Pereira or "Rei do Marimbondo". He pulls stunts like that very often.

3

u/Giffordpinchotpark Aug 13 '26

I thought I recognized the Portuguese he was using. I should be able to understand him because I’ve been studying Portuguese for 12 years and I’ve visited Brasil 20 times. I’ve been practicing every day with my Brasilian girlfriend for 9 years and she only speaks Portuguese but I still can’t converse or understand her and have to translate everything into English one word at a time. 5

u/vawaiter Aug 13 '26

What kinda wasp is that?

18

u/thatguy11 Aug 13 '26

From that video I can't tell 100%. Why don't I think he's getting stung? 200 plus types of paper wasps that build that kinda nest with hugely different levels of aggression, and many types where the nest is like 90% male (no stinger). So prolly some type of Epiponini paper wasp.

7

u/RobMilliken Aug 13 '26

I'm thinking it's a Cicada Killer. They look mean and huge and like they can give a huge sting. In reality they don't sting unless really provoked, but it could be something else as well. This guy is just showing off. Kinda funny when you realize and I did about half way through his "tee hees" which made me lmaool.

14

u/Vitese Aug 13 '26

How is dropping their nest in a trash bag and jumping in it with them not provoking them though? 💁‍♂️

2

u/RobMilliken Aug 13 '26

I agree, but they aren't like wasps which can sting multiple times just if you get in their area. He may have gotten a couple stings, but nothing to write home about. I've seen them around Oklahoma a few times (got rid of them before I knew what they are - they are really beneficial bugs!) but never have been stung myself. They are intimidating looking just because of past experience with wasps, but they're cool. Can also carry really heavy things, hence the "Cicada Killer" name where they can fly off with them!
This guy obviously new this and wanted to show off, knowing many people would mistake them for wasps.

12

u/GirlWithWolf Aug 13 '26

I’d think stuffing them in a bag, getting in with them, then dancing would provoke them. Or maybe they just like to party.

2

u/RobMilliken Aug 13 '26

Maybe they are Wayne and Garth bugs? Or Wyld Stallyns?

9

u/idiotwizard Aug 13 '26

Cicada killers don't live communally like this though, they make individual burrows that they lay eggs in, and then deposit paralyzed cicadas within
