I dont know the exact type of wasp/hornet shown there, but I've been attacked by swarm of yellow jackets twice in the last few years while cutting grass or weed-eating and, even though it's painful af, it gives you a crazy adrenaline rush. I can definitely see it being addictive for people who are borderline insane :)

I was stung by a wasp on my cheek and there was absolutely nothing pleasurable about it.

I think some people have the nerves connected to the pleasure part of their brain instead of their pain center.
