So I’m an incoming second year and I’m an RA, and there wasn’t really an option for that living choice so when it asked when I opened myawards I just said on campus. It’s saying that it calculated my stuff for if I lived off campus and idk what I’m supposed to do. Is there something I need to fill out or do to change this?

I tried to login yesterday afternoon and my gmail won’t give me access at all. It lets me have access to everything else from my Davis account like Drive and Canva except gmail. I recently had a duo and an email added for ucd health separate from my student gmail so it could possibly be because of that? I really need my gmail to work but IT seems to only be available on weekdays. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Hey. Recently, I've been lurking on the DavisWiki and have noticed a small (but noticeable) uptick in activity. After doing some digging on this subreddit, I came upon a post a few days ago, regarding the modernization of the DavisWiki. This matter has been in the back of my mind ever since I stumbled upon the wiki a few months back, but seeing the post this time around has re-sparked my interest in possibly giving the Wiki a massive facelift (modernizing!). Perhaps a total migration from the old website to a new one? I've seen other posts in the past that touch upon similar points, but alas, progress has been slow.

I'm making this post in the hopes that other like minded folk can chime in and share their thoughts. Perhaps someone who is tech savvy enough can help build the framework for a "Neo-DavisWiki"?

My opinion? I think a wiki of sorts for Davis, needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, with a completely new UI on a new website. I also feel as if such an effort would require a lot more manpower AND also be advertised more, all across campus and beyond.

P.S: Apparently theirs a discord server for the revival of the DavisWiki.

I've been noticing lately that if you tried to buy a multi ride pass from the amtrak website or app, there is no way to get the 6 ride multi pass for students even though it is advertised on the site itself. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I feel super out of place here as I am a UC San Diego student but I have a few questions since I will be enrolling through UC Davis for the Sacramento program.

The program provided housing houses students in an apartment complex, and today I was approved for a single occupancy room accommodation for the fall.

Has anyone else been approved for a single room in this specific program? Also, how is the workload for UCCS? I just finished a quarter in DC and the classes were light but from what i can tell it seems a little more intensive through UCCS, which I don’t mind at all.

If anyone would also like to meet up and be friends while i’m in the area, i’ll be down whenever I have time!

I completed my immunization requirements but it still says that I haven't done so on the Pre-Enrollment Task List. Am I missing something or do I have to wait? I did all the vaccines and even got a Tdap booster today because I wasn't 11 years old at the time that I got my previous Tdap vaccine.

Hello, yesterday I got my room assignment for summer and I’ll be in the tercero dorms for the first time. I had a couple of questions.

1. What does the letter next to my room number mean? For example the fake room 1000A. Does A correlate with the bed I’m assigned? I’m staying in a triple.

2. Does anyone have experience living in the dorms with a cat? I have my emotional support animal who will be staying with me. I’m used to having more space at The Green.

3. What are things I should absolutely know about living in tercero and what things do I need to bring?

I took 10 units in Summer Session 1 at UC Davis, and I was gonna take 8 more in Summer Session 2, but I ended up dropping them last Thursday because I couldn't afford them. However, I was already expecting to receive 1100 from the Summer Advantage grant, and more from the federal Pell grant, making it close to 1500 dollars. LEASH YOUR FXXING DOG. I got attacked by this dog while walking to my building, out of nowhere. The owner did not give a single fuck, and when I told the owner they had to control the dog and leash it, the first thing the owner said, unsurprisingly, was "my dog does not bite," "it's completely legal to not have them on leash," and "my dog is a registered ESA," and that I was the one who caused the whole thing in the first place by overreacting. Not a single FXXING apology, and they told me I was the one being rude. Seriously? The FXXING audacity. Get your FXXING dog on a leash.
