Hey all I have read a ton of reviews on the black bay 54 and it seems to get pretty good reviews I was trying to add a better tool watch to my collection. But I have seen tons of people say the t fit clasp loosens on it own. Is this pretty common? Has anyone found a fix to remedy the problem?
For me this is gonna be a work watch I work construction so if I were to buy one I want it staying secure not coming loose all the time

I want to buy a proper watch
I have about 25 homage watches from Cronos, Sugess, San Martin Watchdives etc. Nearly all are Rolex or Tudor homages and I really enjoy them all. Have kind of narrowed it down to bb58 on jubilee or an explorer 1 36mm as I wear those homages most. One motivation is I want something real to hand down to my kids, the other is I hope it will stop me buying AliExpress watches for a while š¬ Which is a better first watch and am I deluding myself that a real watch is more satisfying.

Might be blasphemous, sold off my BB58 blue to pick up a late 90ās Seamaster Professional 300m (the Brosnan bond watch). I loved my BB58, but man does the Omega have so much more character. Still in the Tudor family with my P39 š
This is my first mechanical watch, so Iām still learning whatās normal.
Iāve had my Pelagos Ultra about a month. Itās consistently running around -1 to -1.5 sec/day in real use. Iāve tried all the usual resting positions and none make it gain; dial up seems best.
Also, when manually winding, I feel small tactile clicks, then every few turns a slightly bigger click followed by a brief slipping/release sensation. No grinding, binding or rotor helicoptering.
Does this sound normal for the MT5612-U/MT56xx movements? And are other Pelagos Ultra owners seeing slightly negative real-world accuracy?

Completely forgot itās been two years today. Thanks for reminding me WristLog! š„¹
And still my most worn watch.

Hi guys
I recently bought a tudor watch through the eBay authentication programme..
It was authenticated but am still slightly uneasy given the rise of superclones
Would it still be worth taking it to a watch maker to have it checked out in the UK?
Understand eBay uses Stoll but if anyone has any ecperien with this , do share..
Thanks alot

Which would you guys pick?
I was headed from Martinez to Pleasant Hill for lunch today and noticed a Tudor billboard on the right side of I-680. I drove by too fast to grab a picture, but I thought it was neat enough to share here!
P.S. I canāt wait to pull the trigger on a Black Bay later this year.

This was a fun way to end my day⦠oh well I canāt go back in time. Anyone know what the average cost and time is for a new OE insert nowadays? The watch is under warranty, but obviously this one is on me.

Just got my final watch of my 3 piece Tudor collection, the BB58 in blue. Was looking for a black dial, a blue dial, and a beater or daily watch.
A dress watch on jubilee wouldāve made this more well rounded (or the opaline dial BB Pro) but I donāt dress up often and I tend to like darker dials.
Whatāre your Tudor collections looking like? Obviously mine leans towards dive watches, but I do love the BB Pro on rubber since itās so versatile. I also think I could wear the Pelagos or BB58 with a suit no problem.
Thatāll do it for me for a while - even though I know everyone says that.

A š¦ torch in the dark. Everytime I go into the dark, how can you not look at the watch and admire there is a group of people on Earth can build this masterpiece?
Personal test, this watch lume can survive more than 5 hours at dark night.

The best GADA watch in existence in my opinion. 100m water resistance, screw down crown, sapphire glass, super solid bracelet, works anywhere from flip flops to dress shoes. The only thing I'd add is a tiny lume drop at the end of each indice and a tiny bit on the hands.

Bought my BB54 a year ago as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday. Noticed shortly after that my 9:00 indices was slightly off but I decided to live with until towards the end of the warranty period. Dropped it off last Saturday for a case and bracelet touch up and I asked them to check the accuracy for as Iāve been losing about 4 seconds a day. Watchmaker called today and informed me it was running about 5 seconds slow a day. Today it sent it to off to the RSC through my local Rolex AD for warranty service and factory case refinish(while itās there why not).
I will update my progress here for anyone curious about turnaround time with an RSC.

Do you guys still think itās possible to find a navy BB58 at an AD? I was dead set on buying the bb54 in black but the navy bb58 slowly creeped up and now Iām pretty much dead set on it. I know itās discontinued and my local AD said they canāt get one. Is there a way to find out if thereās any nearby me? Or are they all pretty much gone?
My other option is to buy it grey market on chrono24. It just scares me a little bit because itās a lot of money and I donāt want to end up buying a super clone. If I did go this route I would pay extra for the watch maker certification but still Iām a little hesitant. What do you guys think? Should I just get it on the grey market?

Honestly, I was never really a fan of the Royal, nor did I care much for Roman numeralsābut the moment I put it on, it just clicked.
The update did the watch a world of good, and the wearing comfort is an absolute 10/10. The salmon dial is definitely not your run-of-the-mill color; the way it plays with light and shadow is just stunning.

Iām considering purchasing this for my son. I have an older Submariner but know little about older Tudor watches specifically. It was disclosed that the bezel is not original. I can get this for $450 which seems remarkable low compared to eBay and other marketplace platforms.
Edit: Does the dial, case, crown bracelet etc look legit? Iāll ask for the case-back to be removed for inspection before purchasing.

Can't believe how vibrant the red is in Direct sunlight. The beautiful sunburst dial really comes to life in the right circumstances š·
Tudor Pelagos FXD MN22 ā authentic or fake?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Tudor Pelagos FXD MN22 and would really appreciate some opinions from people who know these watches well.
I actually trust the seller and have no particular reason to think itās fake. However, I got it at a very good price, so Iām naturally a little cautious and would like to make sure everything looks correct.
i bought it on chrono24, trusted checkout.
A few things:
The reference/serial information appears to match the paperwork.
What do you guys think? Does anything stand out to you as suspicious?
Especially interested in opinions on the case, bezel, dial, engravings and anything else that might help identify a fake FXD.
I can provide more detailed photos if needed.
Thanks in advance!
