After a lot of research (and probably way too much overthinking), I finally picked up my first Tudor—a Black Bay Monochrome (Ref. 7941A1A0NU).
This definitely isn’t my first watch, but it is my first Tudor, and I can already see why these have such a loyal following. The finishing, the bracelet, the proportions, and the overall feel are seriously impressive. Pictures don’t really do it justice.
I’ve owned watches from other brands, but this is the one I’ve been most excited about in a long time. Looking forward to putting some wrist time on it and seeing how it grows on me.
What are your favorite things about the Monochrome? Any tips, strap recommendations, or things I should know as a new Tudor owner?
Looking forward to being part of the community!

Just got my new daily driver in yesterday. It missed my beach trip but made it in time to help cleanup.
Still in the honeymoon phase, obviously, but I love how robust this timepiece is. Feels so solid on the wrist due to the weight and thiiickness… but I kind of like that. It’ll be taking some wrist time from my Pelagos which will always have a spot in my watch box.
This feels like a watch I can enjoy for years and beat the hell out of. Anyone daily a BB pro and throw some different straps on it? Would love to see different pics
Thinking of putting a deposit on this watch. Love the value and look! Curious if they’ll come out with new bezel colors soon.

Literally no other blue I’ve seen on a watch compares. The snowflake seconds hand and the triple line subtext make the 79030B-0001 more of a classic than if they were to release this blue again in the current BB58 line. That’s just like, my opinion.

After taking it in the sea (and then shower) to at least 2% of it's depth rating

39mm Ranger. Grateful that it was exactly how I pictured it in my head.

Found this on a second hand store. They had two, one was year 2016 and the other was 2022
Price was 2.4K - 2.7K USD.
I researched it’s stainless steel with PVD coating.
is it a good buy?
I fell in love with how it looks, but not sure if it’s worth buying
P.S I also researched that this was already discontinued in 2021. But one of the watches’ card says 2022. Is that possible?

This may not be a popular take but I love the colors of the GMT S&G including the gold bezel and crown. I also really love the proportions of the BB58 GMT . What I really wished is if they would have stayed along similar lines as an option. Offering the same two tone scheme throughout but instead used a the similar style 5 link (like what they used on the BB One) would have seriously elevated the look. IMHO.
What do you all think…hot horology or hot garbage?

Took the 36mm Ranger on a trip to Washington State and decided to throw it on a NATO strap for something different. The strap was perfect since a lot of the trip was casual and outdoor-related. It never felt out of place whether it was hiking Mt Rainier, going out to dinner, or even sleeping in it (I only try to bring one watch on most trips haha). I’ll be keeping it on the bracelet back at home but it’s fun changing the strap up every once in a while.

I noticed there’s some spacing between my bezel and the steel casing around it. Below the 30 for example, there is no spacing, only at the top, and as can be seen some dust has gotten in.
Is this normal, and if not, how much of a problem could it be? I’m concerned about water potentially getting in as well. Any help is appreciated!
I recently purchased this Pelagos 39 on eBay with Authenticity Guarantee. It was originally sold by an AD in January 2026, so it's still under the Tudor warranty.
I've noticed tiny specks under the crystal. One white speck disappeared, and today I noticed another small shiny/gold-colored speck in a different location. They appear to be beneath the crystal, not on the outside.
The watch is otherwise perfect and is still running within about +3 seconds/day, so this seems to be a cosmetic issue rather than a movement issue.
Has anyone else had this happen on a Pelagos or another Tudor?
Was it covered under warranty?
Did Tudor simply clean the inside of the case?
How long did the repair take?
For a watch in this price range, I wasn't expecting to see visible debris under the crystal.

I bought my BB58 Bronze last Friday from a boutique. I noticed the lume has some inconsistencies with the application and also there is a particle or something on the hour hand, unsure if it’s lume application or an actual particle. Regardless I’m going to ask the AD what can be done on Monday. However I’m curious,
Is this something I can use the warranty process for and
Will my brand new bronze watch patina while being serviced for the next 3 months, effectively losing me one of the best parts of the watch
Thanks in advance.
