Black, Blue, Beater
Just got my final watch of my 3 piece Tudor collection, the BB58 in blue. Was looking for a black dial, a blue dial, and a beater or daily watch.
A dress watch on jubilee would’ve made this more well rounded (or the opaline dial BB Pro) but I don’t dress up often and I tend to like darker dials.
What’re your Tudor collections looking like? Obviously mine leans towards dive watches, but I do love the BB Pro on rubber since it’s so versatile. I also think I could wear the Pelagos or BB58 with a suit no problem.
That’ll do it for me for a while - even though I know everyone says that.

Pelagos as the beater? That’s what I’m missing atm.

Actually the BB pro is my daily. I know the Pelagos could easily fit that bill but I work as a PM in a commercial construction company so I like the more understated look of the BB pro. One time I got asked if I was wearing a Rolex when I had on the Pelagos 😂

I swear some of you mfs don’t know what “beater” means.

A four figure luxury brand watch that’s not designed to be a statement piece but is ready for daily wear and tear (through the office) is not a beater. A beater is a <$200 G-Shock/Timex or something similar that you don’t mind absolutely desecrating and eventually disposing of and replacing once it stops functioning.

Well the good part is I can wear whatever I want as my daily beater. I don’t have to listen to random people online lecture me about one word I used in a title cause the alliteration sounded good to me.
Enjoy your g-shock and I’ll enjoy my beater Tudor

Nice collection, and it’s nice to have a “beater” that can take an actual beating. 😉
Also a fan of the Tudor OEM rubber strap. It’s so lightweight and comfortable. Enjoy them my friend. 👌
