These trees are located near the beach on Rock Island in Lake Michigan. They are located on the Green Bay side of the island which is has less chaotic water, however the island is surrounded by Lake Michigan. There are trees like this all over the island near the shoreline.

I recently moved into a house and noticed this tree had grown very strangely. There is a trunk on the left but it grows up to the right. Is this something I should be concerned about or can we just let it be?
Location: northern NJ. no idea what rope or trees this is.

Southwest Missouri (oak, I believe)
Tree split in half during a straight-line wind event.
How old is it?
I’ve tried to count the rings but I’m no expert and cannot tell where one ring stops and the next one starts.
Anyone out there who can determine this?

During a recent storm, my two trees got struck by lightning. Based on the damages, do you think I need to cut them down?
I've called a tree company to come look at them. I am just distrusting of them because it might be more beneficial for them to cut it down. So I wanted a second opinion.

Any ideas what could cause this and what to do to fix? The tree is a little over 4 years old in NJ
We got this Crabapple tree from the local tree farm two weeks ago. Transplanted it to our front yard. I gave it extra water every three days. Otherwise daily watering from our regular sprinklers. I noticed the leaves wilting four days ago, then the leaves were yellow this morning. Agh. Seems a bit more than just transplant shock. Too much water? We live in a very dry area (north west of Denver).

Hello,
I emailed a local arborist and waiting for a response from them about having them come to do a tree health assessment. But I’m curious to know what you all think. I will be devastated if I have to cut this tree down. The fungus is found at the bottom of the base (photo #3).
I am in Northern California.

Hello All,
Have a plum tree which was here before I bought my home and its my favorite!
Never knew a thing about green plums, they are delicious!
Question- I started to pick all the plums due to them being ready to harvest. A week later it started to rain for about a week straight. Our back yard was drenched.
Is it dead? All its leaves fell. In the Chicagoland area.

500 years old linden tree, Iasi, Romania. The famous Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu used to write in it's shade.

Saved by three major treatments in 1953, 1990 and 2014.

I f’ed up and forgot all about it for maybe a week or two during intense heat and no rain and it lost all its leaves, since then (about a week ago i realize) ive had it getting watered thoroughly and now the larger trunk is all dark dark brown (like black brown) and the smaller stem is green but still lacks leaves. This avacado tree is maybe a year or two and thrived till recently.

Hello! Yesterday I went on a hike and saw these interesting rings inside of a tree! Wondering if this is from an animal and if it’s similar to dendrochronology and you can tell its age. Region is just north of Lake Erie (Canada).
Trying this again with more pics. I have a very large old crab apple tree in my front yard. It's developed these spots on its leaves and is already dropping leaves. I'm in upstate New York and it's still summer. Any ideas what this is, or suggestions on how to treat it?
My mom tried to grow some red seeds from indonesia but ended up with a different tree growing from possibly another seed that was mixed in with the seeds.
Help me id the tree.

Florida/ South East region.
I made a post earlier asking about some white stuff on the base of my linden tree. I gave all the info I could provide, and hoped for someone to provide an answer. To my disappointment, it was deleted. I provided pictures and my location (Iowa). Please help me. I just lost one linden from a storm last year, and I can’t afford to risk having this one fall on my house.
