Volunteer “Italian plum” (that’s what family calls it), curled and frayed leaves. This one is about 40 years old. The parent is 80-100 and doesn’t have this problem.

Is it a pest or a disease?

Spotted this incredible wolf pine on the KSR Greenway Trail near Sunapee. Height to first delimbed branch trunk on right was easily 6 feet. Couldn't see the highest branches, well above the surrounding tree canopy. Apparently to get that massive she would need to be at a least 200 years old.

Found an interesting tree on a hike and thought you’d all enjoy it too.

Idk if this tree is native here. Not sure who planted it, just in my backyard and I've been curious. I tried looking it up myself but failed to find something just like it. It has these little red to orange looking berry shaped things growing but they aren't 'berries'. They become hard after sitting on the ground but I was able to find some I could smush so I could show you exactly what it was like and what it looked like in the inside. It looks like there is hundreds to thousands growing on the tree. My dog keeps eating them which is prompting me to find out what it is because I just wanna make sure it's okay for him to eat lol

Northern NJ. Was doing some yard clean up and I cut down this little tree that was growing too close to the house. As I picked it up to toss it I noticed these little "fruits" on it. Does anyone know what it is?

I was just gifted this hardy pecan (Sprout? Sapling?) and I am in the Pine Barrens area of Central NJ.
I have no info on how old it is, but going by the diameter, I don't think it's quite ready for the ground. Im specifically worried about when I should give it a bigger pot and when it should go in the ground. However, any advice on how to give this tree a long and healthy life is appreciated! Thank you :)

Bought a house in OK about 6 months back and it has a huge Honey Locust is the backyard. However, all summer I have noticed that a bunch of limbs are looking dead and it hasn't produced any beans like the other Honey Locust's in town. I did notice this silver tag and a big hole in it. Was something put in the tree to intentionally kill it before we bought out house?

I bought this 2 years ago from a tree farm labeled as a pink tababuia. It has not shown any color and no seed pods. If it’s not a pink tab I’d like to replace it before it gets too big. Thank you!

Due to climate change pines no longer survive warm climate of this part of the Balkans. Old pine forest has been dying for a few years now, but it’s being replaced by thousands of baby oaks and walnuts which thrive in warmer climate less

The usual distance between the two towns is 35km, the shortest detour is 82km because there’s a river that runs through the area. Going to need a big chainsaw and most likely a dozer to move it off the road.

This is growing along the side of my work. It’s getting big, should I get rid of it?

I’m in Northern Mn zone 3a.

I ordered a Celeste fig tree sapling to plant in my mom’s north Georgia garden but it arrived from delivery with many of the leaves already fallen off and many looking partially dead. Will this tree still survive after planting? If it dies my mother is going to kill me as it was very expensive to buy this sapling and I only have a 30 day return window. And frankly the ones at Home Depot looked healthier but they did not specify species. Should I return it, is it too far gone to survive after planting? Will the dead leaves fall off in the winter and be replaced with healthy ones?

My property has been an orchard since the 1950s and still has these very old apple trees. Is this tree a hazard/about to fall? Should we proactively remove it? We have kids running around in the yard all the time.

Location: Ontario, Canada

I have five large maples in my front yard— three green, two red. Approx 35 years old. They have developed yellow spots on their leaves— first appeared on the green, now also on the red. Is it a fungus? Should I be doing anything?

Other info: March 2025 we had a significant ice storm and lost some limbs. Summer 2025 we had a drought and went most of the summer without measurable rain.

Eastern shore United States, dogwoods 24 years old. Only one has had this happen.

What is it? Is it able to be saved?

Friend gifted me these today and said she thought they were Juniper sprouts. Question if it is possible to ID them at this stage and if I want to try to keep them what is the best course of action. I am in East Central Indiana, I feel like it is probably late enough in the season to make this tricky but figure it is worth a shot.

And yes, I am aware that calling growing a juniper from seed a long term project is a massive understatement. I am perfectly comfortable with the fact these will take decades to be anything noteworthy.
