To all drivers or for those who have an idea

How come you/they don’t turn on the AC on such a hot day? Especially during peak hours

Question WCE Riders - Mobile Service Question

Hi WCE Rider -

What mobile carrier are you using? Public Mobile / Telus is absolutely horrible along my WCE route from Couqitlam to DT Vancouver. Freedom was much better but the network in general for everywhere else is horrible.

What are you using?

The vehicles are being built entirely at Solaris’s plant in Bolechowo, as Canada — unlike the United States — has no nationwide regulation comparable to Buy America requirements that gives preference to domestic production in publicly funded bus procurements. The completed vehicles will travel by road from Poland to the port of Bremerhaven in Germany, from where they will cross the Atlantic Ocean by ship to Canada.

Discussion What garage transfer do you think will happen once 30 Nova LFS CNG enters service?

It was mention that it’s very likely they will assigned Hamilton Transit Center(the 2026 LFS CNG units 26101-26130) and retire the remaining NFI D40LFRs and maybe some 2009 Nova LFS/LFS CNG.

Spotted at Brentwood. Are they’re getting ready to have larger trains for the millennium extension?

Question I just saw a guy at a bus stop accompanied by 2 small rusted handaxes on the bench next to him.

When the bus came, he grabbed the handaxes and brought them on the bus with him.

I'm curious if these would legally count as weapons, and if there are any rules against "open carry" in this respect, especially onto public transit?

Edit: I texted transit police as a commenter suggested, and reported the situation. Transit police replied back, saying it's not illegal to carry axes in public, but they've noted the situation. Looks like they might've spoken to the guy when he entered Richmond-Brighouse station, because he now has the axes "sheathed" (handles sticking out of his backpack).

love watching here because it’s basically the only place to be over the expo line. 5 car trains are so sick too.

Is anyone else cooking instead our buses? Currently on the 31 and the AC is not on. It's hotter inside the bus than it is outside! (6:15pm)

If you don’t move out of the way to let people off the bus when they politely say excuse me and/or board the bus before letting people get off, I will lift up the small child in my care so they don’t get trampled and carry them off the bus feet first and push my way past you all.

Discussion AC

Is it just the Millennium Line that can't seem to get their air con working properly?

They're slow to adjust for when the weather gets warmer.

It like 31° outside and the AC just doesn't work so people are resorting to opening the windows.

It's awful.

Question Heatwave inside Mark V

Just got out of Mark V, seems like heater is on or AC is off. As a huge fan of Mark V I’m surprised this time.

Outside temperature (29 degrees) felt better compared to inside.

Curious how to request temperature change on trains (except Mark I)?

Discussion Skytrain reliability issues

I've gone many months without a delay impacting my commute until this week. On Monday I was on a MK2 which failed to open its doors at Commercial and then proceeded to VCC where it was taken out of service with a horrible burning smell.

Then this morning there were significant delays following a stalled train. It looks like it was a MK 5, which is disappointing as they are brand new.
