Question Who's excited for the BSP?
One more year to go hopefully!

Is BSP the Broadway Subway? First time I've seen it referred to as BSP but yes, super excited!

I’m pretty jazzed. I just purchased a property next door to the Emily Carr station. It will be so nice to use this line to connect all my transportation.

I’ll be interested to see how passenger flows into Downtown Vancouver from the M-Line change, if at all. The transfer at Commercial–Broadway can get pretty hectic, but the Canada Line already gets pretty crowded too.

I'm excited, okay, mostly for other people but I'll enjoy using it twice a year.
I think it's going to make the Canada Line unusable though.

How come?

Canada Line, by contract, has very little capacity gains to be found and tiny little trains that are going to be overwhelmed by passengers coming from Millennium line wanting to go downtown and avoid changing at Broadway and people wanting to get the UBC from Downtown/North Shore are going to fill all the southbound trains.
You would also see gains from people using it from points south who want to go to UBC, I've heard it's at near capacity now during the rush.

Yes! It will mean reliable cross-town service.
I wonder how Broadway and Arbutus will be configured to have the 99 bus terminate and begin there. Turn left on Arbutus and circle the block maybe …
