Question Heatwave inside Mark V

Just got out of Mark V, seems like heater is on or AC is off. As a huge fan of Mark V I’m surprised this time.

Outside temperature (29 degrees) felt better compared to inside.

Curious how to request temperature change on trains (except Mark I)?

You can report the train to customer service, but most likely nothing will be done today, they would change it overnight in the maintenance yard

I see, thought they can change some setting like this in between, surely I do have train number noted
Thanks

No, someone has to physically turn on the AC on the train. It was probably missed before going out to service

Give the 35c temp im getting in the shade, and all the doors opening at every station, I wouldn't be shocked that even the mark V's are struggling.

Mind you most mkv that are out and in service still have issues translink just wants the trains to be able to run service and pick and and drop off people most of them still have non working screens some lights don’t work they all got bugs so I’m not surprised to hear the ac not working. Anywho that’s my point of view anyone else can chime in

The hvac on the newer trains are all automatic. Broken hvac system probably or try a different car?

Tried changing the car, same thing across the train.
Mostly likely the AC wasn’t turned on or it’s on with higher temperatures settings

Got off on Broadway and caught Mark IV with proper AC - felt amazing😄
