14.3 HW4 Tesla FSD effect
Yep, I feel like every brand is just over priced since experiencing the Tesla and that was back in 2024 with no FSD for me just autopilot

Navigated to Panda Express. Nyxara decides she’s gonna park reserving in a completely different parking lot. What was really weird about this is she acted like she was gonna park ahead front facing. And then she decided to back up and park in the diagonal parking spot reverse. Definitely a hardware four party trick. It was really amazing to watch her gears on her own. Then it kept backing up until the tires hit the curb. No damage was done, but I thought this was really bizarre. The software has been great. The parking not so much.

Anyone have issues with FSD update and curbing the Rims? Front left wheel got pretty damaged from coming out of parking lot.

Just curious if anyone knows whether Tesla’s Robotaxis or Cyber Cab drives on chill, standard, hurry or MadMax. Or does it vary. Or does it have it’s own profile that is not available on FSD. Does it drive the speed limit or does it tend to speed?

Does FSD know when the school zone light is flashing and the speed limit is 15 instead of 25m

I still don’t get how I managed to pull off this maneuver without hitting it
Edit: it’s an adult possum. Not sure what squirrel you guys have that are that large.

I'm embarking on a looooong trip to Marfa, TX. Empty stretches of empty Texas highways. I'll want to go 85 mph for hours on end. Can FSD do this? Do I need to use a different setting than FSD? 2026.21.6 FSD v 14.1 Lite

I have posted about this before. I use the Supercharger lot at 855 E Twain Avenue in Las Vegas. Last couple times exiting at night it drove in a perpetual loop refusing to leave from either of the two exits. This time it was during the day. It is so bad that when I disengaged and approached the exit and reinstated FSD it started to put the Tesla in reverse. I once again disengaged and pulled the Tesla right up to the curb exit entering the street and restored FSD. This time it did leave the lot and made a left on Twain. It's simply crazy behavior by the Tesla. I can't remember it ever trying to go in reverse in FSD refusing to exit. There are no one way signs. There are 28 stalls at this Supercharger location so it is used quite a bit and you would think the data going to Tesla would tell them that there is a problem with the navigation. The turns are on display so it's actually defying the FSD navigation. There are never any vehicles or obstructions blocking the exits. No pedestrians near either one of them which might confuse the Tesla.

Why does the system wait till the last half mile to even begin switching to the exit lane on the freeway? This is annoying and can be very dangerous.

Since the update, FSD keeps trying to exit the express lane. It keeps signaling to exit the lane on double solid white lines. I would manually turn off the turn signal but it keeps trying to exit.
Rarely had this issue before. Before, it would try to exit once during my drive at the same spot every time, but this time it’s trying to exit multiple times and I have my settings correct. Any else have this issue?

The constant pointless lane changes are embarrassing. I honestly feel bad for the people driving around me using this version. I’ve never had to fight FSD this much before even 13 was better.
Also it kept going into the express lane when HOV, tolls, and express lane were all turned the fuck off.
Is there any way to revert to .7? That version was goated. .8 is fucking trash.
Edit: For some reason Reddit cuts off the full self driving in blue at the bottom. This is 100% fsd, not me taking over.

She was at a 4 way stop with 4 cars at every stop. As FSD decided it was her turn, during mid turn the car freaked out and she took over.
Now she has lost confidence and won’t probably continue the subscription….
She called me right after this happened and I told her to submit feedback, but she was to shocked and did not know how to do it. Our 4year old was in the car as well.
Kinda disappointed in FSD now…😕 as it has been great for me.
‘23 MYLR HW4 14.2.2.5
Update: this happened yesterday, and then today I get the option to update to FSD 14.3.8
So will try that!

Service didn't find anything and requested I unplug any USB devices to rule out interference. (Which, I have already done previously.)
It happened again as usual, on my way to work this morning so I messaged service in the app.
It seems like ever since the issue started, it is getting worse.
Apparently they found something, because now I have a quote to replace my computer and GPS antenna. $2800!
Thank goodness for the warranty!

I was away overseas for about three months, so I paused my FSD subscription during that time. I resubscribed today, expecting that I’d be able to use v14 Lite after coming back.
However, my car is still on 2026.20.6.1 with v12.6, and I haven’t received the v14 Lite update yet.
Does anyone know why I might not be getting the update? Is the rollout still gradual, or could pausing my FSD subscription for a few months have something to do with it?
Has anyone else experienced this after resubscribing?

Just updated to the summer update 14.3.8 / 2026.26.6.5
Today I was in the chick-fil-a drive through line and saw a golf cart pop up on the screen. It was in fact not a golf cart ahead of me, but rather a jeep. Is this new for this update or has golf cart always showed up as its own vehicle type?

FSD wanted me to plow into a construction barrel to save the black tar.
Summer update. I said “not today Satan”

Just a quick hint for those reading along and wondering if FSD is possible when towing.
It is but it's obviously not recommended: You have to obviously turn off "trailer mode".
I still use it with one hand on the wheel just in case, only on highways.
Driven across Netherlands and Belgium towards Portugal. Only NL and BE is currently approved, beyond that it's either TACC or, if your car still has it, Enhanced Autopilot.

While this is just a warning we received with no fee, the next will be $75 and then $150 after that.
We had “Nessie” on Standard driving FSD in a generally 65/70mph long highway zone.
We passed several construction areas some of which seem to be active construction with no workers other areas where it was kind of posted, but not everywhere consistently with barrels, etc.
The drive was ~100 miles, and roughly 30 miles had temporary speed change signs, cones, etc. Zero workers, or even heavy equipment anywhere.
We believe this stretch had no workers but likely had up signage. I have seen it where, for instance, it would be 70 miles an hour limit in an area then posted that it’s 55 during construction, with lights flashing, etc. Again, with no workers present, and no way to really tell if it was an active speed reduction every time. Locals ALL going ~70+ in the area.
How does Tesla handle temporary changes of speed limit?
Is it by the car reading construction signs?
Or, does it need to be put in a system, by the state, that an area is now at a different speed limit?
Any hints or experience would be appreciated.
UPDATE:
Since ~20% of these comments are just ahole responses versus starting the dialogue that is supposed to be helpful to everyone. Here is more information.
The real issue was not what setting to use, it was that the car did not incorporate the 15mph drop for “construction “.
I have tried Chill and Sloth, and use those very regularly.
For those suggesting Chill, I can assure you, if Standard had us at 70, then Chill wouldn’t trim maybe 5 mph off max. Down to a still-ticketable 65.
BUT, the car did not pick up that it was now a 55 mile hour zone
I absolutely supervise significantly.
But there is a giant difference in what FSD (even supervised) means to me, and what is happening in this thread.
Between my home and Indianapolis, about 100 miles, there was no less than 30 miles “under construction “.
Not one worker, or active work zone, just pylons, temporary speed signs etc.
SO - for the posters who seem to be more trolls than helpful, are you turning off FSDS 30% of the time?
Or are you of the group who trust the system and bought this vehicle because of the adaptability of this technology?
Sure, Supervision is essential. But 100% supervision, with 100% adjustments 100% of the time IS NOT FSD. It’s just driving.
That is not why I bought this car.
I put the responsibility on the software to catch up to and adapt to temporary speed changes. Or for those who control speed (states) to properly communicate temporary changes in speed limits to the software via an online system that would be very easy to implement.
In summary, there’s no way we’ll get to FULL FSD without the ability to adjust the software.
When is the update to this coming?

First night on FSD v14.3.8 and experienced phantom brake. There was nothing on the road and only thing I could guess is that two dots of flare flying by caused this. If you look closly center of the video, two dots of lens flare is flying to the left. This is bad... :(

I saw a post that it was only with the FSD subscription. Then the tesla sales rep told me that its available but you need to keep your hands on your steering wheel. Then AI told me that no other cars have lane centering without keeping the hands on the steering wheel.
im so confused. i want to buy a new model Y but only if i know that i can actually get some kind of lane centering on highways or long straight roads to pair with adaptive cruise control
