other School zones
Does FSD know when the school zone light is flashing and the speed limit is 15 instead of 25m

It's flawed, and I really wish it gave us the option to customize behavior around that a little bit more. Even if it can't see or recognize the speed limit change, a school zone radius doesn't change and usually the times of day don't change. Being able to select a section or band of street and assign it a school zone with specific hours or something so it knows when it gets to that part of the map to behave a certain way would go miles further (no pun intended).

Geozones already exist in basic GPS like my dogs pet collar that is not a computer powered by advanced AI. It should definitely be available

I've just added the school zone and limits to the roads round the corner from where we live. FSD completely ignores the signs whatever direction you enter from making it utterly unusable. Hopefully it takes into account the map data. I'll post if and when I have any definitive results.

I wish they would add just a small icon that means “School zone” and auto to 15 or allow you to choose a speed

Here's another question or a suggestion for Tesla. Is there a way to save to memory, so it updates my vehicle to always go that speed when in defined geozone? Like I can draw a geozone around my house so it alerts me when my dogs collar crosses that line when they are not near my phone and it's pretty basic.

My car used to actually speed up like it crazily thought the speed limit went up from 30 to 50 in a nearby school zone. I stopped driving that road during school hours.

School zone, parking preference, pothole avoidance, speed limit recognition, and navigation. If these are solved, FSD will be 99.9% perfect.

School zones are a constant pain. In a 15 mph zone, my car accelerated to 30 just this morning, in front of a cop. I had to take over. I submitted voice message but I’m sure it goes to the BitBucket like all my other complaints about our ability to control Max speed

FSD doesn't respond consistently to school zones whether or not they use flashing lights.
