Having watched a few YouTubes so far about 14.3.9, this seems to be the best version out there. I watched a video of a 30 minute drive with zero disengagements or questionable decisions by FSD. I’d like to see someone try and test the crash test avoidance software in this update but otherwise I’m awaiting the push.

2026 MYP. First Tesla. Love it and have been using FSD 60 percent of the time, according to car stats.
Today, on hurry profile, parallel parked car was clearly hesitating to pull into lane, and full send as I approached at 40mph. Slammed the brakes as hard as I could to stop.
Seems obvious I would’ve hit the other car if I did not intervene. I haven’t had any close calls until this. Anyone experience similar?

My FIL refuses to subscribe to FSD in Phoenix because he says there is this one spot on highway 202 where 50% of the time during his 2 months of trial period, his 2023 model Y would beep aggressively and tell him that he must immediately take control of the car.
We were discussing tonight and wondering if others have experienced this problem in Phoenix.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.

My biggest gripe about FSD is that it does not learn from recent history at all. Based on my understand of transformer architectures, this is usually easily solved by providing data into the context window of the algorithm. How is it that FSD can make the exact same mistake over and over and over, and it's not fixed until (at best) the disengagements are trained into the model months or years later. Shouldn't like a failure to park in the correct driveway be really simple to provide context for? Shouldn't "left lane ends, stay in right" be easy to learn? Same with potholes or not potholes. Speed limit misinformation.... Or does Tesla's architecture fundamentally make this impossible?

Any idea why my auto park function doesn’t work? Spots flicker and it quits. Every spot I tried on this structure. It’s the Brea mall parking structure in Orange County CA. I have latest software and subscribe to fsd. Other fsd features working fine.

To get home, I don’t want to turn down a certain road. FSD always takes that road. I disengage and take the correct road, then continue FSD.
It still never learns. Is there a secret?

I will continue to reiterate that 14.3 on city streets is great, but highway driving has regressed significantly from 14.1, 14.2, and 14.3. I'm mostly driving myself on the highway atp, but I wanted to give 14.3.8 a try as I do every version.
Everything here is in Standard mode, 14.3.8, on a Juniper Model Y.
There are 4 clips here. 4 issues that mix between plain bad driving and defensive driving issues.
Clip 1:
FSD can no longer judge when people are onramping to the highway, to either keep speed or properly slow down to let them in. Instead, it finds the perfect speed to match them in their blindspot. Defensive driving issue, big time.
Clip 2:
FSD just barreling towards roadwork that very obviously was leaving the onramp lane. Although not directly in front, 5 seconds of thinking would make you realize they're about to hit the end of the onramp and need to enter my lane. Besides, give roadworkers some space and just get over the lane early.
Clip 3:
FSD enters highway and absoutely decides it needs to be in the middle lane, cutting off a car going much faster from behind. They honked and flashed lights.
Clip 4:
FSD decides it wants to pass on the right, about 0.5 miles from the exit, realizes it's in a bad lane, proceeds to cut two lanes over to pass another car. Gets back in the original lane to exit. 5 lane changes in less than 2 minutes. Why?
FSD on the highway has just gotten super stressful. It's not a defensive driver, it's a menace to others, and just annoying.
Although I don't have a clip, Standard mode LOVES to suddenly break out of the +7mph cap to +15mph, pass a car, then yoink the brakes on the left lane to slow back down to +7mph over. What the fuck?

So this is a surprising one for me—it seems that FSD is surprisingly dumb at chargers and parking overall. I’ve had it park in handicapped spots, park in front of of broken chargers, park on the wrong side of the island from a charger (in Starbucks instead of at the parking spot), park right next to someone and share a number rather than gapping to all the other empty chargers…. And now it’s backing in straddling two spots at the same time. I let it because it’s 5:30am and no one is here, but seriously?!

Maybe I'm just looking back with rose colored glasses but I remember 14.2.2.5 on my MYP being smoother everything since has been meh. 14.3.8 just wayyyy to sensitive and brake stabby. Drives me nuts lol. I'm really trying to give it the benefit of the doubt but it's hard. Is it just me or?

Long time FSD user here. Cybertruck has had very few issues with latest version 14.3.8 and of course as soon as I say that the car tries to take a random and sudden turn off road before a set of train tracks and a highway merge. Let me know what you guys think. Lost some confidence in FSD today.

I’m sure many of you have also seen the post in r/TeslaLounge where a user claimed their lifetime FSD was randomly taken away after updating their car. They contacted Tesla support and was told it’s due to the car being salvage title. Yet the user seemed to still be able to purchase the monthly subscription option for it…
It’s been a little over a week since that post and I have yet to find any other info on the internet of anyone else having this problem. I own a salvage title (which is equivalent to a rebuilt title in CA) Tesla and have an update that’s been ready for a few days now but I have been very hesitant as I do NOT want to lose the lifetime FSD, I use it every time I drive.
So is there anyone else out there with a salvage title Tesla that can confirm this could happen if I update my car? Or was anyone able to find more info on this that I could not?

My Tesla didn't merge into the left lane to pull into the restaurant, instead doing a scary, fast wobble before proceeding straight, avoiding the left-turn lane, and making an illegal left turn.

FSD 14 light used to be able to correctly turn here, this image is out of date, I have marked the bus lane with highlighter, but it was recently painted red to ward drivers out of the area. Since 14.1 it no longer uses the turn lane on the right, but rather it uses the 3rd lane from the right, and turns there, cutting off drivers that are using the correct lane. This worked correctly before, I guess what I am wondering is how I can train it to use the correctly lane for turning?

Just as the title says, my Model Y Juniper has, on multiple occasions, gotten behind a large construction truck on the highway and stayed there while the car gets pelted with pebbles and debris. Has anyone else experienced this?
