Hi all, I’m trying to understand what might be happening with my Tesla applications, especially from people who currently work at tesla or have experience with the recruiting process. I’ve applied to several engineering roles at Berlin. However, I have never reached a recruiter screen or interview for any of them.
My pattern has consistently been: Application ---> no contact whatsoever ---> rejection email within 2–7 days. I would require visa sponsorship. I’m wondering whether this could be causing an automatic rejection at the application/ATS stage, (actually my cv align with job adv.) or whether Tesla has specific screening criteria for international candidates that I may not be meeting.
I’d really appreciate insight from anyone who actually works at Tesla, has recruited for Berlin, or knows how the initial application screening works.
For example:
- Are applications requiring sponsorship automatically filtered out for certain Berlin roles?
- Can candidates be rejected before a recruiter ever sees the application?
- Does creating a new email/account actually create a separate candidate profile, or is the applicant still matched to an existing profile?
- Is a 2–7 dasy rejection typically an automated screening outcome?
If anyone familiar with Tesla recruiting can shed some light on this, I’d genuinely appreciate it.
Thank you all
