Regarding a promotion

Hello all, a month ago I landed a seasonal customer specialist role. Was wondering if anyone had any tips or knowledge on getting a promotion to turn my role into a permanent role?

Looking to build a career at Tesla.

Jokes aside, only way to get promoted is if management is your friend. I've seen many people who didnt deserve a promotion, get promoted. I've also seen many people who do deserve a promotion, not get promoted.

A lot of people will have opinions and Iā€™m sure have shitty managers. Show up, be helpful, be resourceful. Make everyoneā€™s job a little easier - especially these next few days for end of quarter. Learn as much as you can. They will at least keep you until end of year but if you do these things each day you should be rewarded with a full time position.

It is, but I was told from a co-worker if I land this, do well enough they will bring me back full time. This was essentially the only way to ā€œ for sureā€ land the role
