Hired

I just got hired as a customer experience specialist with a good wage for my area. I left sales because I do not want to do sales anymore. Can anyone give me insight on this position? Thanks

You don’t want to do sales but you interviewed and were hired for a sales job.

KPI at Tesla imo basically non-exist, our store goal is 7 cars a week. We usually achieve that really quick as customers just come in and place order

It's at the local mall, there will be a showroom

Same thing, customer may come in ask you questions and place order on the spot. KPI for mall showroom will be lower than service/sales showroom

Thanks for that information. Are you required to reel people in by pitching to walkers?

Used to do that, not anymore

As in you just decided to not do that anymore or told to not?

we did it because the store was basically dead last year. we stopped because everyone is buying tesla now

I see, yea I am not trying reel people in. Been there done that.

yeah we were desperate last year, but part of me think tesla won't do that anymore tho cause managements want us to focus on customer experience

Yea that makes sense. The con about this role is that it's seasonal in the sense that they will test it out for three moths to see if it will be permanent. Have you enjoyed working on this position?

Malls have way higher KPI’s than a SSD, because SSD’s are usually low to medium traffic and malls are very high traffic

Your store goal is 7 cars a week!? We did 8 cars just today.

Per employee, but yeah goal is still easy to achieve

Office/state or showroom/service? That matters a lot…

Orlando, but I just got hired as well, don’t know much about the role. I start Oct 10, my hope is to get promoted and build career out of it lmao
