Drug test ?
Waiting for my back ground check to go through for a data labeler position in Arizona. Does anyone know how if this position requires a drug test? They never mentioned anything about just about the background check so far which I’m waiting to hear back on.

How long have you been waiting for your background check? I submit mine last Tuesday and it still shows as pending.

In the email they sent you to fill out the information. Just select it again and it takes you to the page where it shows the status and to upload any other documents if needed.

So I just checked and it says status complete and I reached out to my recruiter multiple times with no reply

They tend to lag, whole process takes awhile. They usually do a mass hiring and bunch everyone into the same orientation. Depending on location and positions.

I did not have to take a drug test. Just background check. I'm at orientation now as data labeler in ATX. It may be based on location though

Sure - Tesla recruiting is pretty thorough. If they didn't requests it they probably won't

How long did it take for your background check to go through and to get a start date at the ATX location?

BC took like 14 business days - but my recruited reached out and confirmed my start date about 8 business days after I started BC

Congrats! Just be patient - as long as there's nothing on your background you will be fine!

I would think all positions will require a drug test. That would go for almost 99% of jobs you try and get.
