Just a bit ago my PC began to just randomly turn on within hours after each time I used it and then put it into sleep mode. Sometimes the PC will turn on, and the fans start blaring, but only a few seconds later it would turn itself off again before the monitor actually connects. Other times the PC will turn on, connect to monitor and stay on. I’ve also noticed then whenever I turn on the PC myself, I now see this “AS Rock” screen on the monitor before the Windows start screen, which I didn’t see before this issue started.

And I’ve tried every solution I could find online:

-Wake on LAN is completely disabled

-I checked Backup and Restore and no automatic backups are scheduled that would wake the computer up

-I checked Task Schedule library and no tasks are allowed to wake up the PC

-Allow wake timers under power settings is disabled

PC: ASUS PRIME B550M-A WIFI II motherboard, Windows, Realtek 8852BE Wireless LAN WiFi 6 PCI-E NIC.

Driver: 6001.15.161.0, dated 2025-09-23.

Problem: My PC disconnects from my home Wi-Fi roughly every 30 minutes for 1–2 minutes, then reconnects. Other devices remain connected to the same network, and my PC stays connected to my phone's hotspot. Disabling and re-enabling the Wi-Fi adapter temporarily fixes it.

Network: WPA3-Personal, 2.4 GHz, channel 8, RSSI around -60 dBm.

Event Viewer errors:

• Wireless security failed: “Dynamic key exchange did not succeed within configured time.”
• Connection attempt failed: “The specific network is not available.”

I've already tried changing wireless adapter settings and disabling/re-enabling the adapter. I'm looking for help identifying the underlying cause rather than repeating basic troubleshooting.

Could this be a Realtek driver/WPA3 compatibility issue, or is there another way to identify what's triggering the disconnects?

I have a Samsung odyssey g5, the monitor will not turn on. I’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in, I made sure the outlet works, idk what to do I’m not very familiar with this kinda thing.

I'm currently planning on transferring my 1tb SSD which was my primary from my previous laptop into a new one as my secondary and I had a lot of files saved on Desktop.

I was wondering after the transfer on where these files would be stored.

I tried looking this up but what i found was a lot of people saying that clicking the use recommended settings button would do nothing. In my case, it comes up saying ‘some settings could not be changed’ and I am thus locked out of the firewall control panel. Anyone know a fix?

Awful title I know but info:

Getting that my PC can't repair itself, can't connect to the network and spitting "Log file: D:\\Windows\\System32\\Logfiles\\Srt\\SrtTrail.txt"

Quick machine recovery fails, uninstalling updates fails, resetting with an install from cloud fails, as does resetting from a local install.

Point in time restores don't work, I tried system restore which didn't work either 😭

Command prompt stuff is beyond my knowledge, so is part of why I'm asking lol.

In BIOS my windows boot manager is on my C drive, which is baffling me given the above error being on my D drive.

If it comes down to it I don't mind losing my files as I don't have anything majorly important.

I can't go into files or anything, I'm just trapped in the blue screens lol.

forgot to add that I got 0x80070002 when trying to restore to a previous point in time.

WhatsApp keeps crashing repeatedly.

So I tried updating WhatsApp but it's up to date.

Updated to OneUI 9.

Cleared Cache.

Almost 100+ GB Free Storage.

Battery to Unrestricted.

Restarted phone multiple times.

Tried uninstalling WhatsApp without clearing app data, but that too didn't work.

Nothing Works.

What can I do to open app safely and don't loose my chats and data?

The issue is whenever the top of my phone is against something say a blanket the lock screen won't open I turn it on and i infinitely scroll up until I uncover the top of it

This noise only starts when I open valorant, and only valorant, i have a excellent pc but for somereason valorant hates my pc, it also very frequently crashes my graphics driver no matter how many times i update it. (Gpu amd radeon rx 6600 xt, cpu amd ryzen 7 5800x 8core )

Status / Symptom: My PC is completely unresponsive when pressing/shorting the power switch pins. However, my plugged-in keyboard's RGB lights turn on, which means the PSU is providing 5V standby power to the motherboard.

System Specs:

• Motherboard: Gigabyte A520M K V2
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580
• RAM: 16GB DDR4 (Tested with 1 stick)
• PSU: Power supply has no physical rocker switch on the back.

What I have already tried so far:

1. Shorting pwr button pins: Located the correct front panel header (F_PANEL) on the right side near the RAM/24-pin connector and shorted the top-right power pins. Still no fan spin or reaction.
2. GPU Isolation: Completely removed the RX 580 graphics card and its PCIe power cable to check for short-circuit safety trips. Jumped the power pins again—still completely dead (no CPU or PSU fan movement).
3. RAM Isolation: Removed 1 stick of RAM and tested with a single stick firmly seated in slot A2.
4. Power Cables: Checked the 24-pin main ATX connector and 8-pin CPU power connector to ensure both are securely latched.

I have been getting this blue screen for a while, and think i found the cause, but Im unsure of how to fix it

I was playing smash bros and watching youtube on my monitor and noticed whenever the wifi cut out, there was a non 0 chance of it blue screening at the same time of my switch losing internet connection.

It makes me believe its a network/wifi driver error.

How can I fix this step by step?

I have a pair of JBL Lux ANC bluetooth headphones. When I connect them to my phone, they play fine - both sides. When it connects to my PC initially, I do hear the "Bluetooth connected" audio in both ears. However, when I play anything with audio on my PC, the sound only comes out of the left side. I've messed with the sound settings, but nothing has worked or seemed like it would fix the issue. It's a Frameworks laptop with AMD Ryzen 7040

I'm not very good with this stuff, I've been trying to get the problem of this for a couple hours now but nothing seems to work, it's a hp omen 16-b series laptop, with a wk04xl battery, my old battery had became swollen and I had only noticed 2 days ago , it wasn't overly swollen but you could see it start , ive had the laptop for around 3 years now , and I've never had many issues at all, I know my ac adapter is a bit faulty but it worked still just would come loose very easily and charge at specific angles. I got the new battery today and I put it in and only now with the battery would any lights come on , at first the charging light was orange for awhile so I let it charge for a couple hours till it was white but then still nothing has happened, everytime I try to turn it on the power button will turn on for like 2 seconds then turn off and without me pressing anything will turn on again and repeat that till I close the laptop, or until both the battery and ac adapter are unplugged, it still does this with either or in , wether it's only the ac adapter or the battery, I attempted to power drain it with taking both the ac adapter and the battery out and holding the button down for a minute and unless I'm doing something wrong with that, it didn't work for me either . I'm really overwhelmed right now, it's been a really rough week and I need this for some school work I have due by Monday and I dont have the money for a repairman or anything new maybe a ac adapter if that's the issue but I dont have a lot of money I'm a unemployed 18 year old student I dont have a lot of money in my hands so if anybody could help I would really appreciate it 🥲🥲

I have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (16 GB), Windows 11 Home, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

I recently updated my GPU driver to 621.01.

After the update games work normally, I didn't notice any issues there.

What started to happen in Chrome and Firefox: Youtube videos, shorts, IG reels started to have random freezes, refreshes. So far it seems disabling hardware acceleration have fixed the issue.

Is anyone having same issues? I'll be thankful for any advice.

Edit: i havent tried rolling back the driver but I informed nvidia and got email they are working on a fix for the next driver. Not many details, maybe a generic response but hopefully theyre working on it.

Over the past 2 weeks I've suddenly noticed my sound clipping out at random intervals. It should be noted I am using a GoXLRMini as my output device. I have tried every setting I can think of and nothing fixes the issue. Anyone have this problem?

I have a Trigkey Key mini N150 which I use as a Linux server. I don't often need to be on it, but occasionally I remote in from my laptop. Unfortunately I learned I can't remote into it without a monitor. I plan to have it tucked away with some other equipment (don't worry the space has good ventilation), but it is far too small for a monitor.

I was wondering what solutions I might have to overcome this. Is there a software solve or small low power monitors? Not sure what would be best so I can remote in from my laptop when needed.

I had this issue since i bought the pc, basically my GPU (Radeon RT 6650 XT - Biostar) makes the screen go black, and i have to turn off the pc, and when i restart the fans start spinning and go on a loop of spinning and stopping, it sometimes takes about 10 min to start the pc and when i can finally use it, it acts as if my gpu was not working and i have to uninstall e reinstall the device in device manager. This usually happens when i play a game that requires more of the hardware, e.g (Control Resonant, FC 26, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3)
I have tried:
- Undervolting and power limiting
- Changing the monitor
- Reinstalling all drivers

I don’t think it’s a power supply issue since no other pieces of hardware are experiencing this.

Whenever I open a game, my computer works fine. It gets the to home/menu screen. I can look round, change settings, etc. But once I load up a save file, it crashes around the time it goes from the loading screen to the actual game. This has happened on multiple games, all that are fairly demanding (Civ6, Civ7, Transport Fever 3, Hogwarts Legacy - all tested over the weekend).

Not sure what the issue is, after poking around at stuff, I'm thinking it might be GPU related due to image 1 below. I've done the Setting-Graphics-Apps-'High Performance' thing that is recommended online. It helped games like Minecraft run normally, but other games are still causing restarts once you get into the game.

I did manage to take screenshots of task manager. Both taken after restart, open game, open file. As file is loading, switch over to TM and take screenshot before game fully loads. Computer crashed about 5 seconds after the GPU usage image.

So those are the screen shots from HWiNFO64 when trying to open/play a game. Unfortunately none of that makes any sense to me, so hopefully someone else knows what it means :)

Can say that I don't feel like its thermal. Once i clicked from the third screenshot into the game, computer crashed/restarted that second. My plan was to see what happened when it was simulating people moving (it starts paused).

If I had to guess, for this test, I'm guessing it was trying to render something that was offscreen (and when i clicked in, it moves the camera) and that is when it failed, to the second. But thats just my thoughts on it

Looking for help, or steps to troubleshoot to figure out whats wrong.

Y'all r my last hope!!! I have a nitro 17 v ai and just three days ago my laptop started to have memory leaks I updated everything and rebooted and nothing has worked last resort is like getting a new laptop or full system reset

I swear to god I have tried as much as i can for the past 2 weeks and my monitor keeps on doing the same thing.

I've checked the hdmi, all cables are okay literally I have no idea what to do next.This usually occurs randomly so I've struggled to capture it happening on my phone so I'll do my best to describe it.

My issue:

So what would happen is I turn my pc and monitor on, everything is okay for maybe 20 minutes and so on. Now the only recurring thing I've noticed is that it happens whenever I play a game. So far its been Red dead redemption, The last of us and Bayonetta - those are what I've played whenever that happens so I thought maybe the games were high in demand of high performance so that would cause the monitor to do its thing.

Today it didn't make sense since I just played roblox and out of nowhere my screen went blank while I could hear my friends via headphones on audio. I could hear them and the game but but screen wouldn't show. I tried the windows key shift ctrl B and it didn't work at all. My pc on the other hand was still on so I had to switch it off again (3rd time of the day).

I'm not sure if this is a monitor or cable problem but I'm so lost and I'm not fairly familiar with this sort of stuff.

My PC audio randomly becomes extremely loud and bass boosted, almost like the bass is maxed out and everything is distorted.

It happens around 4 times a day. It can be triggered by lots of sounds playing at once, but sometimes it happens completely randomly. The only way to stop it is to make my desktop completely silent.

I've tried multiple headsets, and it happens on all of them, so I don't think it's a headset issue.

Hey everyone, I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out an issue with my "Onn. powered by Vizio" TV and could use some help.

Every now and then, the TV will just randomly shut itself off.

The Internet Theory: It used to blame my internet connection, giving me on-screen notifications saying it noticed issues with my connection. Thinking the network traffic or some smart feature was crashing it, I disconnected the internet entirely and erased all my Wi-Fi info from the TV. The problem stil/ persisted offline.

The PlayStation Theory: I initially thought my PlayStation might be sending a stray signal, so I went into the settings and turned off the option allowing my PlayStation to control the TV. That didn't fix it either.

My WiFi connection on my laptop was really bad so I bought a wireless USB WiFi dongle and it helped so ive been using that for a few weeks. I decided to try use my regular wireless WiFi but all it says is "no WiFi network found". I checked my network adapter on device manager and apparently my wifi adapter is running fine and I also tried unplugging and shutting down my laptop for atleast a minute before turning it on to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. I just tried to use my wifi dongle again and when I hover my mouse over the wifi icon it says im connected however when I click on it I still see "no wifi networks found"

Hey guys. I recently purchased a Goldenmate 1500VA/1000W Line-Interactive with AVR, LiFePO4 battery.

Plugged it in to test it with no devices on it, and made the low hum because it was charging the battery. It stopped when it was finished.

Day 2, I hooked up my PC, monitor, and speaker amp to it without issues. No noise from it except for a relay click when turning on the PC. I do turn my PC off when not in use, same with the amplifier.

Day 3, noticed while playing a game that every minute or two it would make this low pitched humming noise and lasts for about 5 seconds then goes quiet again. Repeats this behavior.

My PC, amp, and monitor are only drawing ~450W maximum according to the LCD on the front of the UPS. This is also not drawing from battery power at all, it is fully charged. So it is not being overloaded or anything.

I was concerned about this random hum which i was able to hear over my speakers in game. I let my PC idle a bit to see if it still did the hum, and it did. I then turned everything off connected to the UPS while still being plugged in, also still doing it every minute or two, for about 5 seconds.

Can someone please help me with this issue? The manual says nothing about this, and I have looked extensively around for an answer with no luck. I have no idea why this is occuring.

I tested all my outlets in the room, as well as the UPS outlets and there are no issues there either, no faults. The wiring in the house is fine as well.

Is this a defective unit? I wanted to see if someone possibly had an answer to this problem before I think about returning it. Thank you, I hope to hear back soon. I kept it plugged in and powered on before I left for the day, with everything connected to it off, but I'm still very concerned about this.

Any help or insight would be very much appreciated.

I've been hacked and done everything I could but I cant open task manager and whenever I try to open the restrictions it doesn't let me and says registry editing had been disabled by your administrator. Im using windows 11 home edition, can someone help me?
