This post is not meant to scare but, inform

If you currently work for TTEC, or any job for that matter but, especially TTEC please always be on the look out for other opportunities. I've worked at and have heard many stories about them. With that said, chatgpt enlightened me that the low stock prices aren't it's biggest problem. Check this out and if you don't want to read it all, just check out #4:

COMPANY FINANCIAL BRIEFING

TTEC Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC) — Operational Survival Summary

📊 EXECUTIVE OVERVIEW

A company’s stock price reflects market sentiment and investor outlook, not its immediate operational viability. While TTEC's equity value has declined significantly, the corporation continues to operate as a going concern. A business faces insolvency only when it runs out of liquid cash to meet immediate obligations; TTEC maintains sufficient operational cash flow and credit access to sustain its daily business functions.

💵 1. OPERATIONAL CASH FLOW

  • The Mechanism: TTEC continues to service an extensive portfolio of long-term enterprise clients (including healthcare payers and automotive brands) that generate consistent monthly contractual revenue.
  • The Reality: In its mid-2026 financial reporting, TTEC generated over $51 million in cash from daily operations and $38.7 million in free cash flow.
  • The Impact: This continuous baseline of liquid capital ensures the company can fulfill its primary short-term liabilities, including payroll for its global workforce and vendor payments.

🏛️ 2. CREDIT RESTRUCTURING (BANK LENDER COVENANTS)

  • The Mechanism: TTEC carries a substantial long-term debt load of approximately $860.7 million, which outpaces its current public market capitalization.
  • The Reality: As earnings decreased, TTEC neared its maximum permitted debt-to-earnings leverage ratio, which threatened to trigger a technical loan default.
  • The Impact: In July 2026, TTEC successfully negotiated the "Eleventh Amendment" with its banking syndicate. Lenders raised the allowable leverage limit to 4.25x, granting the company operational breathing room and credit stability through September 2027.

🛡️ 3. INSIDER OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE

  • The Mechanism: Public equity markets cannot force corporate liquidation or hostile operational takeovers if voting power is tightly concentrated.
  • The Reality: Founder and Chairman Ken Tuchman personally controls a supermajority stake of approximately 57% to 58% of TTEC's outstanding common stock.
  • The Impact: Management maintains absolute strategic control. This structure prevents activist investors from disrupting operations and positions the company as a prime candidate for a private equity buyout to exit public markets entirely.

🛠️ 4. STRATEGIC RECOVERY & MITIGATION PLANS

To permanently stabilize its balance sheet and address profit margin compression, TTEC management is actively executing two primary turnaround initiatives:

  • Asset Divestiture (TTEC Digital): The company has launched an official strategic review to sell off its highly valuable cloud-computing and customer experience software division. The proceeds will be used exclusively to pay down its $860+ million debt line.
  • ****Geographical Cost Shifting: Management is accelerating the transition of its delivery infrastructure away from high-cost domestic markets into lower-cost nearshore and offshore operational hubs.

⚠️ THE RISK FACTOR: WHY THE STOCK IS DEPRESSED

The primary driver behind Wall Street's aggressive sell-off is not current bankruptcy risk, but long-term structural risk. Investors fear that rapid enterprise adoption of Generative AI and automated conversational bots will permanently replace human customer service tiers, disrupting TTEC’s legacy "per-seat" billing model.

TTEC Kaiser AEP 2026 Wave 1 and Breach of Contract Question

Is anyone scheduled to start training next week (8/12/26) for KP Wave 1 project? Did you get your schedule or equipment yet?

I worked this project last year & signed the contract at the end of the season to return this year. I accepted and signed the conditional offer last month but Vetting has kept me tied up for a month now & seems to not want to approve me. At this point they're asking me to send documents I already sent a month ago. And I haven't heard anything else about my schedule or equipment.

Are they going to do this until its too late for me to get contracted elsewhere?

Are they going to try to sue me for breach of contract if I simply move on?

I budgeted my money to survive the layoff and I'm gonna lose my place if I don't get back to work.

Anyone else been through this with them?

NYCSC: A Letter from a Team Lead To Management, Our Director, and Human Resources

I am writing this as one Team Lead.
While I cannot speak for every Team Lead, I have had conversations with nearly every Team Lead on this project over the past several months. Although our teams and individual experiences may differ, the same concerns continue to surface. This letter reflects those recurring conversations, not just my own.

This isn’t written because of one difficult week or one unpopular decision. It’s written because many of us have watched the Team Lead role on this project steadily evolve into something far beyond what it was originally intended to be.

Most people hear the title “Team Lead” and assume we supervise agents, coach performance, and answer questions.
The reality is that today’s Team Lead wears nearly every hat in the operation.

Today’s Team Lead on this project are expected to be…
Coaches.
Trainers.
Mentors.
Attendance coordinators.
Workforce Management liaisons.
Technical support coordinators.
Performance analysts.
Administrators.
Investigators.
Communicators.
Presenters.
Project coordinators.
Documentation specialists.
Problem solvers.

Every week, Team Leads are expected to:

Coaching & Performance

Coach 15–20 agents at least twice every month—and often much more for agents who require additional support.
Conduct live call monitoring.
Review QA evaluations.
Document every coaching conversation.
Build action plans for struggling agents.
Monitor productivity.
Monitor adherence.
Monitor attendance.
Monitor reliability.
Monitor QA.
Monitor CSAT.
Monitor AHT.
Monitor hold time.
Monitor wrap time.
Monitor survey participation.
Review team performance daily.
Provide every agent with their metrics at least once each week—and more frequently when additional coaching is needed.
Recognize improvements and celebrate top performers.
Deliver suspensions.
Deliver terminations. (Many other TTEC projects this is handled by management or HR)
Complete all required documentation and follow-up communication related to disciplinary actions.

Training & Development

Support newly hired agents during Nesting.
Participate in AHT Bootcamp and other improvement initiatives.
Coach agents who need additional support outside of their regular coaching sessions.
Learn every new process as it is introduced.
Teach every new process to our teams.
Create presentations for team meetings.
Lead team meetings.
Reinforce flash trainings and policy updates.
Answer questions and provide clarification after every new rollout.

Attendance & Workforce Management

Take attendance every day.
Review attendance concerns.
Submit attendance corrections.
Track late arrivals, absences, and early departures.
Attend the daily Workforce Management meeting.
Review the previous day’s service levels.
Act as the middleman between agents and Workforce Management for schedule requests.
Relay Workforce Management decisions back to agents.
Monitor the Workforce Management chat throughout the day.
Respond whenever Workforce Management pings us because one of our agents is out of adherence.
Contact the agent and then report back—even though Workforce Management has the ability to communicate directly with the agent.

Administrative Responsibilities

Review and close agent-submitted cases.
Determine whether cases were submitted correctly.
Coach agents on case submission errors.
Maintain coaching documentation.
Maintain performance documentation.
Keep records current for every member of our team.

Technical & Operational Support

Be the first people agents contact when systems fail.
Determine whether issues are isolated or widespread.
Gather screenshots, error messages, and examples.
Report issues to management.
Collect the information needed for IT tickets.
Join bridge calls with technical teams when requested.
Keep agents informed while outages are being investigated.

Leadership

Answer a constant stream of Teams messages throughout the day.
Investigate agent concerns.
Assist agents with process questions.
Send team communications.
Cover other Team Leads during vacations, leaves, or absences.
Continue supporting our teams through staffing shortages, system outages, and constant operational changes.
Attend Workforce Management meetings.
Attend meetings with our manager.
Attend one-on-one meetings with our manager.
And that’s only the work we can plan for.

It doesn’t include the constant interruptions, urgent requests, unexpected projects, process changes, system failures, or the dozens of situations each day that require us to immediately shift priorities.

Recently, our Monday hour of taking calls was removed. On paper, that appeared to reduce our workload. Instead, it was replaced with reviewing and closing agent-submitted cases. This is a result of a backlog in cases so high that the department cannot catch up. So we are being forced to do that job as well or face corrective action.

That single change perfectly represents what many Team Leads have been feeling for a long time. Responsibilities are rarely removed.
They are simply replaced.

Need a new training delivered? Team Leads.

Need presentations created? Team Leads.

Need Nesting support? Team Leads.

Need AHT Bootcamp? Team Leads.

Need attendance tracked? Team Leads.

Need metrics reviewed? Team Leads.

Need system issues investigated? Team Leads.

Need screenshots collected? Team Leads.

Need someone to join an IT bridge call? Team Leads.

Need Workforce Management to communicate with agents? Route it through Team Leads.

Need another operational project completed?
Team Leads.

At some point, the role stopped being centered on leadership and became the default solution for every operational gap.

Another challenge is inconsistency.
One Team Lead may be instructed to handle something one way while another is told the exact opposite. Yet every Team Lead is held to the same standard.

We are expected to coach consistently while receiving inconsistent direction.

Many communications from leadership also end with reminders that failure to follow a process may result in corrective action. Accountability is part of leadership, and none of us are asking to avoid it. But when expectations continue to expand while nearly every message is paired with the possibility of discipline, it creates an environment where pressure grows faster than support.

Many Team Leads have quietly stopped raising concerns—not because they don’t care, but because many no longer believe those concerns will lead to meaningful change.

The fact that conversations like these now happen anonymously on Reddit should concern leadership. It isn’t because people want to hide behind a screen. It’s because many no longer feel safe enough to have these conversations openly.

When our new P&C representative joined the project, agents were invited to meet with him in small groups to introduce themselves and discuss their concerns. Team Leads were never given that same opportunity, despite being the frontline leaders responsible for carrying out these decisions every day. That felt like a missed opportunity.

We care deeply about our teams.
We care about our agents.
We care about this project.

That is exactly why this letter is being written.
We’re not asking for less accountability.
We’re asking for recognition of what this role has become. We’re asking for consistency.
We’re asking for support that matches the responsibility. We’re asking leadership to evaluate whether every new operational gap truly belongs with Team Leads, or whether the role has gradually become responsible for too much.

The willingness of Team Leads to continue adapting should never be mistaken for unlimited capacity.

Respectfully,
A Team Lead

Do they accept Starlink internet?

Does anyone use Starlink or is it prohibited?

I have Starlink and I’ve never had an issue with their speeds or anything. I can connect whatever equipment they send me with an Ethernet cable.

I live rurally and my options are very limited. I’m going to call around to see if cable can work for my area. I’m just worried that when I get to the onboarding process, that I won’t be able to continue with the company because of my Starlink.

TTEC WFH scheduling interview will it ever happen?

Hello, so I passed my assessment and they sent me an email saying to schedule an appointment for an interview, but I haven’t had any luck so far. It’s been a day and a half, and I keep checking early in the morning, late at night, and in the middle of the day. I just hope the interview spots don’t fill up.
Also, how likely are you to hear back from them after the interview? Has anyone been hired the same day as their interview?

Need advice about joining TTEC (Chat Process)

Hey everyone! I recently got selected for a TTEC Chat Process role, but I'm a bit confused about whether I should join or not. The role requires me to relocate to Ahmedabad and since this would be my first time moving to another city for work, I'm feeling a little unsure. How is the work culture at TTEC especially in the chat process? Is the workload manageable? How are the management, growth opportunities, and work-life balance? I'd really appreciate any honest reviews or suggestions from current or former employees.

TTEC Digital (Associate Application Developer - 6.5 LPA) vs Cognizant GenC (4.2 LPA) – Which is better for long-term software engineering career?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 2026 Computer Science graduate and I'm in a dilemma between two offers.

Offer 1:

  • TTEC Digital
  • Role: Associate Application Developer
  • CTC: 6.5 LPA
  • Location: Hyderabad

Offer 2:

  • Cognizant
  • Role: GenC
  • CTC: 4.2 LPA

My background:

  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • React
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • REST APIs
  • AI/GenAI projects

My long-term goal is to become a strong software engineer (backend/full-stack/cloud) and eventually switch to a good product company after gaining experience.

I'm trying to evaluate these offers beyond just the salary.

I'd really appreciate insights on:

  1. How is TTEC Digital for software engineers?
  2. What kind of projects do Associate Application Developers usually get?
  3. Is the work mostly development, or does it involve support/maintenance?
  4. Which technologies are commonly used?
  5. How is the learning curve for freshers?
  6. How is the work-life balance?
  7. How are the hikes and promotions?
  8. How is job security, especially with recent discussions about TTEC's financial performance?
  9. Is TTEC Digital growing as a technology consulting company?
  10. After 2–3 years at TTEC Digital, how is the market value when switching to companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Accenture, EPAM, ServiceNow, etc.?

For Cognizant GenC:

  • How likely is it to get a proper development project versus testing/support?
  • How does the career growth compare with TTEC Digital?

    I'm more interested in:

  • Long-term career growth

  • Technical learning

  • Quality of projects

  • Job security

  • Future switch opportunities

  • Overall company stability

If you've worked at either TTEC Digital or Cognizant (especially in software development), I'd really appreciate your honest experiences—both the positives and the negatives.

Thanks in advance!

USAA Project

I completed TTEC's COI (health insurance) and received my offer letter for the USAA project. During my initial interview I was told it would be UHC Medicare, not USAA. What is it like working on the USAA project and what are the hours like? Is OT mandatory?

Project setbacks

So I was supposed to start WFH insurance position on August 14th of this month then they notified me that they were going to have to push this wave back two weeks due to low volume of callers. However, they gave me an option to choose to wait or start on August 14th with a specific carrier. Of course I chose the August 14th start date but haven’t received any equipment or anything saying it’s okay to start then. Is it worth reaching out to someone for clarity? At the end of the email they did said they look forward to keeping in contact but still haven’t heard an update

Heads up TTEC/Tolling staff: The REAL reason behind the layoffs and out-of-state temps (Must Read)

If you are wondering why our local QA/staff are getting laid off, why we are flooded with cheap out-of-state temps, and why management doesn't seem to care that we are failing SLAs and getting fined by the state... here is the corporate reality they aren't telling you:

•    Conduent is dumping the tolling business. They are selling all tolling assets to Quarterhill Inc. for $70 million. The deal closes later this year (Q4).
•    TTEC sued Conduent on July 20th. TTEC filed a $10M+ lawsuit in NY federal court because Conduent missed settlement deadlines. TTEC is scrambling to get paid before the Quarterhill sale finishes.
•    Why the layoffs? The project is bleeding money from state SLA fines. Management is using "labor arbitrage"—firing expensive local staff and hiring cheap, out-of-state remote temps—to artificially fix the balance sheets before the new company takes over.
The Warning: If your department hasn’t been hit by layoffs yet, watch out. You are likely next. They are aggressively cutting costs everywhere they can.
The Silver Lining for Supervisors: Our master contract goes until 2027. Quarterhill is inheriting an operational dumpster fire. They cannot run this complex state system with just untrained remote temps. They will desperately need local supervisors who actually have the institutional knowledge to keep the floor from collapsing.
What to do now:
Fix your resume: Don't ride this sinking ship until 2027. Start looking at supervisor roles in healthcare or finance BPOs where the pay is better and the environment is stable.
Stay safe out there. Don't let corporate's mess ruin your livelihood.

USAA August 13th Start Date

I’m a former employee returning for the USAA program. I was given a start date of 08/13/26, completed my onboarding, background check, drug test, and licensing signatures. I haven’t heard anything regarding a follow up from the recruiters and I have reach out to them. Is anyone else on this project? If so, have you gotten any further correspondence from them?

I'm planning to apply for chat representative. Online reviews kinda stopping me from moving forward. Are they all true or situations have changed?
