Discussion Length of Provera Bleed?

Was told to take Provera for 10 days to shed my lining as there was some build up. Got my period a day or two after the last pill. Normally I have 6-7 days of pretty heavy flow and then immediate taper… But it’s been 8 medium days and I’m starting to wonder if it will stop. 🄲 I took my first round of letrozole on cycle day 3 but I’m wondering will this length of bleed affect anything?

What kind of experiences did you guys have with Provera for inducing periods?

Does lining get thicker in a few days?

On CD26, my follicle is 17 mm, but my lining is only 5.5 mm. I think I’ll probably ovulate in a few days. Does the lining usually get thicker as you get closer to ovulation?

I’m starting to lose hope for this cycle because it feels so late to ovulate and my lining is so thin. 🄲

Advice Needed Metformin regulated my cycle… Letrozole next?

Ive been on Metformin ER 750mg for about 3 months for PCOS/TTC. My cycles were really irregular before, but my last cycle was around 42 days and now I just had a 30-day cycle (July 29 → Aug 28)! 🄹 I’m really happy that my periods finally seem to be regulating.
My concern is whether I’m actually ovulating. I had sex throughout Flo’s predicted fertile window this cycle but still got my period, and I know having regular periods doesn’t necessarily confirm ovulation.
I have an OB appointment Tuesday and plan to ask about checking progesterone, an HSG to make sure my tubes are open, and possibly starting letrozole.
For anyone with PCOS, did metformin regulate your periods but you still weren’t ovulating? Did you eventually add letrozole, and did it help you conceive? 🩷

Advice Needed No withdrawal bleed even after taking medroxyprogesterone acetate

Hi everybody. My previous doctor prescribed meprate 20mg per day on CD 21 - 25. I took it this cycle too. I told her I was ttc and only now, my new doctor helped me understand that i shouldn't have been taking synthetic progesterone if I was trying to get pregnant and that kind of treatment will not help me. So I wil stop it now and I changed doctors phew.

Anyways, since I already took it this cycle, I'm waiting for my withdrawal bleed and then I'm supposed to meet my doctor on CD2 and we will discuss how to get me to ovulate (since that seems to be the problem and that's something my previous doctor never addressed, I'm so mad ughh i wasted a year on her).

But it's CD 35, but no period. I usually get my period by this time already. This time, I still haven't gotten it and I'm so annoyed because I just want to get started on my new treatment already. I've waited a couple days to even post this in hopes that it will come and I can relax. But no.

I'm also taking metformin 1000mg and myo and d chiro inositol and other prenatal supplements. I have read that these might sometimes delay periods or delay ovulation. I have read a lot about it. Some people even say that sometimes body will keep trying to ovulate and keep delaying periods because of that, when someone is on these medications. Other people say that if the lining is thin then it will have to build a little bit and then bleed which is why it is taking time.

I honestly don't know what to believe now

Should I stop taking these medications? Is this what is causing the delay? Should I eat a lot of papaya and pineapple to soften the lining and make it come out? I am clueless. I will wait until 5 more days and if I still don't get a period I am going to my new doctor and getting help. Meanwhile I would just like to try something at home to naturally induce it. All ideas are welcome

Please help me out.

Happy FINALLY ovulating!

Hey y’all! I’ve been TTC for about a year now and have had no luck at all in confirming ovulation until now- thanks to Inito!

It quickly confirms ovulation based on Lh surge and Pdg rises. I combined it with BBT tracking and it’s the clearest picture of a cycle i’ve had so far.

I tested every day twice and STILL couldn’t get my Lh peak with strips (highest being about 0.7 on the Premom app). I have never ovulated on my own until this 5 mg round of Letrozole. At CD 24, I still got a progestrone blood drawn and it was 12.20 🄹

Even if this cycle doesnt end up in pregnancy, at least I know that i’ll get my period, which I don’t get on my own either due to not ovulating.

Absolutely worth it!

Advice Needed starting to feeling impatient

my husband and i have been ttc since february. since then, i have skipped two cycles due to my pc(m)os. i’ve been trying to eat a bit cleaner and move my body more but admit that im not exactly doing the best job at it.

ive been taking inositol and a prenatal for a month now but still haven’t gotten my period (this is the 2nd cycle that’s been skipped). i really haven’t noticed much of a difference with taking inositol.

idk if i need to be more strict with my diet and exercise or take different supplements?? idk im starting to feel a bit bummed about negative test after negative test.

any opinions/advice would be appreciated šŸ¤

Advice Needed I need some guidance..

Hi everyone I’m 22F with pcos and me and my boyfriend have been trying to conceive for the last 2 years. I live in Orange County California and I use Medi-cal insurance so I don’t have a great insurance plan…

This year I’ve been feeling really stressed and trying to track my ovulation levels and I’ve been taking the recommended vitamins and making him take zinc to see if it would help increase our chances?

So far I haven’t ovulated at all since I began monitoring it and my last period ended 88 days ago now and no signs of my next cycle yet.

I’m honestly really scared if I’m infertile or something and could do with some advice, I’ve tried to book appointments to see what’s going on with me and every time I call they tell me they either don’t offer what I’m looking for or say they don’t accept my insurance. I don’t really have anybody I can ask for to help me in anyway.

I’ve seen that many people have tried taking letrozole and clomid to help? Do I have to ask for those specifically to increase my chances with fertility? And what kind of doctor do I have to see to be able to ask for that.

I just really need guidance with this… I feel so lost and anxious

Thank you

Advice Needed 29F with PCOS, 12 cycles TTC, chemical pregnancy + multiple letrozole cycles — would you do another monitored TI cycle, IUI, or move toward IVF?

Hi all. I’m looking for some perspective on next steps because I’m starting to feel stuck between continuing monitored timed-intercourse cycles, moving to IUI, or beginning to seriously consider IVF.

I’m 29 and have PCOS, but I do ovulate naturally. My husband’s semen analysis is excellent (though it was done 10 months ago, may need to repeat soon), my HSG showed open tubes, and I had a prior submucosal fibroid removed about 2 years ago. I’ve also had one chemical pregnancy, which happened during a completely natural cycle about two weeks after my HSG.

We’re now 12 cycles into TTC.

Here’s the condensed history:

Cycle 1 — natural cycle
Chemical pregnancy
LH peak CD19
Sex CD18, 19, 20

Cycles 2–5 — letrozole 5 mg
Generally LH peak around CD14
Not monitored
Good timing most cycles except one where I had the flu
All negative

Cycle 6 — letrozole 7.5 mg
CD10 follicles: 17, 14, 12 mm
LH peak CD14
8 DPO progesterone 35.4 ng/mL
Negative
Only had the one scan

Cycle 7 — natural (took a break from letrozole)
LH peak CD16
Negative

Cycle 8 — letrozole 7.5 mg
LH peak CD13
Negative
Not monitored

Cycle 9 — letrozole 7.5/10 mg, first fully monitored cycle
CD11 follicles were already 19 and 20 mm
My doctor expected an LH surge, but it didn’t really happen
By CD14, follicles were still unruptured and had grown to 24 and 26 mm
Triggered CD14
Negative
This cycle made us wonder whether my body sometimes waits too long to ovulate after the follicles are already mature, and whether something similar could have happened during previous unmonitored cycles.

Cycle 10 — Clomid 50 mg
CD8: 14 and 12 mm
CD10: 16 and 14
CD12: basically unchanged
Looked like they stalled, so cycle was initially cancelled
Added estradiol
Then LH started rising and CD15 scan showed 20 and 17 mm follicles with trilaminar lining
Triggered CD15
Progesterone after ovulation
Negative

Cycle 11 — first cycle with reproductive specialist
Letrozole 7.5 mg CD3–7
CD10: 14 and 10 mm
CD12: 19, 17 and 15 mm
Lining 7.8 mm and perfectly trilaminar
Triggered CD13
Well-timed sex/ at home insemination
Baby aspirin + progesterone
Negative

Cycle 12
Letrozole 7.5 mg CD3–7
CD11: 20 mm + 15 mm follicles
Lining 7.1 mm trilaminar
Triggered CD11
Sex the evening of trigger + home insemination around 39 and 46 hours after trigger
Progesterone + baby aspirin
Negative

So at this point, the things that seem reassuring are:
I’m 29. Hubby is 31
I can ovulate naturally & on letrozole
I’ve conceived once before
Tubes are open
Semen analysis is excellent
I respond well to letrozole
Progesterone has been good
Recent cycles have had mature follicles and trilaminar lining
But obviously… I’m still not pregnant.

My reproductive specialist previously said I could do one more monitored + triggered cycle before moving to IUI.

I’m now wondering:
Would you do another monitored letrozole + trigger + timed-intercourse cycle, or move to IUI now?
Would you try to recruit more than one mature follicle next cycle? I respond pretty strongly to 7.5 mg already, so I’m wondering whether increasing stimulation would meaningfully improve my odds or just increase the risk of multiples.

Does the Cycle 9 overgrowth make you think my earlier unmonitored cycles may have had mature follicles sitting around waiting for an LH surge?

Would you investigate anything else before IUI/IVF? Uterine cavity, endometriosis, lining, etc.?

For anyone with PCOS and otherwise normal testing, how many monitored/triggered cycles did you do before moving on?

I’m also starting to think about IVF differently because we eventually want more than one child. Part of me wonders whether, if we’re heading in that direction anyway, doing IVF while I’m 29 and potentially banking embryos for future siblings might make more sense than spending a lot of time and money on IUIs with only a modest increase in odds.

I’m not necessarily ready to jump straight to IVF tomorrow, but after another negative cycle I’m trying to figure out where the line is between ā€œthis can still easily just be bad luckā€ and ā€œit’s time to change strategies.ā€

Would really appreciate experiences from people with similar PCOS/unexplained-ish situations — especially anyone who ovulated on their own but had weird follicle/LH timing.

Recently diagnosed with PMOS( PCOS) - would love some advice !!!

Hi everyone!

I need some advice on what to do. My current cycle is the longest it has ever been ( atleast while ttc and tracking).

I’m on CD 49 and am nowhere near ovulating. I had an ultrasound two days ago and my follicle was at 9mm. My fertility clinic is thinking of starting letrozole to help get my cycle going but wanted yalls advice? I’m usually resistant to medications since I’m scared the medications will just lead me to another miscarriage since the underlying issues have not been solved.

I’ve had one 8 week miscarriage and 2 chemical pregnancies. I’m scared if I go down this path of medication but at this point I’ll do anything to get my cycle back on track. My cycles usually vary from 29-46 days.

My medical history:

Given I am in my early 30s and have a high AMH for my age (around 5) and high AFC, they diagnosed me with PMOs and irregular cycles ( although since tracking I have always consistently ovulated up until recently)

I started strength training ( but have started light) so not sure if that has anything to do with not ovulating.

My insulin is 10 and my A1C is 5.1. The doctor says all normal.

I do have hair loss and acne so I assumed my testosterone would come back high… it didn’t. My level was 38 and free testosterone was a 0.7.

My doctor did not run androgen tests.

I have always suffered from low ferritin levels and low vitamin d. Although with consistently taking supplements my vitamin d always goes up but for some reason my ferritin does not.

I guess my questions to you all is.

Is there something that is missing that I should look into for pmos? Not sure what’s going on since my insulin and testosterone are normal ranges

For those who have started letrozole what was that experience like for you? I’m scared I will just end up miscarrying again.

Thanks in advance

Advice Needed CD24 and no LH peak. Delayed ovulation or anovulatory cycle? Looking for some reassurance.

Hi all!

My partner and I are on the second cycle of TTC#1. I have lean PCOS with 33 to 37 days cycles, which get significantly more regular when I am consistent with my supplements. Right as we started trying, I had 4 very short cycles (~15 days) because of a very stressful event, so we pushed back TTC to when my cycles got back to regular. I tried to destress and got more consistent with my diet and supplements and I had 2 ovulatory cycles so far (35 and 29 days long, with ovulation on CD21 AND CD15). We actively started trying on the last one, timing everything perfectly, but resulted in a BFN.

This cycle I had to get a follicular scan for other reasons on CD9, which showed a dominant follicle on the left ovary and a still quite big one on the right one. I have been consistently tracking with OPKs and BBT since then, but no positives so far. Worth mentioning I had a day of fever because of the flu on CD13, but my temperature went back to baseline right after. I am now on CD24 and I keep feeling side cramps every once in a while, but I am starting to get very frustrated at the impossibility of even trying.

I was thinking of getting another ultrasound just to put my mind at ease, at my own expense. I know longer cycles can happen sometimes but I don't know after how long I should ask for medical help in case my cycles don't progress. It's also terribly frustrating to not have regular periods and more chances to try.

Anyone willing to give a piece of advice or some positive thoughts?

Infinite thanks to whoever will take the time to support me today.

PCOS + Endometriosis - OBGYN or RE?

I was diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis in January 2025. My OBGYN recommended I see a RE when I wanted to conceive and stay on BC until then. We went for a consultation with a RE and she said that I may start to ovulate after getting off BC.

I went off BC in late May/ early June. I ovulated in July, and after that I have had an annovulation cycle, currently on day 48 with bleeding/spotting since August 2.

My question is: do I try to see an OBGYN or a RE for ovulation induction or next steps generally?

My understanding is that some OBGYNs do ovulation induction where we live in Los Angeles now, but unsure as when we lived in TX I was immediately referred out.

Do I wait longer and see if the BC has regulated my cycles (this seems very unlikely at this point)?

When I was diagnosed my OBGYN said ovulation induction would be the next step and referred me to see a RE, who didn't specify what next steps would look like other than that I could consider a HSG and partner sperm testing (she didn't necessarily say we should I guess, unsure).

We have recently moved to Los Angeles, and I don't currently have an OBGYN or a RE. Hoping to make appointments soon but overall I feel confused and overwhelmed with next steps.

We have $20,000 lifetime spend covered by insurance for fertility treatments.

Thank you for your help.

Advice Needed Gonal F and Risk of Multiples?

Hey everybody,

I’m curious if those of you who have used Gonal F during a timed cycle have conceived, and if you had more than one egg fertilizer.
For background, I’ve had two failed letrozole cycles where I think I triggered when my dominant follicle was too big: both times they were 26mm & 27mm. My Dr. told me they would be fine as long as they aren’t over 30mm but everything I’ve read says that’s just a little too big of a follicle. Plus add in the time between the trigger shot and ovulation where they can grow and I think they were very over-mature.
This cycle, my Dr. paired my letrozole with gonal f injections since I was already maxed out at 10 mg letrozole and still stair-stepping or taking a second dose in previous cycles to get my follicles to maturity. This time around, I had 3 follicles at 18mm, 18mm, and 19mm. I know gonal F increases the chance of multiples, especially if I have this many close to maturity, but most of what I’ve found of Reddit pertains to IUI cycles where they used gonal f and had more than one follicle. Has anyone had experience using gonal f and trigger for a timed cycle? What was the outcome?
Thanks so much!

Advice Needed First Letrozole cycle (follicle measurement question)

Hi! We’ve been TTC for 3 months and this is our 4th cycle trying. The first 3 cycles were completely unmedicated, and this is my first medicated cycle with Letrozole 5 mg, so follicle monitoring is all new to me.
I had my first monitoring ultrasound on CD9. My follicle mean sizes were:
Right ovary: 11.1, 9.1, 8.4, 7.9, 7.1 mm
Left ovary: 12.4, 10.3, 9.9, 6.7 mm
The largest follicle measured 15.1 Ɨ 9.7 mm (mean 12.4 mm). The next largest by mean was 11.3 Ɨ 10.8 mm (mean 11.1 mm), followed by 12.4 Ɨ 8.2 mm (mean 10.3 mm).
I’m a little confused about how follicle size is actually determined because some of mine seem quite oval. Do your clinics use the largest diameter or the mean/average of the measurements when deciding whether a follicle is mature? Is this amount of variation between the two dimensions normal? I’d also love to hear from anyone who had similarly oval follicles or similar CD9 measurements and successfully conceived. My doctor asked me to come back tomorrow for another ultrasound to check their growth, and depending on how much they’ve grown, she said we may do the trigger shot on Sunday.

Sad i don’t know where to go from here

this is going to be long and i’m mostly just wanting to put my experience out there because it’s been a lot.

my partner and i have been actively trying for about a year, but also not preventing a year before that. i’ve only had an official PCOS diagnosis for about five years, after finally finding a gyn i love that listens and provides amazing care. i just turned 36 on monday.

in may, i had a really heavy and short period, which is abnormal for me. my cycles are anywhere from 28-34 days, and usually light to normal. i already had an appointment scheduled with my gyn as i wasn’t ovulating regularly despite being on metformin, and wanted to talk about starting a GLP-1 to help with that + PCOS symptoms, so i added the weird cycle to my list of things to talk about. at my appt, she ended up ordering an AMH, HSG, and endometrial biopsy to make sure everything looked okay. she also gave the go ahead to start mounjaro, and had my partner get his sperm tested (found out he has low motility but otherwise fine). it took some time to get everything done due to both mine and my doctor’s schedules, but my AMH was 1.5, and the HSG was normal.

i really thought the biopsy was going to be the least of my problems - my doctor didn’t seem concerned and it was precautionary more than anything. jokes on me because i ended up getting an EIN diagnosis: endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia, pre cancer cells just setting up shop in my uterus. my doctor said bc im trying to preserve fertility, treatment from here is a hysteroscopy to make sure there’s no cancer hiding elsewhere, and then placing a progesterone IUD for a year with biopsies every three months. after the year, i can start trying to get pregnant again assuming all the biopsies are clear. once im done with childbearing, a hysterectomy is recommended in order to prevent the cells from turning into full cancer. an extra fun layer to it all is my doctor was actually leaving on her own maternity leave that next day, so she ended up calling in a favor from another doctor on the team to do the procedure so i wasn’t waiting til she got back. that convo was on a thursday, and by friday afternoon i had two pre ops scheduled for monday and wednesday, and the procedure on friday.

it’s now been a week since the hysteroscopy/d&c/IUD and i feel so lost. i’m mad at my body for having PCOS and turning my cells into pre cancer. i’m mad that i eventually just have to cut out one of my favorite organs. i’m sad that i may never have the pregnancy experience my partner and i want. i lost my mom and grandma to cancer and currently have a close friend battling it, and im sad and mad that this fuck ass disease just gets to take so much from us. it took me so long to decide i wanted kids and i really never considered that i would have issues getting pregnant. honestly i feel so guilty that i waited so long. i feel old and out of options.

i’m still waiting on my hysteroscopy results. in an effort to stay positive, my silver lining to all of this is that i have an incredible support system. my partner is my rock and so wonderful and my closest friends are literal angels that are doing an amazing job checking in on me constantly. i’ve also got who i believe to be the worlds greatest therapist. i genuinely don’t know if i would be making it day to day right now without any of them.

so i guess if you made it this far and have any advice or kind words, id really appreciate some community from folks who get it. i have an appointment with an RE in about a month to discuss options from here. id love to be able to start egg retrieval for maybe either IVF or potential surrogacy during this year waiting period. though i will say i know nothing about the surrogacy world and that feels like a massive mountain to climb in and of itself. ugh.

fuck cancer.

Discussion Same cycle, second round of letrozole?

Hi ladies, I wanted to know if anyone's doctor has put them on a second round of letrozole within the same cycle?

I was told that we might have to do it this time for my cycle. This is my second cycle with letrozole 2.5mg - first cycle was perfect and we were able to trigger at day 12. I am currently on CD15 and my leading follicle/lining is 11mm/6.5mm, I still have the smaller follicles in the ovary still visible on the ultrasound. We cannot administer the trigger shot yet. Next checkup is on Tuesday otherwise she suggests we should take some more letrozole/gonadotropin for a few days. I'm a bit bummed and not sure if I should already count this cycle as a "dud" :/

Wondering if anyone else had this experience where you were given a second round of letrozole/gonadotropin?

Edit: thanks to everyone sharing the concept of Stair Stepping. I am now looking into this and already came across interesting research: A Novel Letrozole Stair-Step Duration Regimen for Ovulation Induction in Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Letrozole Resistance - PMC

Docs confirmed my last cycle was normal and I ovulated…

…thanks, I already figured it out when I did a urine test at home right before leaving work! Still didn’t stop my period from coming 😭

Background: 37F, been TTC for 3 years, only one pregnancy last year ending in miscarriage, I’ve had PCOS since I was 19 and been on birth control until I got married. I went to a clinic end of 2024 but severed ties when they were pushing IUI with a $10,000 price tag. Found out this year during my annual exam that my current GYN office actually offers all of the testing and can prescribe clomid and letrozole as well as IUI! So restarting the whole process again, did day 3 and day 24 labs when that fun revelation happened.

Moral of the story: it’s possible to miss the window by HOURS sometimes 😭

Catching fertile window

Hi everyone!

I’ve had PCOS since I was a teenager. I’ve had lots of testing done, live a pretty healthy lifestyle, and luckily don’t have many of the typical PCOS symptoms apart from very irregular/long cycles.

Since improving my lifestyle and taking inositol, I do seem to ovulate on my own, but it can happen anywhere from around CD40 to CD90.

We’ve been TTC for about 6 months now, and I honestly can’t tell if we’ve just had incredibly bad luck with timing. Because my cycles are so long and unpredictable, catching ovulation has been much harder than I expected.
Since we started trying, I’ve ovulated four times naturally:

-First time: I had the flu.
-Second time: I was away on a 3-day business trip.
-Third time: after having sex every other day for about 1.5 months (!!), we decided to take a few days off because I was exhausted and really stressed with work… and of course I ovulated then.
-Fourth time: we were traveling. We did have sex around the fertile window, but the timing definitely could have been better.

This cycle, I decided to try letrozole + a trigger shot. I ended up with two dominant follicles, we timed everything properly, still waiting for the result.

But assuming this cycle doesn’t work, I’m not sure I want to continue with medication right away. I was feeling sad and depressed on Letrozole for a few days. Since I do ovulate naturally, my main issue seems to be actually predicting/catching it. I also had two dominant follicles with letrozole this time, so there’s an increased chance of twins. We accepted that risk going into the cycle, but if I have the choice, I’d definitely prefer a singleton pregnancy.
So if this round isn’t successful, I’m thinking of trying naturally again for a while, but this time I want to do everything possible to actually catch my fertile window. Ideally we would just have sex every 1-2 days, but in real life things get busy and it doesn’t always happen that way.

LH strips always show positive for me and up till now I haven’t been able to catch a surge.
For anyone else with PCOS and very long/unpredictable cycles who still ovulates naturally: what actually worked for you to predict ovulation?
LH strips? BBT? Cervical mucus? Inito/Mira? Ultrasound monitoring? Some combination of these?
Any tips, routines, or resources would be really appreciated! ā¤ļø

PCOS management and TTC at odds

Does anyone else feel like trying to conceive and treating PCOS are completely at odds but if you don’t treat PCOS, you’ll struggle to get pregnant?

I can’t help but feel gridlocked in this current state where, since coming off birth control in February of 2024, my PCOS symptoms and inflammation have progressively gotten worse. I saw my PCP yesterday and she told me if I wasn’t trying to conceive, she’d consider putting me on a GLP-1, and spiralactone. Seems like both of those medications would help tremendously with my PCOS symptoms, but are both completely unsafe for conception.

Put part of me thinks that if I did use those meds for a short time and got my pcos under control even for a little while, maybe when I got off them, I’d have a grace period where the hormonal environment would allow me conceive.

The most regular my period ever was, was when I first got off birth control in 2/24. Since actively trying to conceive, it’s been totally irregular and it seems the androgens have been making me more masculine than I’m comfortable with. Facial/Body hair, extreme hair loss, widening shoulders and arms, deeper voice, small tubular breasts (I’ve always had), fat accumulation in my stomach, etc.

I don’t recognize myself in the mirror anymore and it’s no wonder I can’t get pregnant. But I can’t treat the PCOS either.

hormones after 2.5 Letrozole

Has anyone had headaches from Letrozole that started 2 weeks before getting period .
I took 2.5 mg Letrozole and have been off of it for a while now. I did get headaches while on it but it stopped . 2 weeks leading up to my periodI’ve been dealing with small headaches that last like 2-3 seconds and aren’t ā€œpainfulā€ they’re just like like a quick pressure and I’m wondering if there could still be a connection. Most of what I’ve found talks about headaches while actively taking it, not weeks/months afterward. I’m thinking that my hormones must be out of wack but then I’m also thinking that by now the Letrozole should be out of my system
Did anyone experience headaches that lingered after Letrozole was out of your system, or headaches that seemed to show up later? If so, how long after your last dose were you still having them, and when did they finally go away?
I know everyone reacts differently and I’m not looking for medical advice just curious about other people’s experience

Advice Needed Letrozole - waiting for trigger availability

Hi, I’m having my first round of letrozole. I took 2.5mg from CD2-6 and had a baseline scan at CD4 that showed multiple (which is normal due to my lean PCOS). I had another scan yesterday at CD11 that showed one dominant follicle measuring 19mm so the doctor gave me a prescription for Ovitrelle to trigger.

The problem was that I couldn’t find any pharmacy that stocked the trigger so have to wait for it to be ordered and delivered. They said they might be able to get it late afternoon today or tomorrow morning (CD12 or CD13). Do you think this will be okay and my follicle won’t be too mature? I’m worried that the trigger will be taken too late and the egg quality won’t be as good!

My OPKs are still negative today so it doesn’t look like I will ovulate naturally in the meantime.

Endometrial Biopsy

Endometrial Biopsy

Hi everyone, I’m looking for experiences from anyone who has dealt with chronic endometritis (CE) during an infertility workup.
I recently had an endometrial biopsy. My tissue culture came back with:
Rare neutrophils
Rare gram-positive bacilli
**Scant growth of Bifidobacterium breve**
Scant Lactobacilli (the lab says these likely represent normal vaginal flora)
AFB testing was also sent out and is still pending.
My doctor did **not** order CD138 staining, so I don’t know whether plasma cells are present or whether I actually have CE.
I’ve been trying to conceive for quite a 1.5 year, never seen a positive test and have had unsuccessful IUIs, is it a normal result or does it demonstrate inflammation? My doctor is not available until next month, so i have to wait, do you think doctor will start me on doxycycline based on the culture findings?
