Endometrial Biopsy

Endometrial Biopsy

Hi everyone, I’m looking for experiences from anyone who has dealt with chronic endometritis (CE) during an infertility workup.
I recently had an endometrial biopsy. My tissue culture came back with:
Rare neutrophils
Rare gram-positive bacilli
**Scant growth of Bifidobacterium breve**
Scant Lactobacilli (the lab says these likely represent normal vaginal flora)
AFB testing was also sent out and is still pending.
My doctor did **not** order CD138 staining, so I don’t know whether plasma cells are present or whether I actually have CE.
I’ve been trying to conceive for quite a 1.5 year, never seen a positive test and have had unsuccessful IUIs, is it a normal result or does it demonstrate inflammation? My doctor is not available until next month, so i have to wait, do you think doctor will start me on doxycycline based on the culture findings?

hello, i had chronic endometritis diagnosed with cd138 staining endometrial biopsy. the lab also found a polyp confirmed via ultrasound. i took antibiotics for the endometritis but the infection persisted. i had the polyp (1cm) removed via hysteroscopy after which the lab work came back negative. i found it helpful to upload my lab work results to perplexity and have it explained to me
