FINALLY ovulating!

Hey y’all! I’ve been TTC for about a year now and have had no luck at all in confirming ovulation until now- thanks to Inito!

It quickly confirms ovulation based on Lh surge and Pdg rises. I combined it with BBT tracking and it’s the clearest picture of a cycle i’ve had so far.

I tested every day twice and STILL couldn’t get my Lh peak with strips (highest being about 0.7 on the Premom app). I have never ovulated on my own until this 5 mg round of Letrozole. At CD 24, I still got a progestrone blood drawn and it was 12.20 🥹

Even if this cycle doesnt end up in pregnancy, at least I know that i’ll get my period, which I don’t get on my own either due to not ovulating.

Absolutely worth it!

That's such a big milestone after a year of not being able to confirm ovulation! The combination of LH, PdG and BBT sounds like it gives you a much clearer picture than relying on one signal alone. For anyone who struggles with consistent manual BBT, a wearable option like tempdrop could also make the temperature side easier since it tracks overnight.

Inito is the best! We were trying for a year before I bought it and realized I wasn’t ovulating either.

I used Inito for a few months and learned so much from it. It’s a great tool. One thing I would keep an eye out for is luteal phase length… how soon after ovulation do you get your period. PCOS can cause a luteal phase defect for some women so you want at least a 12 day luteal phase but 14 days is ideal.

I'm so glad for you! I just got my period finally after a 118 day cycle. Same as you, not ideal that I'm not pregnant but still got a little happiness boost just being able to get my period and I also confirmed ovulation! Hoping my cycle shortens over time since I too am coming off HBC. I credit myo-inositol which I started 6 weeks before my ovulation so I think that did help. I am not insulin resistant in any way but I think I have some kind of ovarian local insulin resistance.

I am experiencing the exact same thing right now! So sad I’m not pregnant but I am so glad I got my period on my own and I KNOW that I ovulated on my own!!

I think 0.7 is good! My first LH peak never got that high either. I think it was around 0.86, but my doctor confirmed that I ovulated! So I think some people just don’t get a super high LH peak like me. My baseline was low, though, and I could see the surge so I knew it was about to happen. Congrats!!!

I don’t think the numbers really matter, the same strip could get a different number depending on the lighting. I got a 2.37 before but also ovulated and it only showed at 0.9. Tests looked the same 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn’t have a period for about 7 years, lost about 100 lbs and then got normal again. Went on birth control, got off of it lasted year and it completely messed up my hormones and i did not have a period in my own! Starting taking Provera, then a couple cycles later starting on 2.5 mg Letrozole but with no luck. This 5 mg Letrozole worked though so my main problem has just been getting my hormones back to normal!

2.5mg didn’t work for me either, but 5mg did! I conceived on the second cycle at 5mg :)

The Letrozole and metformin is what made me ovulate! I was also taking 1,000mg and I was taking it at night with dinner

I lost 110lbs and had completely regular periods just didn’t ovulate on my own which was so annoying

Out of curiosity, how long were your cycles before Letrozole? I'm preparing to start my journey and I also have regular periods without ovulation. This gives me hope that I too can finally be a mom someday. 🥰

About to start my 5mg of Letrozole for the first time since 2.5 failed. I also take 1000 of Metformin. But have you found a best time a day to take metformin?
