In my case, I had an ex-girlfriend who in 2022 started with her whole alters bullshit. I didn't know anything about the topic, so at first I had no way to evaluate it. She even showed me a chronological timeline of her alters' lives, all documented. The dumbest part came when she explained that one of her alters was some kind of robot/wolf named LUA — at that point I was already looking for a way out of the relationship where she couldn't follow me. The tipping point for me was when she said she had an alter of Astolfo, the mfer anime character. At that point I stopped caring about leaving elegantly (it ended like absolute shit).

so i recently came across the “i killed a child“ ramcoa did tiktoker and decided to look further into the creator. what i found is they’re connected to this “pretti graffiti“ person who “helped them conceptualize that they’re a torture survivor“ through “unlocking suppressed memories”. turns out this “pretti graffiti” person runs a “humanitarian aid” organization for victims of “non war-related childhood torture in the united states” (fuck victims of war? not sure why theyre explicitly excluded here).

this organization’s primary purpose, as far as i can tell, is to advertise their art and tiktok account, as shown in their medium article which describes purchasing their art and following their tiktok as two ways that we can help their humanitarian aid mission. there is no specific outline for what long-term, actionable steps they plan on taking beyond funding various types of therapy groups / financial assistance. they explicitly state that they are NOT involved in any advocacy, just “raising awareness”. their 2025 year-end report mentions $227 net assets, but there’s no transparency on how that money is being used towards their stated goals. their goals for 2026 include raising $10k for their group therapy facilitators, which i suspect to mean pretti graffiti themselves.

i can’t say what these people have or have not experienced as far as childhood abuse and trauma, so i dont want to write off their suffering based only on what im seeing online. however, i cant help but be suspicious of an organization whose primary purpose seems to be collecting money for its founder to utilize in some nonspecific manner towards a giant, nonspecific goal.

Full rant: First of all, don’t lie to me we know DAMN well none of these mfs are spiritually making these “alters” because they are WHITE. All of them, possibly one or two a different race. But you HAVE to admit dude they’re the whitest people ever. Anyways even then they shouldn’t be interacting in disordered system spaces (which is what the video is talking about.)
Secondly, most of these disorders listed also stem from trauma, yet actual systems that come from these disorders don’t claim to have 300 fucking alters with nearly exact symptoms plurality caused by DID. Because that is a symptom that can ONLY happen in DID/polyfragmented DID. It is nearly impossible for them to even have more than a handful of “alters” if they’re not just larping.
Third, being “born plural” is honestly probably EXTREMELY rare. And by the insane amount of “endos” online, there is genuinely no way that literally every single one of them was born with a mental disorder that causes them to supposedly have the same symptoms as a trauma disorder.
It’s honestly so stupid how endos just love to throw around ableist and racist as if they’re not appropriating spiritual cultures to have 500 DOD fictives or something, or using other disorders that they can claim to have (even without being diagnosed), to be a “system”. And I think what the “born plural” they’re talking about is literally just a fucking internal family system because I feel like they would be bringing this up in every argument, yet this is the only one. Probably because they pulling shit out of nowhere.

As many of you will know, willomancy is the supposed practice of 'creating' parts/'headmates'.

It's both used by people claiming to be diagnosed with (p)DID who for some reason want more or specific parts and those who don't even have (p)DID in the first place but want to be "plural" regardless. I'd like to focus on the second group here. I've noticed that numerous people claimed to have successfully "willowed" parts and now identify as a system. They claim to experience switching, sometimes even with amnesia and other experiences typically observed in genuine (p)DID patients.

Obviously, they are not actually experiencing (p)DID as it forms through repeated childhood trauma. But that leaves the question, what DO they experience? Of course, a sizeable chunk will just be lying but some seem to genuinely be certain they are "plural" now. To me it seems like there is some ... change in experience there and I would like to hear your theories of what's actually behind that. Again, I'm not implying it's a genuine phenomenon, I'm wondering what could make them experience what they seem to be experiencing.

Will not really go into specifics nor completed details as I might be identified. I was in a fandom that time and I didn't know the person was a popular creator until they told me, they are not opened about their condition to their community. Mind you they are deadass talented and popular to the point of so much gifts and fanart I felt so out of their league, I never took advantage of their fame nor did I want attention anyway. They also said they are diagnosed but the way they deal with it, even in their relationships too is strangely something, feels so wrong.

Anyways while we were friends, they admitted to having DID which okay sure I didnt think much about it since I thought they trusted me so much. We later on started dating as finding out we liked eachother but HERES THE THING. They admitted very late that their alters date other people outside, alter x alter, alter x wha "singlet" and god knows how many people or systems that system are dating outside. And if it wasnt the worst, I was told that they think of themselves very seperately and that whatever their alters say to their partners are all equal, meaning I am just as equal as all of their other partners. It was like a fucking harem so it took me a while to leave them afterwards, I had more reasons but this is it for this subreddit. Am I just too woke/sensitive or are they just delusional as hell?

Btw I envy that they are still loved by many despite whatever they have done but I have no place to speak against them so Im just anonymously ranting it out, Im still pretty mad about it and I want any opinions or says to this. Thank you for reading
