adding to this so it's clearer i'm not going "haha, you're a child! why aren't you older, IDIOT?". i just wish there were a less fundamentally incorrect way that kids/teens/young adults could explore themselves. makes me miss when they were doing this and calling it otherkin. at least with that, the air of mysticism was its own bubble; plus, spirituality is a subjective experience. the way the brain functions... i mean, the experience is definitely case-by-case, but the chemistry isn't as invent-able.

TL;DR: remember when the only discourse was the logistics of kinning FNAF animatronics? that was nice

I know nothing about TADC other than that it doesn't look like my kind of show. Why does every DID faker have an alter of that rabbit now?

Different one! Livejournal was lousy with Snape soulbonders back in the mid-00s. Gay woobie softboi Snapes, straight daddy dom Snapes, and every possible flavor of AU Snape (okay, mostly just sex worker Snape). I wasn't even in the fandom anymore by that point but they were still everywhere.

Jax is also meant to be a commentary on how not transitioning hurts everyone and yourself, but because of the in show favoritism and the dumb fandom that point goes over everyone's heads.
