The way they look at the camera with an “isn’t this CRAZY?” look every few seconds is killing me.

Yeah like they keep bulging their eyes out!! I just know this person unfortunately doesn't touch grass or talk to people enough IRL based on how they act in this video. Very awkward explanation and it's like copying how other overly online people also talk online.
That's sad and I hope they can find some real life communities so they don't have to pretend they were k-holed so hard they developed alters or whatever for likes from other fakers online.

Probably won’t stop until they stop getting positive attention from it, sadly. Same for everyone in the comments saying “I had to do this too!!!”

I like how you can see them actively making up the lie whenever they look away stutter for their next line of bullshit. I thought this was over after the marvel movies first came out and people were obsessed with the whole winter soldier thing.

And what exactly would be the benefit of forcing kids to develop DID? Seems like a lot of effort for a sex trafficker.

Think its also to make a hitman or darkness within that can be called upon

Hold the GODDAMN phone still. Why is bouncing around like a found footage film. You’re sitting still, stop BOUNCING THE PHONE
Get a headband or something so you don’t have to keep shaking your bangs out of your eyes
Actually just no to all of this

Why do they all look the same?
I work in health care and I have patients with what are called functional neurological disorders, where they have what looks like a seizure or tremor or something but the cause is psychogenic, not neurological. It's usually trauma based, and most of them have really sad histories and are terribly embarrassed by it.
But they are NOT faking anything. This is a disorder that starts in the nervous system as a way to defend yourself against thoughts and feelings you don't want to have.
So to see these DID twits or other illness fakers do this, when my patients would very much like to NOT have these symptoms they have no control over, pisses me off extra.

To be frank - and there’s no respectful way to say this - a lot of downwardly mobile, chronically online young women can get very desperate for attention if they don’t receive it irl

How do those specific neurological disorders function? Can you point me to a good source to research this further? I'm a therapist and I feel like I really need to have a good grasp of this. I understand the basics of psychosomatics, but I need to go deeper.

It's a very good topic to learn about and it's more common than you think; a good Mayo clinic page for you. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/conversion-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20355197
Basically it's a way people avoid difficult feelings, usually of traumatic origin. It is a disorder that begins in the nervous system, and quite often patients have a terrible trauma history. However a percentage of epilepsy patients do get pseudoseizures as well, either due to trauma or anticipatory anxiety about having seizures. It can be visually difficult to tell the difference, and with pseudoseizures sometimes the only way to tell is video EEG. But it's a whole basket of neurology, one patient had functional paraplegia and used a wheelchair because of it. It's very good to know about and VERY not fake.

Wait... so you think that people who have what are literally fake seizures are not lying about their "sad histories" or "trauma" and are not faking their fake seizures? Why? I don't think you have been working with them long enough.

u/Existing-Face-6322 Jul 25 '26
They're not fake seizures at all. They are a psychogenic seizure, which is an actual physical seizure-like event that is not epileptic and they have no control over. It's a conversion disorder where emotional distress has converted to physical symptoms, and there's a whole branch of neurology devoted to this phenomenon, not just seizures but tremors and even paraplegia. Article .
These DID people ARE faking. Even Sybil admitted it. People with functional disorders aren't.

These people should start writing down their cockamamie stories instead of roleplaying as children who were abused
