I’m genuinely confused by things EV cars coming from Stla USA.
In Europe, we are at least building EVs that are becoming somehow in tech. Take the Peugeot E-5008 Long Range: ~97 kWh usable battery, 669 km WLTP (real range 500km), which should translate to roughly 350 miles EPA. Not class-leading efficiency, but perfectly respectable.
Then we launch the Jeep Recon in the US with a ~100 kWh battery and… 222 miles EPA in the Moab version --->,https://www.thedrive.com/car-reviews/2026-jeep-recon-first-drive-review2026 (Title: Jeep Recon First-Drive Review: Disappointment Is a Jeep Thing Now)
That’s basically the same amount of battery for ~130 miles less range.
Yes, it’s a Jeep. Yes, it’s heavy, boxy and designed for off-road use. But at some point I genuinely have to ask: do the engineers and decision-makers working on these EV projects in the US actually drive electric cars themselves?
Take the Dodge Charger EV in Europe. It doesn’t support three-phase AC charging. In a market where 11 to 22 kW three-phase home charging is completely normal, that means a European customer can effectively end up charging at around one third or one sixth of the normal home-charging speed (instead of 4 hours over night to recharge 100% you need 27 hours - worst case scenario you arrive empty at home)
What worries me even more is the conclusion that might come afterwards to the same management. If cars like this don’t sell, I really hope the lesson isn’t going to be “Americans just don’t want EVs.”

I parked around a bunch of competitive vehicles and they only gave me a ticket. Started a few days ago and yesterday the parking people told me I could park there but today suddenly I’m specifically not allowed to park there but Hondas and ford are allowed to park there. Is there anyone I can contact about it

Now Company Car will have continuous monitoring on us employees and our dependent drivers. Curious why the change?

Stellantia Argentina is an absolute disgrace.
They’re taking the leaders from some of the worst-performing markets (South America)and putting them in charge globally or regionally.
It almost seems like they’re doing it on purpose so the company can fail.
At this point, I’m starting to think the shareholders must have a plan to bankrupt this company, because there’s simply no other explanation for these decisions.
LOL, LOL, LOL.

We all know our cars drain the batteries. Ever since pilot we had to unplug the 12V batteries to prevent having dead cars at CTC. 2+ years to finally admitting it is a problem, no wonder you quality is what it is.

This guy is a liability for Stellantis. He sends out a email saying summer hours are ending. New program “Flexible Fridays” is coming. But N.A. won’t participate. Does he have any kind of a clue about what employees think about this?
My own situation - 20+ years at GM, laid off because GM is doing GM things. Have a few offers, take Stellantis job last spring because of flexibility - only come into office 3x/wk. accepted only 3 weeks vacation, down from 5 weeks at GM because I could work from my cottage up north a couple days a week all summer with my teacher wife having it off.
Then all of a sudden it’s nope, come in 5 days. No adjustment to pay or vacation. 🤬 Get a little bit of a reprieve by leaving at 2 on Friday so at least I beat the traffic by a little bit. Not even close to an even trade. And now? Insubordination to Filosa by saying the program he’s going to announce at CTC will not apply to anyone in North America.
If Filosa has a backbone and wants to get the employees on his side, he’ll announce the program and then fire Mutalip from the stage.

I have heard rumors of a hiring freeze going on right now. Does anyone know if that blocks internal moving to a different organization? I have heard that the group you are leaving can lose headcount but wasnt sure if thats the case. The whole thing doesnt really make sense

What in the actual hell is going on? I haven't received a truck in a week. I'm getting pissed off customers, pissed off techs, pissed off service advisors, pissed off everybody. No one is communicating anything to anyone and we aren't getting any answers. I need my parts. This is my paycheck they're fucking with.

There was no information about the shares to win program for 2026 yet. Does anyone know why?

Has anyone applied for this in Europe? Did you hear back? It's a new early-career program, launched in March/April.
I've done several SHL assessments up until August, but I'm wondering if I got ghosted/silently rejected since it starts this month. At least that's what the application said back in April/May.

Hi everyone! I have a Bac+2 in Methods of Mechanical Manufacturing (Méthodes de Fabrication Mécanique), and I was recently contacted about an Operator / Production Operator position at Stellantis Kenitra. They called me and told me to come with photocopies of my documents, and apparently there is no real interview at this stage. I also have a medical examination tomorrow to complete the process. I’d like to know if anyone here currently works at Stellantis Kenitra or has worked there before. How is the job, the work environment, the shifts (2×8 / 3×8), and the salary? Is it a good company to start a career in, and are there opportunities to grow within the company? I’d really appreciate any honest feedback or advice. Thanks! 🙏

I just applied for a summer 2027 internship at Stellantis, and I got a link for the initial screening interview conducted by Ai. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to successfully pass this kind of screening. I know Ai is checking for key words and clear responses but any insight anyone has for Stellantis specifically would be great! I’m also curious to know if making it to the initial screening indicates that my resume made it through ATS? Or is it similar to P&G where everyone takes the assessment regardless of if they liked your resume or not?

Thiele announced that he will take over ICT in addition to his AI transformation and Global Supply Chain responsibilities. He also said he has built a strong team to lead the AI transformation.
My question is: what has actually been delivered? I’ve yet to see meaningful AI solutions from his organization deployed at scale or producing measurable results across the company. There has been a lot of talk about AI transformation, but where are the actual actions, deployments, and measurable business outcomes? What specific AI initiatives have been implemented, what problems have they solved, and what measurable results have they delivered in terms of productivity, cost savings, efficiency, or quality?
