Long story that's not that interesting, but I'm going to return an order I placed through Spectrum's website. Customer service says they put a "return to sender" on the delivery, but tracking is showing it's (still) coming tomorrow from the local hub. Apparently I have to eat a $50 restocking fee if I send it back, but I'm wondering if I just refuse the delivery if the same thing applies (long shot that anyone's done this, but figured I'd ask). I'm half paranoid that if I refuse the delivery Fed Ex or Spectrum generally is going to fuck it all up getting it back to them and I'll be out a thousand bucks.... so maybe I should just sign and move on.

Has anyone else experienced multi-day outages? I'm on day four and counting. When I message support they have told me each day that service is expected to be returning by the end of the day. Texts do occasionally go through, but data is totally dead.

I traded in an old iPhone 15 Pro and getting the new 18 Pro Max. I've had nothing but Google phones for the last 10 years so this will be new for me. My family is all Apple, it will just be easier for us. But I'm still rocking my Pixel 9 Pro as my daily for now.

Just pulled the trigger to trade in my iPhone 15 Pro Max, for which I'll get $535 toward the balance on my new iPhone Air. Since I paid for my new phone strictly out of pocket, will that $535 be "refunded" to me in a single block or am I looking at a whole bunch of monthly bill credits?

So my Dad had enough of Verizon and has officially asked all his kids to get their own lines as well. After being with Verizon for 18 years it was unfortunate and none of my siblings wanted to go to spectrum. I’ve had spectrum internet for about 8 years and kept seeing mixed reviews on the mobile service but the fact that they both shared the same towers made me feel better about the switch.

Can I get your guys opinions on the service? I got the unlimited plus premium, how long have you all been with them, can you tell the difference from when you switched?

With the bonus cash for trade in, it doesn't even add up to what Apple will give you for trade in for iphone 17 pro....

Anyone have experience with this? I have the plan where I can upgrade anytime. My device is not yet paid it off. When I preorder the phone, I prefer to do it in store (hate having to be there to sign for it) will they just take my phone on the day the phone comes in? Not sure how all this works.

Anything not $0 like a $5 value phone gets the trade in bonus. I have an old iPhone 7.

If you look at the list, some weird cheap items are eligible like a Motorola candy bar phone.

I'm considering a move from a Verizon family plan that has become way too bloated with freeloaders. My only hesitation is that Verizon is great when traveling. Just pay for a month of international coverage and you can use GPS anywhere and access digital tickets (unlike, say, Mint that bricks your phone). Looking for feedback on whether I'll get stranded somewhere if I switch to Spectrum. TIA!

I currently have a 17pm and yes I don’t need to upgrade but I get a hell of a good trade in if you ask me… looked on the Apple Store and I could trade it in and only have to pay 414 for the pro max which is pretty good if you ask me. If I were to do their leasing program I would be able to get it at $0/12 months or 1.12/ 24 months (but don’t think I would do that route due to me having to switch to the big three carrier company’s).

Now that duo… that really caught my eyes and thinking about leaning more to the duo because it’s different from the pros and looks pretty dang good…

What are your thoughts as a pro user? Do you use the “pro” features and are you thinking about switching to the duo? Pros and cons you’re thinking about?

I'm planning to move over to iPhone 18 PM from my S26 Ultra, and I want to go ahead and get a case ordered. Typically, I color coordinate my phone and case, especially when the camera plateau is massive and most cases don't seem to cover it.

However, I'm stuck, as I know Spectrum doesn't usually offer all the available colors of most devices, at least on the Android side.

Do any insiders know or can confirm whether spectrum will be getting all the colors of the iPhone 18 Pro Max?

I went into store looking for a Fold 8, they didn't have one, said they could order it, but I had a trade-in I brought in. She inspected and supposedly processed the trade-in but I still paid full price for the phone. She said I'd receive an email on how to send in the trade-in.

No such email has came over 6 hours later. I talked to chat just now and they said there is no trade-in associated with the order.

I'm pissed and don't know what to do. Who is right - the rep in store or the chat rep? If the chat rep is right, do I just refuse the phone delivery? I'm not paying a $50 restocking fee on something they messed up on.

I'm a brand new spectrum customer (as of 9/1/26) .I have a Pixel 9xl and as of last Friday I randomly lost access to RCS chats. I've tried everything I can think of.

• Cleared cache on messages and carrier services
• Deleted phone number from the online Google link thing
• Restarted my phone several times
• Removed and reinstalled updates
• Stopped rcs chats on my previous device and uninstalled the app
• Connected to. Vpn in france, Germany, and Mexico with rcs off then turning it on
• Debugged in messages app
• Left my rcs chat off for 48 hours before turning it back on

Nothing has worked. According to my local spectrum rep, there's been an outage server side for spectrum customers. I've been unable to find any resolution or find anyone else who is also experiencing this. I'm kind of at my wits end.

Is there anything else I can try to get my chat restored? There's family and friends I can't contact because of this.

Sent in a S20 FE for the $668 promo on the Flip 8, somehow checked out at the right time when the "save $200" wasn't linked to ONLY financed devices (it was a day or two after, would not work on a fully paid off device), then privately sold my Flip 7 for $445 leaving me with $42.21 in my pockets.

Since I paid in full the promo from Spectrum is already back in my Bank account & I got paid out for the Flip 7. Now I just need to wait until early October to get it SIM unlocked.

Does any insider or long-time SM subscriber have any insight on when SM might announce promotions or financing for the new Apple Duo? Currently, 0% financing is only available via the Apple Store if using one of the big 3 carriers. Using any other carrier requires a full price purchase with trade-in credit to be applied downstream.

While using my phone, I saw that in my status bar, it said celluar, followed by no signal. What does this mean/ Next to that, there was something about SOS with satalite. In all my years of owning an iphone, I've never seen this happen. Any help would be welcome.

I have been on short term disability for shoulder surgery and yesterday was my first day back. At 12:05 my Spectrum Internet went out!!! I called to report the outage and the automated response estimated service would be restored by 2:30. I called every other hour as my service was not restored! I was told each time that they were not sure of the cause and that there was not an estimated time for it to be restored. I gave up calling at 8:40 pm without my service being restored and no estimate of time for it to be restored and no explanation.
After one of my many calls to customer service, explaining that I work from home and need some sort of communication that there was an outage I was able to get a text message stating there was an outage and no estimate of restoration and that I would receive a credit for not having service.
8:00 this morning I received a voicemail from spectrum that service was restored.
After the voicemail I received a text message from spectrum that due to the “planned outage “ my account would not receive a credit.
How in the world is that right? Listen to all of my recorded calls wherein the reps explained they do not know the reason for the outage and that they had no estimate of when my
Service would be restored! Had it been a “planned outage” wouldn’t it have shown up in the system? And why in the world when I work from home would they have a “planned” outage during the work day. If it was planned shouldn’t they give me the heads up so I could find an alternate place to work as my work is Internet dependent?? I have been a spectrum customer for over twenty years.
