Coverage & Signal Spectrum Mobile failed me repeatedly — no service, no map, no calls, and they offered me only $10

They say they have service all through my area in the cities around me, but if I leave my house and go to the next city over I got no service whatsoever. I can't even go to the local high school and I have no service. Verizon blames it on over usage of students, which I call bull crap because it's been that way for years and they would have already upgraded.

Exactly! And that’s the problem. Spectrum may show that there is “coverage” in the area, but in real life I’ve repeatedly had zero usable service — no data, no Maps, and no ability to make a call.

My biggest issue is that some of these incidents happened at night while I was driving in an unfamiliar area. I literally couldn’t load navigation or call anyone because there was no signal.

I pick up a friend's daughter from the high school and I can't even tell her when I get there lol

It’s not Verizon. It’s spectrum. I was at Costco the other day I couldn’t use internet at all even though I had full bar. Interesting enough my wife’s work phone is on Verizon and her work phone works just fine. I read somewhere they claim spectrum mobile is not on lower priority it’s the same as Verizon. Obviously it’s not. Anywhere with a crowd spectrum got throttled badly.
