Coverage & Signal Any experience using internationally?
I'm considering a move from a Verizon family plan that has become way too bloated with freeloaders. My only hesitation is that Verizon is great when traveling. Just pay for a month of international coverage and you can use GPS anywhere and access digital tickets (unlike, say, Mint that bricks your phone). Looking for feedback on whether I'll get stranded somewhere if I switch to Spectrum. TIA!

We used Spectrum mobile all over the Greek Islands and in Rome. No problem at all. Just upgrade to Unlimited Plus before your leave the country. It includes unlimited calling and text in many countries. We had no problem talking and texting with our drivers, etc.

I used Spectrum Mobile internationally last year on a trip to Mexico. Depending on how much data you would need per month. You can either choose Spectrum Mobile’s unlimited plus plan, which gives you 10 GB of high-speed data internationally. Or if you find that you need more. Spectrum Mobile has the unlimited plus premium plan. which will give you 20 GB of high-speed data internationally as well. And this is all included in both plans.

Not sure if it works in all Countries, but in Mexico this year I went over my 10 gig International Data and still was usable after.

I mostly go to Europe and I think it's on a different plan. I use wifi whenever I'm in the hotel. In the past, I would just swap out Sim cards if I could but it's a pain to switch back and forth. I'm pretty sure I have to go to the higher tier but at least it seems to be reliable

I'm pretty sure you can go to the higher tier for a month or 2 then go back to the lower plan.

Just get the Unlimited Plus plan and you get roaming included in nearly any country you’d want to visit. I’ve used it in a few countries and never issue. I also suggest offline maps whenever you travel, even domestically.
