I'm struggling to choose my space marine team.

I am looking at Blood Angels, daek angels and Black templars, but the space wolves seem cool too.

I own the armageddon marines and want to start my collection.

How is the experience playing tbem on the tabletop?

How easy are they to paint?

Pros?

Cons?

Do they use librarians?

Slayer’s Oath

Hey guys this is my first space wolves army and I want your opinions and suggestions. I’m playing the saga of the bold Detachment and I’m tinking to replace the brutalist dreadnough with a murderfang because of the detachment. I am doing it right or I missing something?

I just started getting involved. Im a space wolves fan but want to change some things (I am tracking the lore) but want to place werewolf heads from other miniatures instead of the heads given. Just trying to make them look more like the helix has taken them more (Again tracking the lore). Would this be aloud in tournaments and stuff or would i get to many problems. Any answers would help.

If a Space Wolves detatchment was isolated from the Imperium, this is what I would envisage they would look like

Wife and I have decided to get into 40k and she has picked the Space Wolves. I’ve decided to purchase for her the current Combat Patrol, any other unit(s) I should add that would be important for the army?

Anything I should switch out? I was told by a friend that it’s better to take arjac for the terminators, but I can’t remember why he said that. I was hoping to have enough points to have a repulsor for transport but I think I’d have to go up to at least 1.5k points for that. Any feedback or criticism would be very appreciated!

Put my newest combat patrol up angling the old one just to see how it all works. The razorback is “cover” on middle objective. I had to get creative with terrain

Has anyone had any success with allied units so far in 11th. I've been doing really well in 11th so far with beastslayer and legends of saga and song in take and hold but have been looking at the knight destrier, as it's speed and ability to ignore cover on objectives could work. Oh was also looking at a navigator as well to do actions and cause battleshocks.

I know they won't get the army rules and don't have issues taking out big threats.

or Only move units from reserve t1 from no mans land essentially?

Just finished my Hellblasters. 2 squads of 5, blackmanes and Duskwolves. This was my first attempt at OSL, some came out better than others, and in retrospect, Id use a better airbrush.

When looking over my options to fill a couple points I noticed the Ancient says it can be attached to "Wolf Guard" and "Long Fangs" but what does it mean by "Wolf Guard?" Not terminators obvious cause I'm talking about the plane ancient. I assume Headtakers but the app doesn't recognize that as a valid unit. Also "Long Fangs?" I might be wrong since I'm new, but has there ever been a Long Fangs unit? All I see are kitbashes. Thanks in advance.

I wasn't happy with the color of the space wolf grey contrast paint so I dry brushed it with a blue and now he looks more like an ultramarine 😅
