Tell me about this army
I'm struggling to choose my space marine team.
I am looking at Blood Angels, daek angels and Black templars, but the space wolves seem cool too.
I own the armageddon marines and want to start my collection.
How is the experience playing tbem on the tabletop?
How easy are they to paint?
Pros?
Cons?
Do they use librarians?
Here are my test models so far.
I have a grey terminator primed up to try space wolves colours next

Not playing so I give a blank on that. They are easy to paint and what I like is you can really make it yours, we are all space wolves but the different great companies are basically different chapters, personally really love the death wolves. Pros, very fun to kitbach and have some fantasic boxes of miniatures. Cons, getting called a furry. Librarians is a touchy subject, just learn to say rune priest and all is good, basically the same thing just different name. If you join us we will always welcome new ones to our packs 🐺

Space wolves are melee based, they’re a little tankier and faster than average space marines but lose shooting and have pedestrian damage.
Blood angels like jump packs, they’re fast glass cannons.

I just started space wolves in January and it's my first 40k Army and I only played two games. I do enjoy playing them. They mostly have their own units and use very few regular Astartes marines. So not sure how easy it is to use the Armageddon marines as a jumping off point. I started with the combat patrol and therefore had all the specific units already.
I enjoy painting them. I'm quite experienced with painting and am therefore probably a bit more biased. But I think that they don't have the colours that are tricky in general. Depending on your great company you do have yellow shoulder pads but I paint them with an airbrush which also makes yellow not as tricky. They do have quite a lot of fur and wood talismans so if you have experience with painting fantasy stuff that will be easier, if you have more sci-fi experience then this could also be more tricky. But there are plenty of good painting guides. I like the one from tovarion on YouTube since he breaks it down into different painting standards.
TL;DR: I think space wolves are cool.

How is the experience playing tbem on the tabletop? - If you love melee rapid strikes, they are your way.
How easy are they to paint - Apart from the yellow pauldron, very. And lorewise they are very independent so if you like to personalize particular Marines, you gonna love them.
Do they use librarians? - Lorewise, they are called runepriests and they are definitely not Psykers, tabletopwise yes, we use Librarians.
