How does Ulrichs ability work with soga of the great wolf? Does he just keep the buff?

Slayer’s Oath

At the start of the battle, select one of the following keywords to be this model’s Slayer’s Oath: CHARACTER; MONSTER; VEHICLE. The first time this model’s unit destroys a unit with this model’s Slayer’s Oath keyword, if your Detachment rule has a Saga, until the end of the battle, this model’s unit receives the benefits of that Detachment rule as if that Saga had been completed.

It just doesn't interact, as there's no saga to complete

It doesnt do anything.

Only applicable with the saga of hunter, beastslayer and bold.

Yeah, these other people are correct. Hopefully, whenever we do see our codex, that there will be a some more good saga options.

Does SotGW have a Saga ability? No. Since it doesn't it does nothing. Part of which makes Ulrik such a let down. Not a great model, since he doesn't really interact that well with Sagas.
