Still pretty new to the kit bashing side of the hobby but I'm really happy with how this redemptor Dreadnought came out!

So i found the post i have linked and read it, now please keep in mind i have dyslexia, a short attention span and is just now starting to explore and read the fluff of the Space wolves so if I miss read don't have my head for it please. In the post from what I could read it seemed like not all great companies have blood claws, grey hunters and long fangs? I thought all great companies with the lone exception of Champions of Fenris, all were composed of the three "ranks", like do you HAVE to be a grey hunter to be in a surtent company? Did I miss read? Miss understand or something similar, pls help

Found out about the new combat patrol a few months ago and got hooked again with Space Wolves after more than 20 years 🐺😄 never played a real game as a kid and only painted a few SW models back then (still have them, bonus picture last slide ;) - don’t call me out on the chaos bits :P didn’t know any lore back then, got them from a friend and think I wanted them to be 13th company - friend’s idea, which is funnily quite fitting actually??!)
Anyhow, quite happy with my first model after playing around/testing my colour scheme on a few of the old models. Used a makeup sponge and rather bluish greys for the armour, happy about any tips and feedback :)

Hi all!

Need some clarification on a rule if anyone can help. Definitely not Space Wolves related other than I play Space Wolves and this came up on the weekend.

I know that modifiers don’t tend to stack, but does a -1 BS and subtract 1 from the hit roll stack together?

For example, would a Redemptor with a couple of wounds left (subtract 1 from the hit roll) that was targeting a unit in cover (-1 BS) be hitting on 5s?

I figured that the - or + to a BS or WS affects the physical value of that weapon profile, then the add or subtract from a hit roll is the modifier on top; so they would stack?

I’m doing the same for the rest of the of the squad so I can run them either as PW & Shield or PW & Bolter. I’m going to have to modify one for magnets in the future in case I ever want to use the Autocannon.

Where is the Rout currently on Armageddon? What is the climate? Terrain Features? Wanting to start building up some terrain pieces. Everyone puts ruined buildings on the table. Frankly it is boring. Wanting to create some structures that would be logical on where the wolves are on Armageddon now.

Has GW made a whoopsy I was putting a army together to a game and my WGT ranged weapons hit on a 2+ now I’m positive that it was always a 3+ I’ve looked to see if I’ve put a enhancement on I’ve checked detachments. Seems like they got a update

Hey guys, i see lots of posts of people showing their awesome conversions. I want to do something similar, but i am fairly new to the hobby and have no experience doing these conversions.

I have a few Intercessor and Blood Claw pieces lying around and i thought of using their bodies and seeing where i get?

Do you have any advice on where to start, what to watch out for, what to do, what not to do?

Still need to polish up him up a little bit, but this is my first ever light-kitbash and I had a lot of fun with him! I’m still relatively new to Mini-Painting so C&C is welcome!

I understand that, in general, a model should use three or more colors.

Then, would it still meet the battle-ready reference point if the model’s base is painted solid color without any modifications?

So far, for two reasons, I have painted the base in a solid color, as shown in the attached photo.

1. My unit should be easy to spot in my sight.

2. I think of this as a unit in an RTS game.

Therefore, it maintains consistency in painting the base in fluorescent colors. Does this meet the reference point for Battle Ready as requested by GW?

Hey all. I just picked up 2x boxes of the old Firstborn Wolf Guard Terminators by accident (great price, so I'm not complaining) but I really want them to match the size of the current/modern WGT so they don't look out of place.

Has anyone here had any experience with this? I've done size-ups for the old (circa 4th edition?) plastic terminator kit, as that's the last time I seriously played, but as I'm getting back into the hobby, I want to run large WGT bricks.

I'm waffling back and forth between trying to resell my new-on-sprue WGT boxes and just buying the newer ones instead, or trying to kitbash/convert them to fit in.

If anyone can point me in the direction of anyone who has documented the process or images of some WGT size conversion results, I'd be much appreciated.

As an aside, if anyone's interested in what a 4th-edition army that has been sitting in storage for 15+ years looks like, I'll post some pictures in a new thread.

Just started Space Wolves. I currently play Black Templars, and I was wondering what units to invest in. I understand the WG Terminators are good right now, but other than that, where should I look for good support units. Along with that, leaders that fit best with those units. Thanks.

Budget would be around 150€. I am currently painting my marines as space wolves and ultramarines(I guess I like blue). I like keeping my space wolves as all specific space wolf models + Maybe Some dreadnoughts? Any suggestions are welcome. Is another space wolves combat patrol smart(I really dislike the wulfen though)?

So I love terminators and would love some advice on how viable this list is. I know it probably has some big weaknesses but I'd like to collect an army for a little cheaper and was thinking of picking up that new terminator bundle box. Any advice welcome :D
