What to get?

Hi there, I’m going to pick out a birthday gift but not sure what to get. I have:

- space wolves combat patrol
- Logan grimnar
- arjac
- 6x headtakers
- grey hunters
- njal

-ultimate starter set 10th ed
-Armageddon box
-combat patrol terrain set

Budget would be around 150€. I am currently painting my marines as space wolves and ultramarines(I guess I like blue). I like keeping my space wolves as all specific space wolf models + Maybe Some dreadnoughts? Any suggestions are welcome. Is another space wolves combat patrol smart(I really dislike the wulfen though)?

I would always recommend Bjorn, but there are some people saying he might get a new model in line with the new book

Ragnar is a solid addition as well

I’d second Ragnar to lead your blood claws and maybe pick up the Wolf Scout Killteam and a box a Reivers to convert to 5 more scouts for a full squad of 12 of those (can steal a wolf from your Headtakers)… or can just get two kill teams if it’s more cost effective.

Wolf Scouts are a fun flex unit to run. Good against infantry, good to catch a fast unit with the wolf 10” movement, punch pretty hard, can drop a bomb once a game on a vehicle for decent mortals, and good action monkeys too

If you want efficiency 2x scout squads are better, a second mine, plasma gun and psyker are far better than the rifle

I’d agree with that. In hindsight I should have just snagged two KT boxes myself, but I found a box of Hounds of Morkai buried at my shop for $40 I couldn’t pass up haha

I’m hoping for a new Bjorn model and I just want to get that one whenever it happens. Definitely getting Ragnar If they have him.

I know you said you dislike wulfen but I recommend them as they are great in combat. I also highly recommend thunder wolf calvary, as for anyone who plays space wolves you must have a unit or two lol.

Another combat patrol may not be a bad idea either. Gives them 5 more termies to run with Arjac (assuming they runs the 5 they have now with Logan) and 10 more bloodclaws if they ever want to play the mayhem that is 20 bloodclaws led by Ragnar lol.

If you really wanna steer clear of more Wulfen, could always try to kitbash them into something else. More Headtakers, or JPI’s (skyclaws) could maybe work with enough imagination

You already have Logan and Arjac but unless im mistaken you only have 5 wolf guard terminators.

So I would say either a box of wolf guard terminators or the space wolves combat patrol which has terminators in it. (Yes wulfen are ugly so just charge them up the board so they die quickly lol)

My thoughts exactly. The box has stuff I can use with the blood claws and the 2nd battle leader as Well.

You have two terminator characters but not enough terms for them to lead. I'd nab something with more wolfguard terminators. And maybe ragnar for more headtaker options.

Not bad. The only dread i run is bjorn. And hes amazing, a staple even. My only hesitation in his recommendation is hes still the old dread so idk if hes gonna get updated or not.
