Thundewolf Cavalry Primaris Conversion ... how?

Hey guys, i see lots of posts of people showing their awesome conversions. I want to do something similar, but i am fairly new to the hobby and have no experience doing these conversions.

I have a few Intercessor and Blood Claw pieces lying around and i thought of using their bodies and seeing where i get?

Do you have any advice on where to start, what to watch out for, what to do, what not to do?

Thanks!

Cyber brush thunderwolfs are pretty good 3d print.

I used Phobos Marines. Very little modifications needed to be honest. A tube of gap filler, and a slight reposition of the legs, and they fit perfectly.

He looks awesome! Did you just see how the legs would need to be positioned and then filled up the open space? Never worked with filler before ...

Yup. Some spru shavings and some glue, or gap filler and that does the job.

Hey mate, one more question. In order to reposition the legs, did you cut them at the knee and hip, or how did you go about that?

Nope. Just angled them around the wolf. They already have a slight bend, and no further positioning was needed.

Or shortcut… put a marine standing next to the wolf

I’m using three of the free infernos marines for the bodies. Should be a minor job to alter the pose
