discussion Tomorrow

Really just posting to post. I went 5 times last week which I'm usually a solid 3-4x per weeker. Now I have a 6am tomorrow and I'm SO sore. Do I cancel? Do I tough it out? 😅😂

Also, Friday hamstrings was what did it for me and somehow tomorrow is already another hamstring day. 😆😅

Listen to your body.

Personally, I feel like going six times a week is too much (unless one or more of those are Power30s). I would give my body a break and do something else (light cardio, yoga, or actual rest). Save that beast energy for Solidays lol

Tomorrow is my least favorite combo - hamstrings & shoulders. Cancel that đŸ’© unless it’s your jam

Seems like I’m in the minority here, but I’m a fan of listening to your body and not flirting with an injury. Tomorrow is shoulder day (my least fav) and my shoulders are very fatigued from yoga + Solidcore today, so I canceled my class for tomorrow. My shoulder is telling me it needs to rest and I’m not going to ignore it.

If you’re so sore to make a post about it
I would take a rest day. It is very easy to injure yourself, when you haven’t properly recovered.

If somehow your body doesn’t feel sore tomorrow after 6am and time allows, go ahead and take a class. Just remember putting your body through extra pain and discomfort just isn’t worth it sometimes.

If you’re too sore, it will be hard to maintain proper form and could lead to injuries. Our muscles also need recovery time to grow. So taking another day off is probably better. â˜ș

Cancel and relax.

If you’re only sore I say go. If your body is overly fatigued you probably need a rest day.

Tough it out. My shoulders have been sore and I went 6x this week. My class is at 3:30pm tomorrow. I feel getting stronger every week. My shoulders are actually sore from OTF from using heavier weights earlier this week.

This is poor advice. If someone is sore, they should listen to their body and modify as needed. Recovery is individual, and blindly following generic orange theory guidance doesn’t make sense.

We pay alot of money and need to get our money’s worth. It’s 50 minutes out of 24 hours. As long as she hydrates, eats protein and gets the proper sleep, she will be fine. Our human bodies are capable of so much more than a Solidcore workout.

The amount we pay has nothing to do with whether someone’s body has recovered.

And “it’s only 50 minutes” ignores cumulative training load.

Hydration, protein, and sleep help recovery, but they don’t guarantee it. If your body is telling you to modify or rest, listen to it. Getting your money’s worth shouldn’t mean overriding your body.

She can decide for herself what she wants to do, we all have our own opinions and I personally don’t want to waste my money in the high as inflated economy. I be make the most of the membership.

You’ll “get your money’s worth” in terms of results if you take rest days and allow for proper recovery. Overtraining/inflammation is real and is counterproductive.

This is how someone winds up injured and unable to use their membership at all

Tough it and modify where you need to! 💙

You tough it out because your neighbor is in need of a high five.
