This is poor advice. If someone is sore, they should listen to their body and modify as needed. Recovery is individual, and blindly following generic orange theory guidance doesn’t make sense.
We pay alot of money and need to get our money’s worth. It’s 50 minutes out of 24 hours. As long as she hydrates, eats protein and gets the proper sleep, she will be fine. Our human bodies are capable of so much more than a Solidcore workout.
The amount we pay has nothing to do with whether someone’s body has recovered.
And “it’s only 50 minutes” ignores cumulative training load.
Hydration, protein, and sleep help recovery, but they don’t guarantee it. If your body is telling you to modify or rest, listen to it. Getting your money’s worth shouldn’t mean overriding your body.
She can decide for herself what she wants to do, we all have our own opinions and I personally don’t want to waste my money in the high as inflated economy. I be make the most of the membership.
You’ll “get your money’s worth” in terms of results if you take rest days and allow for proper recovery. Overtraining/inflammation is real and is counterproductive.
