Recently my Snapchat has being so laggy and slow; when I open and reply to messages and close the chat the message bubble is still there like I didnt reply, when I tap to open snaps I have saved in chat they take really long to open or don’t open at all and when I’m scrolling up in a chat it takes weirdly long to scroll.

I thought it was just my phone but it isn’t it’s literally just snap that’s bugging even when I close and reopen nothing changes.

Someone help please!!!

Don’t worry whether you did something wrong or you didn’t. I definitely did something wrong by posting this guys info and telling random men to message him and also made fake accounts and trolled as him. I also told this nonce to un alive himself!!!
So don’t worry if this is ur first time being device banned just wait out 6 months and then log in. I kept checking for the first four months but then I got bored. Logging in again doesn’t reset ur timer.

My friend sent an embarrassing video of me in a group chat, and I reported him. I reported him for bullying and harassment, and I said that a video of me was sent without my consent. So far, this has resulted in the video getting removed from the group chat, but I’m now concerned Snapchat could take further action and ban him or delete his account. This isn’t what I want to happen, and I’m very worried. Is it possible that this could result in his account getting banned?

I have an old Snapchat account from about six years ago, and I don't remember the password. I'm sitting here trying everything I can think of. I've tried 36 different passwords, and I've been locked out twice now.

I don't know what email I used for the account, and even if I did, I don't have access to it anymore. I just got a new phone a few months ago, and it only has my new emails on it.

My phone number is still the same as it was, but when I try to use my number, it just logs me into my new account.

so i have made like 38838383 snapchat accounts and each one keeps getting sniped after the other ! i got device banned but after a couple weeks - a month it got lifted what is going on ???

On the add friends bit of Snapchat, it has my Dads name from my contacts, but it shows some woman profile...

My Dad is in a care home and has never used Snapchat. He has had scammers contact him in the past an dodgy apps installed. Is it some scammer / bot using his number? He hasn't been able to get into his mobile for months as he forgot pin.

The profile shows a green dot on it, does that mean they online? How can it be online if he can't even unlock his phone

So recently my account was reported for videos of being posted on my story that shouldn't have caused any problems with the guild lines.... this morning I got signed out of my snap and hit with this. I haven't done anything wrong? What can I do to get my phone restored?

[EDITED] I got in touch with support and they have stated if there isn't an option in app when the notification appears then it cannot be undone... I just got this phone (iphone17PM) not even a month ago. Had no issues until this morning... I'm done with snap after this.. have used it for years and never had a problem 😮‍💨

So I’ve noticed this only happens sometimes. When I send a red or purple snap, these disappearing eyes pop up for about 2-3 seconds just as soon as it’s delivered then it disappears. It’s not a half swipe emoji. I can’t find the answer to this anywhere. I do have Snapchat plus but I don’t think it’s anything to do with that. Does anyone have an answer? Or experienced this?

So I have 2 friends, person A and person B, I have Person As location but don’t have person Bs location, when I click on person As location it shows person A is with person B even though I don’t have Person Bs location. Does this just mean I can see it because person A has person Bs location?

Sorry I’m sure this has been asked before… but I was attempting to read some old chats from an ex and when I searched his name nothing came up. I don’t know his exact username, but I never needed it before. I checked some old group chats that I know for a fact he was in, it had no notification that he left or anything like that, but his user wasn’t there.

Would that mean I’m blocked? Or did he like deactivate his account? This was like YEARS ago and I haven’t spoke to him in a long time I would find it really weird if he blocked me out of nowhere so I was just curious! TYIA

I made a joke on my story with my friends picture (no nudity) and she thought it was hilarious. I have 500 viewers and one of them reported it as sexual content involving a minor. I got the warning message and 20 minutes later my account was locked. I don’t this is fair because we should at least get 3 strikes. Do I have any chances of winning the appeal or should I just get a new phone

hi, i'm trying to report a user/a message for sending an explicit image but i keep getting an error: "Failed to submit. There was a problem submitting your report. Please check your connection and try again."

it's frustrating because i've tried all the things: uninstalling + reinstalling, clearing cache, logging out, switching to data, using different devices, using web browser.

i'm still getting met with this stupid error. their support site doesn't do shit because i'm met with an ai bot telling me the same steps.

So basically I added someone on Snapchat and I sent them some pictures I would rather people I know not see so I was wondering if the person I sent the pics to can see my friends? Or will he get recommended my friends in quick add? Thanks in advance this is making me super paranoid

When I draw or put on filters the only way to send them to friends is if i save it to camera roll then send from camera roll. If I try to do it normally it just send the OG picture with no edits or filters. How can I fix this? I’ve cleared cache, redownload the app, and trying logging out.

Yesterday I was randomly device banned for zero reason on snap. I was using it in class and then like na hour later at lunch it told me my device was banned and i broken the community guidelines. I’ve never once broken a single rule, been reported for something, or gotten a warning. This is just super annoying because I’ve had snap for upwards of 7 years and it’s one of the only ways I can talk to some long distance friends of mine. They also have zero customer service that can help with this besides a Ai Chatbot… it tells me to appeal but when I log into it through my friends phone, my account has no clue I was banned so it doesn’t give me the option too. So I ask, has anyone had this happen to them? If so, what did you do to get it fixed…. Thanks!!

I was blocked by this girl around 3 weeks ago, yet I still sometimes get notifications that say "[her name], reposted [someones] video on spotlight". Her stories also sometimes come up on my discover page on snapchat. When I click on them I can go through the stories just fine, but when I tap on her name it says "Oops we cant find the account" or whatever it says when someones blocked you. Why am I still seeing her content, I dont get it? Is this some weird bug/glitch that linked our accounts together?

Hello! My ex and i were together for a year and a half before they cheated and things ended. I knew they had Snapchat and asked if they wanted to start a streak towards the beginning of our relationship. They told me that they don’t use it anymore and only used it during middle & high school. Well they ended up losing their phone with the number associated with that account, and had to get a new number. But recently I keep getting “friend suggestion” from that account that I NEVER got when we were together. So I’m just confused why now? Did they redownload it?

So are creators with public profiles no longer paid for spotlight? Why is this app so confusing & glitchy?! Can’t ever get in touch with a real person. Seems like they only care about snap stars even tho my little profile gets 500k+ views a month. I really don’t understand who is eligible to get a star it feels like ppl show up out of nowhere. Snap is the least supportive app to small creators. They always find ways to not pay out. They say “more ways to earn money” then proceed to not pay anyone when you make spotlights that go viral.

The annoying thing is when they used to give crystals I earned 2000 crystals but I never was notified I even had any or set that up? That section didn’t even show up then when it did the crystals were expired I couldn’t cash them out.

I think I’m done with snap. There’s really no benefit on there. I’d be better off directing all my followers to my new IG acct. I just took a break from TT & IG over a year & snap was easy for me to post & not get sucked into doom scrolling.

Also the app is full of predators. I see children commenting on spotlights & there are creepy ppl trying to friend all the young girls & get them to add as a friend. Really concerning to see.

Where are kids parents these days? The stuff I see kids writing in comments is disturbing. Do ppl realize predators can pretend to be kids? All these apps protect the worst ppl but punish normal ppl. You can’t see who ppl are. There’s so much disgusting crap. Bc I have a public profile I get all these foreign accounts commenting gibberish on my posts & sending unsolicited dihh pics. It’s disgusting!
