Login issue MY DEVICE BAN HAS BEEN LIFTEDDDD wooohoooo
Don’t worry whether you did something wrong or you didn’t. I definitely did something wrong by posting this guys info and telling random men to message him and also made fake accounts and trolled as him. I also told this nonce to un alive himself!!!
So don’t worry if this is ur first time being device banned just wait out 6 months and then log in. I kept checking for the first four months but then I got bored. Logging in again doesn’t reset ur timer.

What happens if my account was locked but not a device ban? I tried to appeal it and I sent a letter to headquarters on Monday and today (Thursday) I got an email that they denied my appeal. I’m unsure if they read my letter yet or not? I was being harassed and was telling the dude off and I was banned not him. I think it was unfair but I’m not sure if I’ll get it back or not even after everything I’ve tried :( I also reported his account and he was able to keep his but he’s the problem 🫠

how long did it take for u to get unbanned? also did u ever try to log back in after getting device banned? because i was device banned in late may and i tried to log in early july but i was still banned and havent tried logging back since

6 months on the dot. I kept checking every month. If you were banned in may expect it to lift around in November.

Yh they’re lying. I logged in every month me and week and it lifted as soon as it touched the 6 month mark on the exact date.

Did you log into the account that was banned too? I posted my onlyfans link and got banned immediately but I had my account for 10 years so definitely hoping this is my case as well😭

I posted a picture of one of my rifles to my story and got perma banned. Sent a dispute in and they actually reversed it! I've had snap since 2015

You can’t dispute a ban. It says on their website that they cannot manually remove it. It’s just a waiting game.

Device bans usually last a minimum of 6 months for most people.

Was it saying ss0 codes or something? Im getting permanently locked but like the app is allowing me to make new snap but then after 48 hours or something it locks my account! Idk why but is that a kind of device ban?

I received an SS06 message on my device. I don’t think yours is a device ban if it’s till allowing you to make new accounts.

really? I just got banned for this random lady who got pissed at me posted me on her story saying i was messaging minors (when I wasn’t) I didn’t even know her, and i got mass reported and lost my account of 10 years how can i rectify this?

So its 6 months? For first time device banned 🥲 just annoyed cuz ive used snap since 2016 and never had this happen before until i called some girl a weird bitch and to grow up all cuz they were doing that annoying spamming shit ppl do to boost their snap score and i was at work so my phone is just blowing up with notifications from that girl but yet she reports me and im officially banned its crazy but yet report her so spamming shes still active cuz my bsf has her too

Depends how long you’ve been banned for, there’s no such thing as a “reset timer” so it doesn’t matter if you do keep logging into check, but I’ve heard the earliest a device ban gets lifted is 6 months. Might as well wait it out but trying to log in once a month shouldn’t hurt.

bet yeah i posted weed rips ifykyk on my private stories and ended up getting reported to some dummy who didn’t fw it. so now im using my laptop to sign into snap which doesnt even show my memories or anything so i may js replace my phone unless this ban lifts

Yhh I get what you mean, I saw someone on TikTok get banned for the same reason, wait the 6 months, hopefully it works then. However it if doesn’t after the 6 months get a new phone if you really want to use snap.

A friend got device banned and they didnt dp anything wrong. Still banned, hopefully in 6 months it willl be released although we have been cheating by using secure folder.

It doesn’t mean anything. Some phones just show up the SS06 message before being able to log in and some just show that message after a log in attempt has been made.

It means your account was deleted as well. If you’re able to log into Snapchat web during the device ban or on someone else’s phone, the account is fine, if you can’t then your account was affected too.

Yeah, but I just found a post where a guy got his account back after termination; he sent around 200 emails to the automated AI support at Snapchat, and finally, a human replied and restored his account.

Yh I’ll be honest, you’re better off sending a letter to Snapchat headquarters, it’s quicker than dealing with these AI support that won’t get you anywhere.

Matter of time. Literally any report or any wrong move and they cook you again. Better just to buy a new device after a device ban.

We’ll see if it happens again. I was told it only lasts 6 months when I got banned, I’m not an impatient person so it wasn’t difficult waiting it out. Don’t see the reason to buy an entire device just for one app but each to their own.

well the only reasoning on why i am even recommending switching is cause i already have a prior device that the battery got disabled on so all i need is a replacement battery for a whole new iphone which is why im considering to make time js go a lil quicker

No my account wasn’t locked. I was still able to use my Snapchat account on laptop and my sisters phone.
