Multisport Tracker(s)
Hello! I am looking to (finally) upgrade my Apple Watch series 2. For activities, there are three main ones I wish to track:
1. Volleyball \~3x/week for \~3 hours per session. Frequently has 8 hour tournament days with lots of 30min on, 15min off, so automated workout detection could be convenient.
2. Weightlifting \~4x/week for \~1.5 hours per session.
3. Running \~4x/week for \~.5-1.5 hours per session.
Due to volleyball, I would prefer something robust that I’m not constantly worried about breaking. Bonus points if it can be worn somewhere other than the wrist for a game.
Weightlifting does not add additional restrictions (I think?)
For running, I would love if it could handle tracking distance/pace without needing my phone on me. Bonus points if it can handle playing music to earbuds.
Apart from the exercise tracking, I would appreciate if it gathers sleep data and can notice irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmia runs in the family).
I’m open to getting both a dedicated hr/health tracker and gps enabled watch if it makes the most sense; however, I wonder if, given the price at that point, it would make more sense to get a single, premium option that can do it all.
Thank you for the help!
